We were so grateful that the pump motor didn't burn out! My wife went by our former residence the following Monday and found the pool out of prime. I headed over and found the pool filter basket lid installed backward/upside down with "FRONT" facing the wrong way, and therefore it could not be tightened. I fixed the issue and got the pump back to prime and immediately called around, while my wife let the owner of the other company know about "yet another" of his employees' goofs. Pretty Pools had the most reasonable fees and have done an infinitely better job than the last company. We had zero issues with Pretty Pools maintaining our pool and the house just sold and the buyers have been referred them as well. Pretty Pools also does the chemicals service at our new place and I'm as pleased as can be. They also sent a tech (for a fee) to evaluate our pool heater. The information I received was invaluable and we will be using them to replace the heater. There are other companies in the area that also do great work, but charge quite a lot more and I'm not entirely sure they're worth it. Pretty Pools does a great job, communicates well and always returns calls/emails.

After purchasing my home right as the summer months were upon us, there were no other companies with availability. They're unprofessional and will attempt to scam you out of your money as they attempted to charge me a starting price of $1700 to open up my pool (eventually paid another company that charged me less than $300) as they stated the pool needed a full drain with acid wash. Then they claimed that filter cleans were $135 per clean and that mine likely needed at least 3, when the company that opened my pool included it in their price. The tech also used my pool tools rather than the company's, and then the secretary/manager (TJ) took the tech's side (without any discussion) after I complained about the pool not being vacuumed (not once all summer), walls being partially brushed, water left running from the hose into the pool all night without my knowledge, and the pool overall not being cleaned properly. They didn't even bother to have a ledger stating what pool services were completed or chemical levels until after I complained. Stay away from these crooks ... You've been warned.

When I reached out about missed service, I was told it would be rescheduled. That never happened. Days later, I received a message saying they no longer service my area. No accountability, no urgency, just a delayed afterthought. Then came the refund process. Again, slow and reactive. I had to follow up multiple times to get clarity on when my money would be returned. When a company makes the decision to stop servicing an area, that should trigger immediate communication and prompt refunds. That didn't happen here. This isn't just poor customer service, it's disorganized and disrespectful of people's time and money. At a minimum, this company needs to: * Notify customers in advance if service areas are changing * Honor rescheduling commitments instead of disappearing * Process refunds quickly and transparently without customers having to chase them Right now, the experience feels like you're the last to know anything, and that's a problem.
