Decent Korean/sushi spot in the Fenway area. The restaurant space is a little small, but there are a good amount of seats and service was decent. Menu had a huge selection of dishes and while I'm usually apprehensive about spots that do a mix of cuisines, they did an okay job with the dishes we ordered. We opted to not get sushi as the name of the restaurant is very much oriented towards their fried chicken. Food came out fast and was fresh. The chicken was okay, nothing amazing but not bad. The soup was a little disappointing personally, but I prefer more flavor. The shell was tasty though. Overall, I probably wouldn't come running back, but I wouldn't mind returning if in the area again.

Casually stopped by with my parents, no expectations and it did not disappoint! Beef bulgogi was the fave, so much flavor but not too heavy. Katsu chicken curry was generous on the portion and was a comfort meal. It was my first time trying Tkeokbokki, these ones are pretty spicy! The shrimp katsu was a miss though - not whole shrimp, instead it was a fried paste/mix? Overall, huge menu so I'd come back to try the wings and sushi!

I didn't have a car so I walked here from the station and it was definitely a trip but a very worth trip!! The food was amazing and the service was good as well. I really liked how they decorated the restaurant, every wall did decorated with intent. Definitely want to come back again!

I'm glad I found a place which sells items with uni. I got the foie gras and uni hand roll with uni hand roll for takeout. It was interesting how they had the sauce on the side for you to squeeze on which was convenient for takeout. Unfortunately the uni in one of their rolls was not as fresh so it was a bit bitter and had a bit fishy flavor instead of sweet for fresh uni. Wish I could have tried more of their hot food items so the rating is only based on the freshness of the rolls. There was no parking lot in the front so you have to find a parking spot along the street with limited spaces. I got takeout but there were no utensils in my bag. Wish they had provided chopsticks or a spoon/fork.

After returning home from a trip yesterday we wanted to order food for dinner and the hubs wanted sushi so we ordered from KChickin for pickup. I ordered the miso soup and the spicy chicken entree which come with rice - and it was definitely spicy - very tasty but spicy - true into its name! We also ordered the garlic fried rice either chicken- which was very mild but tasty and comforting. The hubs ordered the Philadelphia roll, spicy tuna roll and the spicy salmon roll. He enjoyed all the sushi. Miso soup was good, warm, comforting maybe a tiny bit too salty but really good and had small pieces of silken tofu and seaweed. Everything was fresh when it arrived. Order was ready when he went to pickup. Only thing they didn't ask for his name when he had ordered although he mentioned it just as they were hanging up. So when he went to pickup and he said the name they could not find the bag. Then he told them all the items that were ordered. And then they were able to find the bag. Anyway, no big deal! Overall food is consistently good and service and ambience are great too!

Solid Korean fried chicken spot serving up other Korean and Japanese dishes -- including sushi! Located in the heart of Fenway, KChickin is known for their juicy yet crispy wings. We got their classic soy garlic wings which were packed full of flavor. Only downside is that some of the wings, near the bone were pink. Service was super friendly, our food came out quickly and we were seated basically immediately. The place seems like the perfect spot to grab drinks with a friend over some wings. It's a smaller spot with not too much seating either. I do wish there was a spot to hang coats as the seating is all stool seating. Overall, good vibes! Small tweaks I would personally suggest is ensuring that the chicken is 100% fully cooked and adding a spot to hang coats. Would def come back here again to try their sushi!

After spending several hours at the nearby Museum of Fine Arts, I walked around 15 minutes to Fenway for this top-rated restaurant in a strip mall essentially. After opening a very heavy door, a server will direct you to a table in their single dining room. Within minutes, I ordered and was enjoying my food. For lunch, I ordered the small boneless garlic soy chicken wings. They were very filling. The outside was crispy yet the meat inside juicy. It comes with a bowl of pickled things to offset the flavor. The grape soda was a perfect pairing.

The flavor of both dishes was amazing. This might be one of my favorite tofu stews I've ever had! The wings could have been crispier but still so yummy! I would definitely come back to support a small business! Highly recommend this spot!

3.5 stars, this restaurant was cute, parking was tough, lots of the parking was permit only for the apartments. We ordered the tofu, soy chicken wings and KChick Don. The chicken wings were crispy and delicious (kinda pricy for 6 wings), the tofu was a nice texture but kinda lacking flavor. My partner had the KChick Don, he said he enjoyed it. Service was good!

The restaurant is bright/vibrant decors with small tables . Perfect for small group of friends and couple to go grab fast but delicious Japanese/Korean food. We love the Super Bowl and super rainbow and the hotate bomb! They don't take reservations so make sure to plan ahead

Absolutely delicious fried chicken! The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and incredibly juicy on the inside. You can tell everything was made fresh and with care. Portions were generous, and every bite was addictive. This is hands down some of the best fried chicken I've had in a while. Fresh, flavorful, and beautifully made sushi. Every bite was delicious and well-balanced. I'll definitely be coming back and recommending it to friends!

I'm in Boston for a few days and was craving some Kimchi Tofu Soup with this chilly weather and KChickin did not disappoint!! We started with some Tteokbokki as an appetizer and it was delicious. While it was hot you could taste the spice a bit more but once cooled you could taste a bit more of the sweetness. Kimchi Tofu Soup is one of my all time favorite dishes and their recipe is amazing! We got a medium spice and it was a bit of a kicker but so yummy. The service was phenomenal and all the servers were so attentive. The ambience is super cozy and they had a few spots to hang our coats (which I really appreciate). I would definitely come here again and recommend to anyone who is in the area!

