Bottom text was last communication before that Wednesday

Had an appointment set up for a 2015 jaguar f-type to get a pre-purchase inspection on 12/18/24. I made the appointment five days in advance with Parker Howell. I left work early and fought through traffic which was pain staking to get there, just to be told Parker is off and they sold the car that morning. Why agree to have the car at location and ready if you're not even working or inform a fellow colleague of the appointment, or have the decency to call to inform a potential buyer that it sold? To add icing on the cake Parker had recently sold my uncle a GMC Terrain which was a POS nothing but problems. Which I was willing to overlook ya can't win them all I understand. Dealership lacks integrity! What's new car salesman can't make an honest living. Edit: Not upset the car sold, disappointed with how the situation was handled.

I purchased a vehicle from here back in 2014 from AJ Bazzle which lasted me a VERY long time, and the price tag was perfect. The car was just as good as new. So when I came into a little bit of a bind here recently in 2024, ten years later, I walked into this business with NO credit, NO down payment, and NO vehicle because mine had unfortunately been totaled. However, the entire team is still just as fantastic as they were ten years ago! Andrew Varga and Danny were our sales people, but my shoutout SPECIFICALLY goes to Andrew... Who sat through everything with me, from my mood swings to my stubbornness because I wasn't able to get into the vehicle I wanted at this time due to my credit issues, HOWEVER, he was still able to put me into a vehicle that was in my budget when other dealerships told me NO! He was totally calm, cool and collected- even when I wasn't being the nicest! He has a lot of patience. Losing a vehicle is one thing, but finding one is another- and finding a dealership that is willing to work with you regardless because they take your situation to heart and SHOW that they care and want to help, means the WORLD! I didn't want this vehicle at all, but I'm growing to love it, and I'm incredibly happy with the interest rate and payments. They will definitely be seeing us back in the future when we build our credit back up enough again to buy the vehicle we want! I don't think anyone else in Hickory deserves our business, but they definitely do. I have no doubt in my mind that this car will last us a very long time, just like the first one. I'm still so happy with my experience here and I couldn't be more grateful for their help!

The most perfect car ever to exist, the end.

Drove like 2 1/2 hours from outta state to purchase my first vehicle at a car lot from these fine people. The car was exactly as pictured and as they had described it. They worked with any questions I had about the buying process or the vehicle itself, and they were all exceptionally kind and helpful, even the other workers past the salesman i dealt with. Shoutout to Andrew and James you guys rock

The car after the accident. It would probably cost about 300.00 dollars to finish fixing it because I have already had a lot done to repair.

I bought a car there in May of 2024. My initial Encounter was excellent but in August I was in an accident that caused me to go into a spin and slide off the road down a 15 foot bank and into a creek. The accident was caused by a lug nut caught between the brake caliper and rotor on the passenger side, front wheel. The officer at the scene, said that he couldn't understand what happened to cause the accident. It was later when my car was brought home and put into the shop that they found the lug nut and the mechanic said that the accident was probably caused by the lug nut between the brake caliper and rotor. I called the car lot to tell them about it, hoping that they would help me with repairs to the car at a reasonable price and I was told that they were sorry that it happened. Now my niece bought a car from them yesterday and picked the car up at 4 pm in the afternoon and drove the car home. On her way to work this morning, the car started to stop on her and when she tried to press the gas, the RPM went up and down but the car wouldn't go anywhere. The steering is also acting up and it feels like the wheel is out of balance. When she called the dealership, they said that they would call her back and it's been several hours and she hasn't heard from them. Be very careful if you buy a car from them or are considering buying a car from them. They're just out to move inventory, not to satisfy the customer. I gave them 2 stars because my salesman was very nice and people were helpful at my first visit but I wouldn't have given them any stars.

I truley believe Michs buys vehicles that have alot of issues, they put some "lipstick" on it and then they sell it. Shortly after you buy it, everything starts going wrong. They do offer a warranty. However, it typically does not cover whatever your vehicles issues are. At this point my best option is to park the POS and pay down on it until I can trade it. I will never deal with Michs again. Our 2019 740i has had over $13k in repairs since it was bought 6 months ago. That is not an exaggeration. If you buy a car from them, I would suggest at minimum looking at the CARFAX, and then take it to a trusted mechanic and have them go over it, before you buy (something my dumbass didnt do). Michs has a great setup, they make money from selling you a car, then make even more money from fixing it! Hell of a business model. Time to call the BBB.

Getting the vehicle repaired is nearly impossible unless you're prepared to waste hours sitting at the dealership. They claim they can only offer a rental once they diagnose the issue. That's convenient. How many visits do you need to diagnose the same issue? I work full-time and have a small child to care for -- I cannot keep returning again and again for the SAME issue, and I don't have the option of going without transportation. There is no way this car ever passed a true "certified pre-owned" inspection. They sold me a vehicle with obvious, ongoing issues -- and when I asked them to buy it back, they said they would, but only if I agreed to roll over $3,600 in negative equity. In other words, I get punished for their dishonesty. And the kicker? A manager actually tried to persuade me to remove my last 1-star review in exchange for a free oil change. How about FIXING MY CAR instead of bribing customers to stay quiet? I'll make sure everyone I know hears about my experience and why they should avoid this place. I'll also share it across every platform I can. I've always stuck with Toyota, but I made the mistake of giving Hendrick a chance -- never again.

