Personal non-professional opinion, represents my personal opinion/experience only.
The vehicle looked great at first. We would eventually find out that the car had multiple oil leaks & an exhaust hanging on by rust alone, the fasteners broke apart when touched. In addition, battery was testing bad, oil was initially overfilled, passenger side front sub-frame/rear exhaust manifold greatly rusted, broken fuel/brake line clip, oxygen senor appears burnt, flywheel dust cover missing & multiple seals (intake upper/lower, valve covers, oil pan and spark tube seals) leaking.
In addition, the flywheel inspection/dust cover was missing. Oil was initially overfilled. At least one of the exhaust manifolds is rusted badly and will need to be taken care of soon, which right now we do not have the money to do so. However, we received an online estimate (parts/labor) for the exhaust manifold of $1300.
So would I buy from him again, not likely. Now they have a 3 day buy back period, but this realistically is not long enough of a return period. No working adult is going to be able to take multiple days off of work, to get a car inspected and then return it. You would likely need to take all 3 days off in a row to go through this process. A week return period would be a more realistic/reasonable approach, if they wanted this return period to really mean anything and many other dealers do a week long buyback period.
They don't have any additional fees, but they seem to be priced in the higher range on most of their vehicles. And when you take into account of the potential repairs that at least ours needed, their vehicles are way overpriced. My suggestion, get a Pre-Purchase Inspection on any vehicle bought here and make sure that mechanic goes over everything. read more
