I had the holy mackinaw which really is just Mac and cheese with chicken and bacon. I loved it. Cheese was definitely melted and the spices just worked. They used spiral pasta instead of the traditional macaroni shape. We were a large group so it took some time to get everyone's order. Glad we were able to get separate billing as they don't normally do it for large groups. Not many people during a Friday lunch time so the food actually came pretty quickly. It's a bit pricy due to its location but at least the food is good.

Visited on Sunday to watch the Canadian Grand Prix and it was packed which made it a great experience. Despite the crowds service as relatively smooth. The garlic bread and jalapeño dip were particularly tasty. Huge screens and the sound on; can't ask for much more.

Pretty cool spot to pregame before a game. We came here about 3 hours before a maple leafs vs kings game and it pretty much filled up with maple leafs fans by the time we left and there was still a long line waiting to get in. Huge screen in the middle and TVs all around showing different sports. Menu is only two pages, but they have a variety of sandwiches, burgers, Asian, nachos, and some vegan options, too. Good selection of drinks, too. I got the Taiwanese beef bowl and it was pretty good. Our server disappeared for a while, so that's why I took off a star. We flagged down another server and she was friendly and took our order. When our server was helping us, she was also friendly. Overall, it was a good experience and it is right next to the arena.

We didn't make reservation on a game night, but somehow the hostess sqeezed us in! I got the vegan Bahn Mi sandwich. It was tasty and fries were crispy and delicious. It was really cool to see all of the Maple Leaf jerseys.

I will get straight to the point. Came here with my family. One of my family members has an anaphylactic peanut and tree nut allergy. When requesting to speak to a manager regarding menu items and which have any of the following in the ingredients, or which have come in contact with any of the following, they recommended ONLY A BURGER and to substitute the bun with lettuce so it can resemble a burger, and seriously had the nerve to charge $2 for the slice of lettuce. It's the principle that something like that shows poor ethics on the behalf of its staff to charge someone with an anaphylactic allergy to replace a menu item, as they're the ones who offered to change the burger bun for the lettuce. Not only is this poor practice on the behalf of a business, this restaurant lacks knowledge in addressing COMMON food allergies with their employees and kitchen staff. It's unfortunate that a restaurant of this size, doesn't take allergies seriously. On top of that, they charged $25 for a glass of Sauvignon Blanc ! I dine very frequently at high end restaurants and have never been charged over $20 for a glass. I will never return here and I hope anyone with such an allergy, understands that this isn't a place that will take your allergy into consideration.

Great place to catch a raptors game. Real Sports is probably your most typical place to watch either a leafs or raptors game and for good reason. Really large main TV and a ton of secondary TVs scattered around the place. Ordered the 6ix Burger (23). Pretty solid. Kind of what you expect for a pub-style burger. This came absolutely loaded with fries though. Really, a crazy amount. Which is great throughout the game to just snack on after finishing the burger. Service is good and viewing experience is excellent for games. You can make a reservation on their website if you want to guarantee a spot too which is convenient.

The service was excellent even on a busy pregame for a raptors game. The Korean sliders and nachos were excellent. Love all the TVs so you can watch every sporting event. The restaurant is a bit loud but the ambiance fits its image

Ambiance, GREAT place for sports fans #TorontoMapleLeafs FOOD average, I ordered the FISH sandwich but I had to take it apart as the bread became soggy (I don't like wet bread) The tacos, not so great as the tortillas felt cold and dry. SERVICE not sure, he was good but not phenomenal. cost AVERAGE in comparison to other sports bars.

Amazing sports bar located right by the Scotiabank arena. Tons of TVs and incredible food. Slow service but they were friendly and accommodating. the wings were definitely a hit and the salad and sliders did not disappoint! It was the perfect place to watch the NHL thursday festivities and all-star draft.

Literally 4 staff standing at the front, standing around....noone asking people if they have reservations or if they're in the right line. Very frustrating at the crappy customer service right off the bat. Like, seriously? This is a lot of wage dollars spent on turning people OFF. PUMP money into the downtown core? *Rant rant* Okay, now for the food and server! Amazing server! She made up for the grumpy start with her 'I'll make sure you're not late for the show' attitude! The eggplant parmesan sandwich was amazing! The other dishes were very soso. Great atmosphere, best place to catch a game! But seriously, train up your front of house staff!

First I have to say this wasn't our first time here and after our experience on New Years Day, before the Dave Chapelle show it won't be our last! We had reservations which was a plus (we often stand for walk in). High table behind the booths near the big screen and the view was perfect. Our waitress Emily was AMAZING. She was so personable, attentive and overall incredible. Two of us enjoyed the vegan burger and it was delicious as always. Side of fries is a must here (and I'm not a fry person but definitely enjoy them here). Our other friend (who hadn't been here before) had the Nashville chicken sandwich with poutine and she mentioned both were great. In fact at one point said, you know the food is good when no one is talking! We look forward to getting back there again soon before a raptors game (I'd say leaf game but does anyone cheer for them anymore?! KIDDING!) Thanks again (and special thanks to Emily!)

