I got a good price on line and made an appointment. Within thirty minutes, I left with a check. A pleasant experience given a car sale.

I truley believe Michs buys vehicles that have alot of issues, they put some "lipstick" on it and then they sell it. Shortly after you buy it, everything starts going wrong. They do offer a warranty. However, it typically does not cover whatever your vehicles issues are. At this point my best option is to park the POS and pay down on it until I can trade it. I will never deal with Michs again. Our 2019 740i has had over $13k in repairs since it was bought 6 months ago. That is not an exaggeration. If you buy a car from them, I would suggest at minimum looking at the CARFAX, and then take it to a trusted mechanic and have them go over it, before you buy (something my dumbass didnt do). Michs has a great setup, they make money from selling you a car, then make even more money from fixing it! Hell of a business model. Time to call the BBB.

About a month ago my friend made an offer on a 2020 Subaru that had already been on the lot for a month. An amount was agreed upon, dependent on the trade-in offer for her car. To hold the car, they requested and she provided a $100 deposit. One day later, she presented her car for assessment/offer. A deal was struck, including her trade in. The finance department tried but failed to obtain financing for her- this was the same day she brought in her trade, and 1 day after placing the deposit. The only reason she did not buy the car was failure to obtain financing. Yet in-spite of this reason and the brevity of the hold, this dealership chose to keep her deposit. They have every right to do so, and I have every right to warn potential customers what kind of management you will be dealing with. That car remains for sale on their lot today. I can't help but wonder how many offers on the car they received but had to turn down during the 24 hours that they held the car. Likely zero. Had she obtained financing but then backed out, that would be a different thing. Our sales rep Nick was fantastic to deal with and has no ability to change this seedy policy. One star given due to our sales rep, and one star for the efforts of the finance department. Zero stars for management and for common sense. There are plenty of alternatives for finding a used car- I recommend taking them.

While they had it they did a multipoint inspection on it and Surprise, Surprise, Surprise as Gomer Pyle would say, found multiple things "wrong" with it to the tune of $922 in parts and labor including telling us the transmission fluid was brown and needed servicing. My wife said "Really? My husband just serviced the transmission less than a month ago" and at that point the service advisor started back peddling saying maybe it just looked that way because of the lighting! LMFAO!! I knew it was coming, as soon as we turned them down for the repairs, the high-pressure sales pitch started. Nothing will turn me off faster or lose my business quicker than someone pressuring me to buy something once I have already told them NO! Besides everything on the list IF it needed to be done I or my mechanic could have done it for a fraction of the price that Hendrick Honda wanted to charge to do it. Plus now we are getting letters in the mail at least once a week reminding us that "we need to schedule an appointment for our urgently needed repairs" I wonder how long we are going to continue to get these letters before they finally realize that we are not bringing the car back there ever again for any reason! I pulled the transmission dipstick after we got home and that was the reddest "brown" transmission fluid I have ever seen!! These dealerships will flat out lie to your face to try and make a buck. I may have been born at night, but not last night! Two stars only because the service advisor did reset our radio theft security code and set the time without charging us which shocked the hell out of me!

First day driving off the lot, check engine light popped on and then started to flicker like crazy…read more The CEL light had been "shorted" out somehow causing a check engine code for that circuit and a po420. Next day turbo code comes on, po299 turbo under boost. I take it back to them under there 30 days 1000 mile warranty. Did not like the customer relations guy at Tech 3-there repair shop. The lady upfront at tech 3 was very professional and well liked. After being lied to from the customer relations guy at Tech 3-he said turbo wasn't working because engine was 2 quarts low-what a lie....turbo is fed oil from oil filter, secondly the car can't tell its 2 quarts low on oil, only that its really low on oil. Needless to say, a week and half later they bring the car to the dealership with the same check engine light for turbo boost low, and my bluetooth system is no longer functioning properly since they took car for the week and half. During the time in the shop, they said they replaced the turbo and supposedly a pcm. During pickup at week and half, the turbo was not new, and salesman stated they put a used $500 turbo on......there $500 on amazon new with 2 year warranty. So to sum this after two weeks of buying a car, they've made bluetooth not work properly, didnt fix turbo issue, very suspicious of the CEL being shorted out during first 3 days of having car-per my scanner, being lied to constantly by either corporate office finance manager or guys at tech 3 shop, and last but not least, they have no loaner cars for when your cars in there suspicious shop. I just like others expect truthfullness, and for them not to be shady.

The car we bought was spotless and detailed very nicely. The showroom and parking lot is clean and inviting. Lots of really nice cars in there. The day we visited they had the grand opening of the diecast store inside. That place is cool. Many, many great diecast vehicles and other machines. It's a neat tie-in that is logical for the car dealer. Why not five stars? Because though we were assured that the car had been looked at closely and driven on the highway, we noticed a sound while driving it home. That didn't show up during the round the block test drive. Perhaps if that test drive had turned left we would have noticed. There was a small issue with some of the fender liner on the front passenger wheel-well that would only touch the tire when high-speed air forced it back onto the tire or during a heavy left turn. I've fixed the issue, and I'm grateful that it wasn't major because I had already bought the car as-is. It's a reminder that we need to be hyper-detailed when looking at/driving cars, either in-person or remotely.

I brought the car in at the exact time we discussed and immediately got a red flag. The advisor (not who I spoke to on the phone) told me he put me down for the day before but they "could take care of me today". Somehow "Lotus Evora with door latch issue" got lost in translation from my phone call and they thought I was bringing in a Toyota sienna minivan with a sliding door issue. After much confusion from the other workers Jonathan said he'll take a look at the latch and see what he can do. They kept my car for an hour and came back and told me they couldn't do anything and that I need a new latch. They said they'd call me back with a part number and charged me 200 dollars for their "work" and information I already knew. It has been 13 days and I haven't heard from them, and the door latch issue was actually made worse by them. Avoid this place at all costs. As a bonus my car is listed as an "Elise" on the service notes, so it really seems like they have no idea what they're doing.
