But after months of sleepless nights and feeling completely helpless in my own backyard, I owe it to every hardworking family to share what happened to me. If this stops even one family from going through what we have, every word will be worth it. In October 2024, we signed a contract with Prestige Pool for a pool and deck -- nearly $250,000 of our family's hard-earned savings. We trusted them completely. That trust was a mistake we are still paying for. Their contract is designed to make you helpless. You must pay in full before the plaster -- the final step -- yet you cannot test a single pump or filter until after it's done. You hand over hundreds of thousands of dollars completely blind. When I raised this, no one cared. They already had my money. They made written commitments and then denied them. Drainage approved by email by both the project manager and account manager? Suddenly "emails don't count." At 92% paid, I was trapped. They made me pay extra for work already promised in email. I had no choice. The moment the final payment cleared, I became invisible. I called and messaged my project manager Cody every single day. The response was always silence or "I'm looking into it." Three months have now passed. Not one person from Prestige Pool has knocked on my door, picked up the phone to ask how things were, or sent even a courtesy message asking if I was satisfied. Not one. The plaster they installed has visible stains -- and they still haven't fixed it. It's March 2026. I cannot use the pool, afraid they'll blame me for the damage and use it as an excuse. The lights on my deck were installed wrong -- and their solution was to make it my problem. I paid for premium FX Luminaire deck lights with separate zones. The electrician installed them incorrectly. After months of daily follow-ups, Cody finally gave me his answer: why don't you just buy the missing parts yourself and hire someone to fix it? I had already paid for this. In full. The mistake was theirs. But their answer was for me to spend more of my own money to fix what they broke. I was speechless. The firepit moment is the one I will never forget -- it should have been completed before the plaster. It wasn't. Months passed. Finally, in February 2026, Cody showed up. He brought a $5 bag of rocks from Home Depot. I almost accepted them -- until I read the label on the bag. It said, clearly and explicitly, do not use in a fire pit. These rocks can absorb moisture and explode when exposed to fire. When I pushed back, the rocks were replaced with a cheap bag of lava rock from Amazon that looks completely out of place. Not the glass rocks I was shown in the showroom when they were selling me this dream. And when I asked why? "It's not in the contract." That sentence -- those five words -- is the answer Prestige Pool has for everything. It is their weapon. A $100 garden hose reveals their true character. The crew used and mishandled my backyard hose during construction. Cody promised to replace it -- first saying their Home Depot account was blocked, then in January promising to sort it, then finally telling me nothing was wrong and he wouldn't replace it. If a man cannot keep his word over something this small, ask yourself -- this is the person Prestige Pool puts in charge of your life savings. Volleyball accessories paid for in October 2024 were delivered today -- March 2026. Five months of monthly follow-ups for something already paid for, with zero apology. And over all this, I experienced racial discrimination. I don't say this lightly. I say it because it is true, and because no one -- no matter how much money they spend or where they come from -- deserves to be treated as less than human. I have every message, email, and photo documented and ready to share. I just don't want another family to feel this helplessness, this betrayal, this grief of watching something, you worked years for, become a source of pain.

HOA approved 6-6-25, and excavation began 6-19-25. 8 months later, neither the pool nor kitchen is complete. Laborers had appeared sporadically, and when workers did show up, they worked limited hours, with no meaningful progress made. Repeated written requests for a work schedule, updates and timeline to complete had been refused/ignored by Radelli. Despite receiving $290,000 (over 90% of the $320,000 contract price) in payments made on-time, Radelli had completed no more than 60-70% of the contracted work. Furthermore, Radelli failed to obtain the required city of The Colony, Texas electrical and plumbing permits for the kitchen and pergola construction. Radelli's refusal to provide consistent manpower, non-performance, abandonment, failure to maintain a safe site, and failure to obtain required city permits constituted multiple breaches of the contract and subsequently termination for Cause, that was effective 11-5-25. This is now a pending status legal lawsuit.

Last year as I was recovering from back surgery, I called in multiple times per week to request leaf pick up only to be told "it's going to happen this week". It took more than 1 month between my request and the actual leaf pick up. This is an incredibly high maintenance maintenance service for something as trivial as "weekly lawn care". I put in more work calling and calling to get bills corrected and the right services than i do all my other bills combined. Obviously, I do not recommend them.

Windy River Pools is a new company owned by the Kessler's, a married couple. Robert Kessler owned Pacific Builders Group- a Landscaping & Pool - Design/Build Out company in California for 28 years. He takes that knowledge and his General Contractor license in pool building, renovation and maintaining to Texas! Windy River Pools offers a holistic approach in pool maintenance! When I set up an account with them, Robert trouble-shooted my poorly working Polaris, tuned-up my pool equipment, evaluated the pool water chemistry and vacuumed, removed plaster stains and brushed down my pool! Their monthly maintenance fee is $150 a month! * Instead of bringing my Polaris into Leslies Pool Retail 4 times a year, Robert found it was more to do with the pressure in the pool and corrected the issue. * I was so unhappy with my original pool remodeler that had re-surfaced my pool. I now have a 3rd rebar patch that is eating thru, since the re-plaster! It looks like a pool fire! I had started to interview more remodelers to correct the issue at a big price point. No need. Robert took care of the issue on his first visit. * My main concern was coming home and seeing white powder at the bottom of the pool. I thought the filter was spitting out DE. It was from the weekly chemical service I was using for the pool. They would leave clumps of Shock at the bottom of the pool producing excessive chlorine in the pool. This leads to the plaster eroding. * Windy River Pools have now converted my pool to a mineral pool (a little over $300). The pool uses very few chemicals, I did not need any additional equipment and you should see how clear the water is! Plus it is much more healthy to swim in. What an amazing change! * I always know when they have serviced my pool and what had been done to it with the following report below. Windy River Pool Company is in a class all to its own - like no other! And it is so much easier on the pool owner to have one contact to address all concerns.. at such a reasonable cost. To know my pool is consistently being cared for and any issues, like rebar coming thru, is addressed immediately is such a relief!
