READ THIS BEFORE HIRING THEM AND LOOK AT ATTACHED PHOTOS. IF I COULD GIVE THEM ZER0 STARS I WOULD. It starts from the top and rolls down hill. We hired KC Floors Feb. 19 to install flooring and baseboard in our 1,760 sqft home. It is now April 6th and all of the corrections are just being finalized. Where to begin... Dave, the sales guy, was a nice guy but measured the flooring wrong and a few days into the job the sub-contractor, MIGUEL & SONS, had to drive to L.A. to grab 300 sqft. MIGUEL & SONS are complete hacks. If KC Floors tries to send them to your house refuse entry. They had a crew of roughly five guys that were terrible. They broke the supports under our bed when moving it and did not tell us, they tried to repair baseboards with drywall mud and it had to be ripped out, they did not remove the underlayment and the floors were uneven in many of the rooms and they had to come back and remove two of the bedrooms and reinstall the flooring. When Miguel came back to do they repairs he was mad and uncooperative. When KC floors tried to send Miguel a third time I refused to let him in. He, and his company are not capable of completing the job the correct way. (see photos) The owner refused to take my calls and requested that all correspondence be via email. This was actually better because the information the office was providing me and the information the owner provided contradicted each other. The owner also was requesting final payment, which I refused because the job as of now has still not been completed. I could go on but at this point it's not worth it. If you are looking for a cheap price, bad work, terrible communication and a job that should be completed in 7 business days taking 2 months you are in the right place. Your search is over. Call them today! If you want a job done right pay the extra money and go somewhere else. Great price for what I got, but the contractors Clayton hires are less than subpar! Crappy attention to detail and were supposed to come back and fix the stairs but never did! Great product on the flooring but hire your own contractor! And the turn around time was insanely long! Would not recommend!!! They also do not hook up appliances in the kitchen after counter installation (ie: gas stove, kitchen faucet). Baseboards were installed but they do not do the finish detail....was never told any of this! read more

When I had the master bathroom shower demoed. I found more issues KC flooring should of been accounted for. These issues could not of be seen until the tile was torn out. The added pictures show that his workers cut the studs on the outer structural wall which can weaken it. This does not meet the accepted trade standards. Also whole pieces of tile fell off with little or no effort. Again, that's the craftsmanship and quality of workers Clayton Blood hires to cut corners to same him money. read more

We are currently renovating our home but have previously chosen a different contractor to do our upstairs bedroom, hallway and stairs for flooring. We attended a friend's party and noticed they did their floors as well. I liked the look of their floors and asked what company did it. I immediately contacted Adam and sent Frank the same day to do an estimate for our flooring downstairs. Not only they gave me a reasonable price, but they completed the job within 2 days (estimated 4 days completion). Installers did an awesome job with the LVP that will match the wood floorings in the entire house. Staff is very prompt, communication was smooth all-throughout, very professional and pleasant people. I am utilizing KC Floors again to do the walk-in closet in a few weeks pending my bathroom completion project by a different contractor. I highly recommend this company. We want to thank KC Floors & More for doing such a good job on our floors, stairs, fireplace, kitchen counters and backsplash. We wanted our floors and stairs done with laminate (LVP). Dave came out to measure and product was ordered. Our installer David O. did an amazing job on the floors, stairs, and baseboards. David is so particular that he would go through the box of laminate to make sure the colors would match (side by side). He also paid attention to detail on the baseboards. Thank you David O. We then decided to have the tile around the fireplace redone. It was a small job, but the installer Julio didn't treat it as a small fast job. He didn't just put up 12 x12 sheets of rock, he also took the time to place individual rocks to make it look perfect. Thank you Julio. Of course we didn't stop there, we decided on new Quartz counter tops that look nice, but Julio came back to do the backsplash and now the kitchen is perfect. My husband and I moved into our first home together in late June and had KC floors redo all the downstairs flooring and baseboards. The finished product came out amazingly and they're so easy to work with not to mention very fast. We had trim in the kitchen I wanted to keep so it'd still match the kitchen but the wood was too damaged to salvage it. Their team was able to replace it and match the paint perfectly. I wanted to share about the awesome experience I had with Adam and KC Floors. Customer Service: I recently had carpet installed in my house and the installation date just happened to fall on the day that my wife went in to labor with our son. Although my father-in-law was at my home, there was a slight misunderstanding about a certain area that I wanted to be carpeted. When we got home from the hospital we thought it would be a big ordeal to get the carpet crew back out quickly and I of course thought that I would have to pay more money to carpet the extra area. I called Adam and he took care of EVERYTHING in a friendly and reassuring manner and I didn't have to pay any additional fees. I also wanted to mention that Adam was great during the our first consultation and never tried to "up sell" us to purchase more expensive carpet or pads. I felt like he was very honest and up front with the pricing. Quality: The carpet is beautiful and extremely comfortable. We have received many compliments on how it looks and feels. The main reason we had carpet put in was because we have two sons that are under a year old and we wanted them to have a safe and comfortable living room and play room. We are very satisfied in that respect and our 11 month old is already having a blast playing on the carpet and running amok without the hard falls on the tile.