Great cozy spot for Korean & Japanese fusion! We waited about 15-20 minutes during peak dinner time without a reservation, and it was worth it. The wings were crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and cooked very well. I tried the Korean spicy chicken, but it wasn't as spicy as I expected. If you're craving delicious, Korean Fried Chicken in Fenway, KChickin is the place to go! Their menu offering is extensive! So, if you're not feeling chicken, there's also a large Korean and Japanese food selection and something for everyone. My personal favorites here are the soy garlic wings, super rainbow roll, and dragon sila roll! Everything is delicious and the chef's food presentation is on point! It was my first time here and I was really pleasantly surprised. We got the lobster roll, soy garlic chicken, seasoned fries (SO good it's kinda lemon-y), Super Bowl, the hotate haikkoyaki bomb, and yum yum salmon. Everything was really yummy and so beautifully plated! Service was a little slow. Our appetizers came out quickly, but chicken took a bit. Though chicken was really yummy it was so crispy but also really juicy inside.It was also really busy though so very understandable. The employees were so attentive! An extremely cozy neighborhood spot! I live in Fenway and this is one of my favorite local food places. Everyone is so attentive and friendly, and the food is excellent (my favorite thing is probably the veggie gyoza -- why that stands out the most I can't tell you, it's all good). We stopped by here after visiting the Isabella Stewart museum. The service was great and food came out fast. Great pre-game early dinner. I am gluten free and was happy to have the pork belly and rice plus the rainbow roll all made gf. My family enjoyed the regular menu. K chickin was slightly over whelming. It's a Korean takeout of sorts that serves a lot of flavored chicken wings. They do still have typical Korean food and a good amount of sushi options. The food is beautiful. The pan fried cream corn is tasty. Bulgogi, Korean steak is worthy of an award. Savory grilled thin marinated steak blew me away . Wow, what a great restaurant! Everything we tried was great. The wings with tangy flakes is reminiscent of a spicy lemon pepper. The chicken is fried to perfection, has the crunchiness of a good Korean double fried chicken while inside is still moist. They use a great quality corn that's crunchy and fresh- the corn cheese is cheesy and sweet, just the way I like it. Sashimi and raw fish were all very fresh- I felt the hand rolls were great quality for the price. There's not one item I had that I wouldn't get again. There's only thing I would do differently next time is bring more people so I can try more things on their menu! read more

Just wow this place brings in Korean and Japanese flavors together and it is amazing. My favorite was Hotate Hokkaiyaki Bomb and Super Bowl. The service was great she was very nice. I went during late lunch and it wasn't busy. I would say the place is a bit small but it has cozy vibes to it. Shout out to Jake one of the chefs for letting me record a video of him making sushi. Definitely will be back to try more dishes. read more

The chicken was good. We had the boneless shoyu garlic chicken, spicy maki combo, and kimchi fried rice. The chicken was the standout. It was perfectly crunchy but juicy and flavorful. The fried rice was just ok, not as flavorful as I'm used to. They also used long grain rice, which was unusual for me. The sushi had way too much sauce on it, maybe it didn't suit my palate. I would give the chicken 4 and everything else 3. read more

I've been here for their bibimbap rice dishes so I'll stick to those and explore other menu items.

I ended up coming back the very next day because I wanted to try their clam soba. The clam soba only comes hot, which is a bit unfortunately because I actually think a cold clam soba with some lemon or yuzu would be phenomenol. I've been seeing recipes for it online so I've been wanting to try it, but their clam soba is a lot more standard and hot. They had a very good amount of clams in it, but I generally like their cold soba better. Still good, but didn't give me that feeling of needing to come back the very next day like I did with the ikura-uni combo. Overall, I'd still come back when I'm in downtown!

My personal favorite thing to order was the Tangsuyuk, especially with how it was served separately from the sweet and sour sauce. Yes, I know it's just another crispy fried pork dish, but as someone who seeks comfort in food, it's definitely worth a try. Anyway, not a personal fan of their seafood pancake as it seems pretty doughy for my taste, but would definitely give everything else another go (or perhaps try something new) the next time I visit!

The scallops were incredible, and I loved that they served it with root vegetable chips instead of the typical tortilla chips. Sweet potato chips added such a unique flavor and texture. Absolutely delicious! For dinner, I had the sumac-crusted tuna with haricots and assorted vegetables, and it was fantastic. The tuna was flavorful, beautifully prepared, and paired perfectly with the vegetables. Between the food, the atmosphere, the energy, and especially the knowledgeable and attentive service, Row 34 delivered a dining experience that I'll definitely remember. So my boyfriend and I decided to check out KChickin in Fenway, and let me tell you, it's a tiny spot, but it's totally cool. He LOVES wings, and I'm all about sushi. We went on Saturday night and it was really nice out, and while the space is small and a bit cramped, we got a table super quick. Food came fast, too, and everything was delicious. He went with the tangy flakes wings and fries, which were super tasty with a spicy dry rub. We didn't expect the fries to have the same seasoning though! I went with their hand rolls (duh), and I was genuinely surprised by how good they were. The eel hand roll? WOW. The flavor and quality totally exceeded expectations! Now, if you've ever tried to hit up Matsunori but found yourself staring at a line out the door, I highly recommend trying KChickin instead. The sushi rolls are just as good, and no waiting around for a table (for too long). Oh, and let me just say.. I racked up the bill with those hand rolls!
