Love the warm inviting ambiance, service, quality, beautiful Turkish aesthetic, and yummy Turkish food/drink offerings. The "House Latte" with cardamom and honey is very smooth and addictive. Absolutely in love with this place. Best coffee in town in the most beautifully decorated cafe. The Spanish latte, Spanish rose, biscoff latte, and all the fresh squeezed juices are sooo delicious. Also love their breakfast items, very high quality ingredients and delicious flavor. Mediterranean plate and avocado egg toast and Mediterranean avocado toast are all to die for! Cute place; modern, a sense that you are in Turkey . They serve Turkish coffee with Turkish pastry and food . The place is too busy and not enough room for each table and patrons to sit comfortably. Not enough space or bad floor and chair design. Pastry is so so and the honey and butter platter was good . Overall i would only go there when it's not busy and try the baklava instead of ordering food. read more

This lovely independent coffee shop is such a welcome addition to the area. I haven't tried any of the pastries or food yet, but the coffee is delicious, hot, and they serve it in a proper cup to your table. Finally came to check out KavehG in Danville on a Saturday night and I have to say I'm so happy this cafe is now open! We ordered the house latte and iced Spanish latte and would rate both drinks a 10/10. The flavors are super rich and strong, which we love. I am all about small business owners and trying to realize the American dream. I had been waiting for KavehG to open but I definitely feel there are improvements needed for it to be a regular go to place. First the positives. Lots of seating and very nice decor inside the store. Theme is towards Middle East with mediterranean and Turkish food and faire. You can get a panini, a pastry, or Turkish delight along with your favorite espresso drink. You can also try Turkish coffee. There is also seating outside which is nice on a great day. What can be different. Despite the ambiance, the folks working (I'm assuming the owners) don't present a welcoming vibe. As a new business, it should be very welcoming with thanks to folks who are visiting. For example, thank people after you deliver their drinks and wish them well or "see ya next time." Publish the wifi password in visible places would be another example. Have a "Grand Opening" sign out. Be happy to see people walk through the door. There should be elements which hook your patrons into a 2nd, 3rd, and Nth visit. For example, Maison Benoit while on the high side of French pastries in terms of cost, continues to line people up for their buttery croissants and selection of pastries, breads, and sandwiches. Along with a fairly friendly and welcoming staff, Maison Benoit is doing well. So what did we order? I had an ice mocha and my better half got a hot mocha with some caramel drizzle. In terms of flavor, both of us felt the strength of the espresso left something to be desired. Again if you're going to stand above the rest, then your mainstay product should be better than Starbucks or Peets. Now maybe we didn't order the best or right things. The strawberry banana crepe did pique my interest as did the paninis. However, after the lackluster customer experience, I'm not in a hurry to go back. There are other places I can go where I get both, e.g. Brown Butter. I do think KavehG will be mildly successful. They will capture the middle and high school kid audience, especially those coming off the bus from MV. It's a great location, now make a few adjustments to build base and loyalty. read more

First off, the space is beautiful! There is nothing like it...even their paper cups for water are beautiful. The owners and staff are so nice too! And of course, the food, coffee/drink options, and their array of treats they offer are delicious. I love their little cinnamon sugar cookies, the Tuscan panini, and their Golden Hour tea! The avocado, egg toasts and other sandwiches all look so yummy though, so I'll be coming back for those! This will be a new spot in the rotation for sure! read more

At first we loved it, not so much after having a few bad experiences. The drinks are not consistent. Came back for the strawberry matcha and it was bad. Came back another time for the rose Spanish latte and the syrup was so strong. When we ordered the omelet, it was so salty. Quality control is a must! read more

Came here after hearing the place was great from neighbors. Hate to put up a bad review but for what they are charging I expected more. Decor is nice. Drinks are very sugary and not traditional Turkish...also the employees are not the friendliest I had to really try to get them to talk to me, I found myself saying please and thank you to them and it not being reciprocated. Biggest problem with this place is it's over run by rude teenagers. They take up all the tables, park their stuff and some leave for hours at a time. Not a great study environment as it seems more like a high school cafeteria atmosphere. Most of the kids lack manners and are being loud and obnoxious. Blocking chairs for their friends, running around, rather than sharing with the elderly patrons. Will give this place another try and repost as I had high hopes. read more
