He helped us arrive at a suitable energy-efficient Simonton models to replace 5 of our windows at a reasonable price. He also measured all the windows to be replaced and promptly provided a written quote. Three of our replacements were for original 30+ year-old single-hung windows which were no longer functional because their balances had failed. The replacement Simonton windows have a better design that obviates the need for such balances, which was of added value to me! The total window order, measured and made to order, was received by JWG within 3 weeks and installed within 1 week. JWG Windows arrived just minutes before the scheduled time for installation. We were fortunate to have a second installation crew (Alex and Ricky) join the first crew (EJ and Cody) during the installation process, which allowed the entire job to be done within 2.5 hours. These two teams operated smoothly together in good spirits, were respectful of our property (using drop cloths in each work area) and cleaned up the work areas. After they were installed, EJ demonstrated the windows' operating features, provided me with the manufacturer's warranty and answered my questions. The installation was quick, neat and attractive. About a month or two later, some of the insultation foam started to ooze out. Pelican responded immediately and remedied the problem. Based on this experience, I contracted with Pelican earlier this year to replace the remainder of my windows and all my sliding doors. The contracting process was smooth and the windows were ready in about four weeks. When it came time to install, Pelican arrived on time with four people. Every day of the installation (six total), there were at least four workers present. As before, they were neat, efficient and quick. Evan Wright, the owner, stopped by three times to make sure work was progressing appropriately. He even spent most of one day at the house supervision installation of a segmented kitchen bay window, which was tricky given the design and the existing granite countertop. While all of the crew members were great, Jorge, the boss was wonderful. He made sure to solicit our input as needed and kept us fully advised. I have recommended Pelican to others and they have reported the same experience. Pelican has my unqualified recommendation.

We hired Pelican Windows to replace approximately eight older windows in the home. To create a consistent appearance, the owner of the company suggested replacing several additional windows so they would all match. It is important to note that the original windows were functioning properly; the additional replacements were done strictly for aesthetic purposes. Shortly after the work was completed, we experienced a rainstorm and discovered that every one of the newly installed windows leaked. Prior to this installation, the home had never experienced any window leaks. We immediately contacted the owner of Pelican Windows and asked him to inspect the issue. During his visit, he looked at the windows and stated that it was simply a coincidence that all of the newly installed windows were leaking. We find this explanation unacceptable. The leaks began only after the installation of the new windows, and it is highly unlikely that multiple windows would suddenly begin leaking at the same time purely by coincidence. The issue appears directly related to the installation. At this time, the matter remains unresolved, and we are seeking a proper inspection and repair of the installation defects. We expect the company to take responsibility and correct the problem.

They came to make the measurement, determined the tint of the other windows to insure a match, and installed a replacement within ten days of taking the measurements.
