I locked my keys in my car - it was the middle of the day, I'm at work, and I discovered this unfortunate scenario when I realized I had left some work material that I needed in my car. I hop on Yelp with the sole mission of looking for just a locksmith who wouldn't absolutely screw me. Low bar, right? By sheer luck, I picked Keep Calm Locksmith. I call the number, the guy answers on the 2nd ring. Asks me what I need, told him the quick story, and he said "ok, I know where it is, I should be there in 20 min. I'll call you when I reach the parking lot". Literally 21 minutes later he calls and he's outside. I show him to my car, he takes a few tools out, and I s*it you not, has my car door open and my keys out in less than 3 minutes. If I'm lying I'm dying. He then pulled his phone out and had a Venmo Business profile with a QR code I scanned, and I sent him the $X amount (very reasonable) and just like that, he was out of there. From realizing my mistake to having everything back the way it should be was no more than 30 min. The dude is clean, sharp, has a nice work vehicle that's clearly marked, didn't give any weird vibes, and did exactly what he said he would do. They saved us when we locked ourselves out of the house. It's quarantine and all we do is go for daily walks.
