I only came along for moral support and to give her a ride to pick up her beautiful new car. While there, I just mentioned that I would like to find a car to just "beat around town" in....something not very expensive but nice. I told him to keep me in mind if he ever runs across anything interesting. All while "closing the sale" with my daughter, Dylan "heard" my need. Once he had finished the purchasing details of his sale with my daughter and she was in with the Finance Manager, Dylan began really listening to me and answering all of my questions patiently and thoroughly, and he took the time to understand what I was looking for in a car. Within 24 hours I was getting a ride from my daughter to finalize paperwork to purchase my "new to me" Toyota. Dylan was very patient and understanding throughout the entire car buying process. He didn't pressure me into buying a car that I didn't want, and he was willing to work with me to find the best possible deal. I also appreciated the fact that Dylan was always available to answer my questions after I purchased my VERY nice 2013 Toyota VENZA. He has been quick to respond to my emails and phone calls, and always willing to help me out with anything I needed. Overall, I had a fantastic experience buying a car from Dylan Wilcox of Mike Johnson Toyota. He was professional, knowledgeable, and patient, and he made the entire process a pleasure. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to buy a new or used car.

That is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the quality and inspection of the vehicles they sell. A major component like a transmission does not just fail overnight without warning. This makes me question whether the dealership knew about the issue or failed to properly inspect the vehicle before selling it. Now I'm stuck facing thousands of dollars in repairs on a truck I just bought. I trusted this dealership and feel completely let down. Spending this much money, only to have the vehicle become unreliable almost immediately, has been a terrible and stressful experience. I strongly encourage anyone considering buying from here to be extremely cautious and have any vehicle independently inspected before purchasing.

The car we bought was spotless and detailed very nicely. The showroom and parking lot is clean and inviting. Lots of really nice cars in there. The day we visited they had the grand opening of the diecast store inside. That place is cool. Many, many great diecast vehicles and other machines. It's a neat tie-in that is logical for the car dealer. Why not five stars? Because though we were assured that the car had been looked at closely and driven on the highway, we noticed a sound while driving it home. That didn't show up during the round the block test drive. Perhaps if that test drive had turned left we would have noticed. There was a small issue with some of the fender liner on the front passenger wheel-well that would only touch the tire when high-speed air forced it back onto the tire or during a heavy left turn. I've fixed the issue, and I'm grateful that it wasn't major because I had already bought the car as-is. It's a reminder that we need to be hyper-detailed when looking at/driving cars, either in-person or remotely.

The sales person was helpful at that point. I requested an inspection and the salesperson suggested we come up with an agreed price first. I was ok with this. We talked over the phone and I offered 32500 for a vehicle listed at 33500 which is more than fair. The sales person said "why that amount" or something to that effect and I responded and said "because thats what I want to pay right now". He said "well I'm sure you'd want to pay 20k" and laughed. Then he claimed I owed sales tax even though I told him I live in a tax free state. We went back and forth over text and I told this person it was rude. I asked for the manager. He called me and tried to make it right. He was overall very nice but something stuck out to me. I asked for a best price and he sent me the exact price on the site with a dealer fee. No discount whatsoever and backed it up with the work they did to the truck prior to the sale and the fact that they are a "non negotiable dealership". Thats very strange to me. They arent Carmax nor do they have have it listed on their site about this. I still wanted the truck but this whole experience sat with me and im not spending a dime of my money towards a dealership who employs rude people as the manager said "hes young and hes said things before" and doesnt want to budge at all on their price after a fair offer was made. I thought others may want to read about my experience when ready to spend cash and buy a vehicle at almost the listed price.

The price on the vehicle was 9984 and I offered 8500 realizing that there would be a counter from them. Much to my surprise the sales guy comes back with a counter offer of 15,370 over 50% mark up from what it was listed for online and on the window. Who does business like this? I was so offended by this that I walked straight out the door. Never will I ever go to this company again. They need to fire their finance manager... Unless they can afford to loose guaranteed sales.

The 2017 Ford F150 that I wanted to look at was in Mooresville but before the salesman & I could go see the truck I had to sign papers to buy the truck. That should've gave me a warning but the truck looked nice on the computer I asked about any problems, any wrecks , about the tires & if it had a warranty. I was told that Randy Marion does an extensive inspection on all vehicles that they sale & I had a 3 mo or 3000 mile warranty if ANYTHING goes wrong it would be fixed free of charge. When I got to Mooresville to see the truck I noticed the front tires were wore on the outside of the tire I asked was the truck out of line & I thought the tires wasn't good enough. I was told about the wonderful inspection they do so it wasn't out of line & I wasn't offered to change tires. The next morning I couldn't get the remote start to work so I texted the salesman. His boss called and said that wasn't covered in the warranty he could pay for getting it tested to see what the problem was but he couldn't pay for fixing it. If they did an extension inspection the mechanic should have known the remote start didn't work. Thiis truck wasn't cheap & All the FEES I WAS'NT TOLD ABOUT OMG the amount financed was 27,000. So if you decide on getting a vehicle from Randy Marion make sure everything works cause once you sign papers or drive it off the lot your screwed if something is wrong with it . They will tell you "ITS NOT COVERED WITH THE WARRANTY ". I M REGRETTING BUYING FROM THIS LOT!!!! Go SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Getting the vehicle repaired is nearly impossible unless you're prepared to waste hours sitting at the dealership. They claim they can only offer a rental once they diagnose the issue. That's convenient. How many visits do you need to diagnose the same issue? I work full-time and have a small child to care for -- I cannot keep returning again and again for the SAME issue, and I don't have the option of going without transportation. There is no way this car ever passed a true "certified pre-owned" inspection. They sold me a vehicle with obvious, ongoing issues -- and when I asked them to buy it back, they said they would, but only if I agreed to roll over $3,600 in negative equity. In other words, I get punished for their dishonesty. And the kicker? A manager actually tried to persuade me to remove my last 1-star review in exchange for a free oil change. How about FIXING MY CAR instead of bribing customers to stay quiet? I'll make sure everyone I know hears about my experience and why they should avoid this place. I'll also share it across every platform I can. I've always stuck with Toyota, but I made the mistake of giving Hendrick a chance -- never again.
