We got the lobster AYCE for $125pp and they had so much variety and everything was made fresh to order. The portion sizes were generous and the quality of the seafood was great. I love the flavors of everything we got. The service was also amazing! So quick and efficient. My faves: - Fried Sea Bass w. Sweet Chili Sauce - Old Bay Shrimp - Pan Seared Fresh Jumbo Scallop - Shrimp w. Cajun Butter Sauce

The AYCE menu includes a variety of items including appetizers (broccoli, calamari, corn, iron steak, crab rangoon, clam chowder, fried rice, garlic noodles, chicken wings, spareribs, general Tso's chicken, spring rolls, edamame, french fries, and more) and main seafood entrees (steamed or hand breaded shrimp, blue crab, dungeness crab, snow crab legs, crawfish, salmon, seabass, mussels, steamed clams, raw oysters and clams, and more). The items I would recommend the most are iron steak, crab rangoon, blue crab, snow crab legs, and crawfish. The seafood is fresh, and if you love seafood, this AYCE meal is a good value for the variety and amount you get. There is no limit to how much you can order at a time; you can order as many rounds as you'd like. Service: Service is excellent here; staff are friendly and very attentive. They come to check on you throughout the meal and clear empty dishes. Food comes out very quickly after you place an order. The staff are also nice about giving you another menu to place another order. They are generous with their portions and food unlike other AYCE places that seem to not want you to order as much. Ambiance: The restaurant is big and spacious; seating is comfortable. There are tables and booths that can accommodate both small and large groups. The restaurant is kept clean, and the decor is very nice. During the warmer months, there's outdoor seating in Mongolian-style tents on the patio that overlooks Surf Avenue and Luna Park. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant if you like seafood!

The location is…read moredefinitely a highlight, right by the water, and I can already picture how lovely this spot must be in the summer. We would absolutely love to come back when the weather is warm. The service was impeccable. Our server was very attentive and made sure we were well taken care of all evening. Now, let's get to the food. I started with the Caesar salad, but the dressing was a bit too anchovy forward for my taste, so I didn't really enjoy it. My husband had the lobster bisque. It was very creamy, but there was hardly any lobster in it. We both ordered the grilled octopus. I wasn't a fan, but my husband enjoyed it, especially paired with the lime based slaw. On the side, we ordered the fried calamari, which was one of the highlights. The calamari was tender, and the sauce really made the dish. For our main entrées, I had the whole lobster, which unfortunately was overcooked and lacked flavor. My husband ordered the snow crab legs and really enjoyed them. Dessert was the best part of the evening. I had the red velvet cake and he had the key lime pie. Hands down my favorite dish of the night. I'm not sure if the experience was impacted by Restaurant Week, but between the beautiful location and great service, I'm willing to give Nick's Lobster another try, especially during the summer.

That was a year ago and the food remains on my mind. The service is perfect Beverly and the other waitresses came over to check on us often. We drank. We laughed and oh boy did we eat. I had the chicken chunks fried with bone w/ tostones and a side of garlic sauce. I stole a shrimp off one plate and a corn from another, finally a spoon of mash and I was spent. At the end of the night Rey came over with a hookah and it was perfect! We danced in our seats and at the end of the night we made sure to thank everyone for a wonderful evening. The food was delicious. The drinks were boss! If you want seafood you have to go next door and order then bring it to your seat. They call you when it's ready to be picked up. We didn't mind that at all. It was worth it. Every thing is made with love. Please go it really feels like a homely spot. You won't be sorry - promise

A deep dish aluminum pan filled with shrimp, lobster tails, corn and potatoes was good NOT great. The seafood was a tad bit bland. The shrimps were large but a bit undercooked for my liking. I ordered some sort of side sauce but that was also lacking. It didn't taste like anything- no spice, no buttery flavors. Nothing. Big plus was the amount of food that you get for your money. I would get food from Puerto Plata but in person. I believe that if I'm present to tell the cook just how I want my food seasoned and prepared, I'll have a greater taste experience.

They even offered a complimentary bottle of wine and a few small appetizer dishes, which was a very nice touch. It's a seafood restaurant and seafood is clearly their specialty. They also have a live seafood market, so we were able to pick our own seafood. Everything was very fresh and delicious. Other dishes, the chicken was surprisingly tasty as well. Since it was a birthday celebration, we took our time and stayed a bit longer. Even though we ended up staying past their closing time, they didn't rush us to leave. The meal includes geoduck sashimi, jellyfish & mixed appetizer, soup, steamed fish, crab & lobster with sticky rice, abalone, steamed shrimp, noodles, and veggies. Some dishes were bigger than others. Both times I came they didn't have abalone so we substitute the dish for garlic scallop (which I prefer). The menu also says it comes with house special dessert but we never gotten any. For any seafood, it's market price plus they add a 30% processing fee, which is strange to me. For a Chinese restaurant which usually does not charge tax if you pay with cash, they charge tax here whether you pay by card or cash. The restaurant is pretty big and spacious. They have pretty large tables, suitable for parties and celebrations. There's a private space upstairs with 3 large tables for parties. The restaurant is pretty slow in the afternoon.