Next day turbo code comes on, po299 turbo under boost. I take it back to them under there 30 days 1000 mile warranty. Did not like the customer relations guy at Tech 3-there repair shop. The lady upfront at tech 3 was very professional and well liked. After being lied to from the customer relations guy at Tech 3-he said turbo wasn't working because engine was 2 quarts low-what a lie....turbo is fed oil from oil filter, secondly the car can't tell its 2 quarts low on oil, only that its really low on oil. Needless to say, a week and half later they bring the car to the dealership with the same check engine light for turbo boost low, and my bluetooth system is no longer functioning properly since they took car for the week and half. During the time in the shop, they said they replaced the turbo and supposedly a pcm. During pickup at week and half, the turbo was not new, and salesman stated they put a used $500 turbo on......there $500 on amazon new with 2 year warranty. So to sum this after two weeks of buying a car, they've made bluetooth not work properly, didnt fix turbo issue, very suspicious of the CEL being shorted out during first 3 days of having car-per my scanner, being lied to constantly by either corporate office finance manager or guys at tech 3 shop, and last but not least, they have no loaner cars for when your cars in there suspicious shop. I just like others expect truthfullness, and for them not to be shady.

The car we bought was spotless and detailed very nicely. The showroom and parking lot is clean and inviting. Lots of really nice cars in there. The day we visited they had the grand opening of the diecast store inside. That place is cool. Many, many great diecast vehicles and other machines. It's a neat tie-in that is logical for the car dealer. Why not five stars? Because though we were assured that the car had been looked at closely and driven on the highway, we noticed a sound while driving it home. That didn't show up during the round the block test drive. Perhaps if that test drive had turned left we would have noticed. There was a small issue with some of the fender liner on the front passenger wheel-well that would only touch the tire when high-speed air forced it back onto the tire or during a heavy left turn. I've fixed the issue, and I'm grateful that it wasn't major because I had already bought the car as-is. It's a reminder that we need to be hyper-detailed when looking at/driving cars, either in-person or remotely.

We talked over the phone and I offered 32500 for a vehicle listed at 33500 which is more than fair. The sales person said "why that amount" or something to that effect and I responded and said "because thats what I want to pay right now". He said "well I'm sure you'd want to pay 20k" and laughed. Then he claimed I owed sales tax even though I told him I live in a tax free state. We went back and forth over text and I told this person it was rude. I asked for the manager. He called me and tried to make it right. He was overall very nice but something stuck out to me. I asked for a best price and he sent me the exact price on the site with a dealer fee. No discount whatsoever and backed it up with the work they did to the truck prior to the sale and the fact that they are a "non negotiable dealership". Thats very strange to me. They arent Carmax nor do they have have it listed on their site about this. I still wanted the truck but this whole experience sat with me and im not spending a dime of my money towards a dealership who employs rude people as the manager said "hes young and hes said things before" and doesnt want to budge at all on their price after a fair offer was made. I thought others may want to read about my experience when ready to spend cash and buy a vehicle at almost the listed price.

They were able to replace the car at no extra cost to us, in fact we will get some money back because the first Taos had specialty paint and rearview mirror, which made a standard issue SE with the Blind Spot Monitoring and Rear Traffic Alert vehicle less expensive. I could not have asked for a better response, and while our sales person wasn't able to make this happen, he put us in contact with Rudi the very next day when Rudi was back in the office. Other than feeling unheard when I expressed my discontent over the missing features, everything about our experience with Paramount was very good. The initial shopping and purchase process of the car was smooth and the lengths they went to to make it right give us confidence in updating our review to 5 stars and recommending Paramount Volkswagen. ~~~ We bought a 2024 Taos SE this past Friday 7/12. The dealership website listed all the standard features (two of which were top of our priority list in our car search - blind spot monitor and rear traffic alert). There was no mention anywhere of any missing standard features. Only after buying the car and driving it home did we think these features were not working. After double checking the window sticker, which did have them listed under the Standard Features, but in the Packages & Options section of the sticker it notes the car was NOT equipped with these features. We contacted our salesperson, Fox, to ask about these missing features and got absolutely nothing but empty apologies. He said if he'd known they were important to us, he would have mentioned they were not included. He knew we were driving over an hour to get the car - and they are STANDARD features - why would a customer need to ask to double check that standard issue safety features are included, especially if they're listed on the dealers own website? The car drives nice but I'm extremely upset that two important safety features are missing and the dealer is all too happy to have our money and not interested in doing anything more than saying "oh, sorry". Return business and word of mouth business - that apparently means nothing to this dealership. I wish I'd seen the other reviews here before going there.
