I hired this company for the 2024 pool season... and then fired them. As the 2025 pool season is starting, it felt important to warn others about this company, especially new pool owners as they will attempt to take advantage of that particular point. After purchasing my home right as the summer months were upon us, there were no other companies with availability. They're unprofessional and will attempt to scam you out of your money as they attempted to charge me a starting price of $1700 to open up my pool (eventually paid another company that charged me less than $300) as they stated the pool needed a full drain with acid wash. Then they claimed that filter cleans were $135 per clean and that mine likely needed at least 3, when the company that opened my pool included it in their price. The tech also used my pool tools rather than the company's, and then the secretary/manager (TJ) took the tech's side (without any discussion) after I complained about the pool not being vacuumed (not once all summer), walls being partially brushed, water left running from the hose into the pool all night without my knowledge, and the pool overall not being cleaned properly. They didn't even bother to have a ledger stating what pool services were completed or chemical levels until after I complained. Stay away from these crooks ... You've been warned. read more

I understand why you feel the need to defend your business - but you weren't here nor did you ever speak to me personally before or after the fact. At the freeze I only needed a pool check initially for a $95 service call fee plus any extras. How could I possible have received an "estimate" in February when no one had even been out to see if I had damage? After the 2 visits that went completely wrong in May and the advisement there would be another service charge of $95 to see why my pool was green I did receive an email of estimate costs for cracked housing repair. I don't know why I haven't already reviewed my 'pool guy', but when I saw someone review theirs recently I knew it was time to spring into action. Diamond Pools is a family business owned and operated by Carlos Pizarro (and most likely his wife, at least for the 'owned' part, since I've never seen her cleaning my pool!). He's a family guy who's very friendly, reliable, polite, and has a strong work ethic. He shows up every week on the same day and at about the same time of day (barring unusual circumstances - like heavy rain or some event that makes everyone's pools filthy and in need of extra attention). He takes care of all the maintenance the pool needs and cleans the filters on a regular basis. If there's any kind of problem with the equipment, he'll let you know and can make the repairs. Carlos is a real nice guy and is the kind of person you can trust on your property. If you're as particular as I am about who comes and goes at your house, give him a call. So I thought I had already left a review but i guess I forgot. I am a new pool owner but not new to maintaining pools. I called several people listed on Yelp and many said they didnt service Lewisivlle or they were to busy to come out to do what I wanted done. I have no experience with a DE filter. I have used cartridge, sand and salt. I needed someome to come out and clean my filter and show me how to do it. Carlos has his guy come out who I believe is named Dustin. He was a super nice guy. He was patient with my questions and fixed a problem on the pump. About a month later I was having a pump problem and Carlos walked me through it over the phone to try different things. It took about 30 minutes of his time but he wanted to see if I could fix it so he wouldn't have to bring a guy out and charge me a seevice call. Great customer service read more

When I first call, they came out and checked the problem, they gave me an estimate and I agreed on the repairs and I have been waiting 5 days for the repairs to be done and no one showing up or even care to schedule us for the repairs and the pool cleaning wasn't that good. Don't waste your time, get a reliable company. Carlos your accusations about asking for a refund for a better review is series. This has never happened. On the other hand you didn't return my phone calls until I posted the 1 star review and then you billed me a hefty bill for a job that was barley done good and I paid it right away. But I never imagined a business owner will come with all of these lies on a post. I called them in a bit of a panic on a rainy, cold December Friday afternoon just before Christmas because our pool pump wasn't working. Several other companies had already told us they couldn't help because of the holiday. Because of the cold, we needed to have it fixed immediately. Troy was incredibly helpful. I texted several photos and then tried to turn the pump on. He listened to it over the phone for a couple seconds and diagnosed it. He came out less than an hour later, replaced a part and had us up and running. Incredibly grateful for the fantastic, quick service from both Amanda and Troy. They serviced my pool for a while and sent a totally different tech out to my pool one day. My live in nanny was there cleaning and had the dogs out back. This tech came into the back yard unannounced and startled my dogs, and the nanny (who lives there) immediately put them away when they started to bark. We have never had any issues with previous tech and my dogs love him but this new person came in unannounced etc. then I get an email from Carlos with a fabricated story that my dogs bit his tech 3 times. I confirmed with my nanny who witnessed this that they did no such thing. Then Carlos changes the story that the dogs bit her 3 times and he can't service my pool with such aggressive dogs. I'm so upset that a tech can fabricate stories and also handle this situation so poorly. I've had other pool service companies that have never had any issues or handled entering a backyard so unprofessionally when the homeowner and pets are home. read more

I had an electrical problem with my pool filtration system and was hoping for timely assistance. Carlos responded within 20 minutes. He helped me diagnose the problem over the phone and via text. Will I continue using Diamond Pools Yes. BUT, I'm giving 4 stars with a 2 Star review. I know how tough it is operating a family business. We have an older pool in one of the higher end areas in Fort worth. Which means we have a lot of maintenance but need a professional job. Sadly we really never got to enjoy the pool vs. fixing it and or cleaning it. We did however get an aswsome pool/sauna heater installed by these guys, which was very professional! 5 stars. I'm not sure what the issue has been, but I explained the pressure and the flow of the pool and the jets not sweeping/ circulating the pool properly from the get go. They offered suggestions and gave me wishy washy answers. As, they were just looking for the quick fix and not wanting to get into lengthy or hard jobs, at least that's my impression. Recently, we called them to clean the pool because we were putting the house up for sell. They noticed the pump wasn't working, so they contacted me. I was like yes please fix it we are selling the house. They fixed it and asked me if we wanted the filter cleaned, I said yes go ahead. Well they cleaned the filter and fixed the pump, and cleaned the pool. Well we had pictures taken to sale the house, and we noticed murky water. BTW we are living in California selling the house in texas, so this is al via phone. So I contacted carlos and asked why, and texted the worker. I get a response that well the filter hadn't been filtering properly due to a cracked manifold and a broken grid, on top of the pump not running. But we did asked that the pool be cleaned, and come to find out they do have a machine/tool that gets sand out of the pool, that they could've used. I also brought up the fact again that the pool just doesn't seem to circulate/sweep the sand off the steps properly. Now this is after three years of using these guys, and now he mentions they could change the jets to get more flow out of them potentionally. I was like Wow, how come we haven't heard this before. So the reason, you did not get 5 stars, is the fact that I felt like I kept on having to do the following up. This pool really needed the assessing from yall, to fix any/all problems from the get go, so we could enjoy this pool. It is a business, and we were willing to pay the money to fix any and all problems/concerns with the pool. Which in return is money in yalls pockets. I by no means, am a pro when it comes to pools, I depended on yall for that. I mean I figured yall would come out assess the pool, fix this and that, ask us is there any concerns of yall with the pool, yea there is this and that issue, all right let me throw you some hypotheticals and give you some options. Instead its been a long process on getting things fixed on this pool, and now we are selling the property. Carlos is a trusting guy, and would still recommend this company to anybody, but once again I drew the short straw. read more

This is a company that does not take responsibility for what they do. The owner, Carlos is condescending and rude. He would try and make you believe that NOTHING is his fault.....even when he is being paid to keep your pool correct. his dishonesty is evident. too top things off he hung up on me. I have used these people twice in the last two years. Both times they have been great. First was a bad salt system and second was a bad capacitor on the pump motor. My stuff is getting older and instead of taking advantage of me, they offered exactly what was needed. I do my research but don't always have the ability to do the repair myself.