It's a sports bar. TVs and giant projectors everywhere but a modern design all around. Burgers were amazing. Seasoned just right and jucy. Trophy Burger is 2 × 50 day aged smash patties, young mimolette cheese, aged golden blythe, bacon jam, beef brother bacon, truffle aiolo, baby arugula, and hot house tomato, all on a brioche bun. A combo that is so subtly sweet and very savory. Not a bite wasn't beefy bacon goodness with that truffle and tomato hinting their way in with every bite. A very filling Burger for its relatively small stature. Fries seem fresh cut and where crispy. Mini burgers with maple bacon where perfect. All right infront of Scotiabank Arena. Very nice

The Loose Moose looked like a great place to grab dinner, drinks and watch the hockey game. We were so right! After ordering drinks, Megan (aka 330M) came over to get our food order and she was high energy and we could tell we were going to have fun. She took our orders and got our drinks. Each time she came back we had some laughs. My wife's Mexican bowl came back minus the requested chicken. Megan took care of this in no time and comp'd it for the mistake. WOW - you don't see that kind of service any more. Our food (mine was a chicken avocado club) was hot and so good. We opt'd for the sweet potato fries and Megan said it was a good choice. She was so right - they were excellent. Megan and her partners kept our drinks filled and made sure everything was great. The bar was packed with sports fans and folks coming in out of the cold but we never felt crowded. You could tell this is a popular bar with the locals - always a good sign. Thanks to Megan and the Staff, we had a fun time and awesome meal. If we weren't heading home tomorrow, we would definitely go back again. We highly recommend the Loose Moose for its great food, drinks and Staff. Cheers, L&J Henderson NV USA

Despite it being busy because the Blue Jays just finished a close game, there was plenty of room for me and my family. Five minutes go by and suddenly the waitress (who is super nice by the way) brought us FREE appetizers! They consisted of carrots, celery, and crackers finished off with ranch dressing. As soon as I finished off the free appetizer the main course came. I order grilled salmon with fries. I put the fork in. I lifted some salmon to my mouth. And it was IMMACULATE it was so good that I finished it and ordered a second one immediately! Once I prepared to leave the waitress brought over FREE ice cream sandwiches! Our server was not attentive what so ever, he took quite a while to even take our order and at one point we had to wave him down. I ordered the Steak & Prawns but it definitely lacked flavours. Where I know the server was not being attentive was when I had asked for medium well and it came out medium rare. The prawns were garlicky and flavourful but the steak was definitely underwhelming. We also ordered the Nachos with Chicken (chicken was extremely bland), Calamari (nothing special), Parm fries (probably best thing I had), and the Trio Dip (which was alright). Overall was a mid experience and not sure I would come back, after the way we were treated. 5.5/10 Recommend!

Beertown occupies a commanding footprint in Toronto's Financial District -- a sprawling,…read moreenergetically lit gastropub that announces itself with a theatre of gleaming taps and an open, convivial floor plan designed unapologetically for the after-work crowd. It is, in many respects, exactly what it intends to be: a loud, generous, unpretentious haven for those emerging from Bay Street offices or rallying before a Scotiabank Arena event. The beer programme is the undisputed centerpiece. The selection is vast and thoughtfully curated, spanning local GTA craft offerings alongside storied European imports such as Erdinger and La Trappe. Flights arrive on paddles with coasters identifying each pour -- a charming detail that rewards the curious drinker. One could spend an entire evening simply navigating the rotating taps, and many regulars do precisely that. The kitchen delivers pub fare that, while familiar in concept. Service is warm and attentive on its best evenings, with staff who clearly understand the rhythm of a busy house. However, during peak hours the pace can stretch thin, and a lapse in table attention can surface. The noise level is considerable -- an unavoidable consequence of the venue's scale and popularity. Those seeking quiet conversation will find it a challenge; those seeking energy and the communal hum of a city unwinding will feel entirely at home. For the corporate denizen of the Financial District, or the sports fan looking for a spirited pre-game gathering point, Beertown is a reliable and genuinely enjoyable destination. The beer alone is worth the visit.

Thankfully somehow they did and we sat down to order. I'm not sure if it was our server's break but a couple of other servers came to check on us but couldn't (wouldn't?) take our order until our actual server arrived a while later, which was maybe 20 minutes or so. Not deterred, as we were hungry and thirsty - we ordered the giant beer paddles for our table to share and also a few apps. The beer arrived warm quite a while later and also only had the breweries names on the coasters, not the actual name of the beer so we guessed on a few. The apps were not memorable and were only warmish - so was not blown away. Too bad as the location nearer to me in Oakville was much better in terms of food and service. Even though my office is steps away, I wouldn't rush back.
