The shop is in a small plaza, only 8-10 parking spots for the 4 businesses located there, but there is street parking available as well. The shop is clean and bright. At the time, Chris was the tech that completed my services. She did a great job, and I was really pleased with the work and continued visiting this shop. Over the years I have had my nails done by all the technicians working there, but never Annie who seems to concentrate on doing acrylics. I typically just do gel mani/pedis. For some time now I have been scheduling my appointments with Jenn. Jenn is very personable and kind. She remembers everything it seems and it's always a pleasant experience when dealing with her. Getting an appointment that fits my schedule is usually not an issue, but they tend to get busier as the weather gets nicer so keep that in mind when scheduling. They accept cards but appreciate cash! I am not a good cash carrier, but I always make sure to have enough to tip with.

I live very near here and, though I have a longtime manicurist to whom i've been loyal for years, I…read moredon't have the same situation when it comes to pedicures which I get kind of infrequently and randomly as I feel the need. I normally go to a place in Bethel that I feel does a very good job, but with this place so close to home, I thought I'd give them a try. You can make your appointment online which is by far my favorite approach and on the winter day I wanted to go they had same-day availability. I was immediately greeted, they had my appointment on the books and told me to pick a color and go back to one of the pedicure chairs, which are new and very comfortable. The entire salon is new, immaculately clean and welcoming. My technician was super friendly, did a terrific job and worked hard to remove all of my dead skin and calluses which I know were in bad shape on this visit. There was no trying to upsell me on additional treatments which I appreciated, and the price was reasonable ($35 for a classic pedicure, $50 for the Aloha one I chose which included callus removal). He provided tips like using a plain, low-tech pumice stone at home as opposed to something like the popular pedi egg, which I absolutely have and am guilty of using. Really nice shop and I will definitely be back here!

Whatever you do, please do not go here. I thoroughly read the reviews online and looked at all the…read morepictures that were posted, and I was confident Nivy could handle what I was asking for -- unfortunately, I was wrong. At the beginning of my appointment, I showed Nivy a picture of multicolor nails with a French tip -- very basic. Instead of multicolor, I asked for green and blue and specified that I wanted one finger green, then one finger blue. That was not what I got. Let me walk you through the appointment. After Nivy put down a coat of green on all my nails (which I was happy with), she said, "You want me to do something, or you want what's in the picture?" I said, "As long as they look good, you can do what you'd like with the blue." I didn't like what she did with the blue, so she removed it and started over to do what I had originally asked for. At this point, I asked her again -- one nail green, then the next blue -- which she did as a base, and it looked great. Then she used the opposite color for my French tips, mixing blue and green on the same nail. At this point, I just sat there in silence, trying to process the confusion I was feeling. At no point during my appointment did I ever ask for blue and green to be on the same nail. Not once. To make things worse, my cuticles bled because she cut them too short. Throughout the appointment, Nivy made multiple unprofessional comments, including crude remarks about a president (whom I also dislike, but it was just vulgar and unnecessary). There were also several open bottles of alcohol around the salon. While there was a beverage cart with hard liquor -- which I didn't mind -- there were also opened bottles on the floor in a bag, an open container behind the sink, and used shot glasses sitting out on a shelf in plain sight. At that point, I just asked to pay and leave. I'm writing this review sitting on my couch crying. I had such an unpleasant experience and will not be returning -- nor will I recommend anyone go here.

Nivy takes so much time and care with my nails from the manicure to the design. I've never had nails stay on as long as they have been since being a client here. Her shaping and design skills are ON POINT. She's great for communicating with concerns and questions before and after the appointment as well. Honestly have nothing bad to say. I'm a client for life. LOVE LOVE LOVE! You won't be disappointed.
