The most terrible experience I've encountered. The girls at the bar are extremely pretentious and rude. They act as if they really are special beings- just a reminder, your life consists of pouring drinks. That what you do and that'a all you do. If you're going to do something, do it well. When trying to order drinks, it's almost as if it's a pain for them. I felt like I was a bother and the girls were very unfriendly. The bald headed manager was in idiot as well. I watched as someone tried to pay with their card to one of the girls. Their transaction didn't go through, instead of telling the gentlemen that his card didn't work, the girl left the gentleman standing there, went and got her manager and left the scene. The manager then came and accused the gentlemen of trying to steal drinks with a fake card. The gentleman told him the card was perfectly fine and to try again. The manager told the gentleman that as a manager, he hears all kinds of excuses (which is both an accusation and an insult to the gentleman). The man tried again but only with the manager holding his card and the transaction went through. Instead of apologizing to the man, the manager gave him his card and walked away.
For a first time visit, I am completely disgusted with this place and I will never visit here again. The service industry has become a toxic workspace with self-entitled millennials who think they deserve tips as part of their job description. Customer service has fallen a ver long way down and it is such a heart ache to visit anywhere while trying to manage overly sensitive children in the service industry. Kelly's Landing lacks the desire to love people and does not enjoy the greatest honour in life- serving others with a smile. You may be new and have gone under renovations, but your customer service is what truly needs a makeover. If you look carefully through all of their good reviews, the good reviews are mainly given to professional reservations. This tells me that Kelly's Landing judges people by their appearance and visual stature. This is a shameful and is the grievous crime of partiality. If you don't know how to love people and understand the power of service, don't go in the service industry. This demographic of entitled brats continue to push the envelope of higher tip percentages, In 2017 we now have a minimum standard of a 20% tip percentage which is a blatant money grab and reflects what these people are in the service industry for- a pay check. read more
