Well long story short the dealership called me and ask what they could do to resolve this problem if I would take down the bad review. I told them not until they pay for the motor in the bad car they sold me. They should have known about this car before they sold it to me and knowed they had bad motor. About a month ago my friend made an offer on a 2020 Subaru that had already been on the lot for a month. An amount was agreed upon, dependent on the trade-in offer for her car. To hold the car, they requested and she provided a $100 deposit. One day later, she presented her car for assessment/offer. A deal was struck, including her trade in. The finance department tried but failed to obtain financing for her- this was the same day she brought in her trade, and 1 day after placing the deposit. The only reason she did not buy the car was failure to obtain financing. Yet in-spite of this reason and the brevity of the hold, this dealership chose to keep her deposit. They have every right to do so, and I have every right to warn potential customers what kind of management you will be dealing with. That car remains for sale on their lot today. I can't help but wonder how many offers on the car they received but had to turn down during the 24 hours that they held the car. Likely zero. Had she obtained financing but then backed out, that would be a different thing. Our sales rep Nick was fantastic to deal with and has no ability to change this seedy policy. One star given due to our sales rep, and one star for the efforts of the finance department. Zero stars for management and for common sense. There are plenty of alternatives for finding a used car- I recommend taking them.

They had it towed to their business, had it checked out and then confirmed it was the transmission. They had it fixed for us. We went and picked it up and it drove great until my grand daughter totaled it a week later. I keep checking their site hoping they will get something at my price point by the time my insurance check comes. I would buy another one from them. This is a really stand up business.

We looked for a long time before we found the vehicle we wanted, having strict criteria to combat the sometimes less than certain history of a pre-owned vehicle. The sales team was courteous, clear on the end pricing structure and as an added benefit, ended up beating out even our credit union for financing. We wanted an independent mechanic to look over the vehicle, They were absolutely fine about that. We felt them to be forthright & clear. We discovered a minor problem 2 days after the sale and contacted them. Though they had no legal obligation to do so, they fixed the door lock. We were impressed by that and it is the reason for this review. Vehicles are a big financial commitment these days and that was impressive; so impressive that I wanted to share our experience.

So beware shop else where do not wast your time. I wonder if the fact i am disabled change there approval. The dealership website listed all the standard features (two of which were top of our priority list in our car search - blind spot monitor and rear traffic alert). There was no mention anywhere of any missing standard features. Only after buying the car and driving it home did we think these features were not working. After double checking the window sticker, which did have them listed under the Standard Features, but in the Packages & Options section of the sticker it notes the car was NOT equipped with these features. We contacted our salesperson, Fox, to ask about these missing features and got absolutely nothing but empty apologies. He said if he'd known they were important to us, he would have mentioned they were not included. He knew we were driving over an hour to get the car - and they are STANDARD features - why would a customer need to ask to double check that standard issue safety features are included, especially if they're listed on the dealers own website? The car drives nice but I'm extremely upset that two important safety features are missing and the dealer is all too happy to have our money and not interested in doing anything more than saying "oh, sorry". Return business and word of mouth business - that apparently means nothing to this dealership. I wish I'd seen the other reviews here before going there. Apparently many other VW dealerships in the Charlotte area are way better. Live and learn for us, and I hope these reviews help you avoid the lack of customer care at Paramount. Go elsewhere.
