My mom came with me ahead of my wedding and Natalie did amazing per usual, but my mom was nipped and bleeding all over the place with her nail tech and did not have an enjoyable experience. She gave me a gift card for my birthday last year but sadly I have developed a gel allergy so I haven't been back since (wanted to put it to good use). I have a wedding this weekend and decided to go, but the singular email they send you with the gift card was no where to be found. Didn't think this would be a problem thinking they would have the ability to pull it up on their end as I did have proof of purchase and the confirmation code. When I arrived, I explained the situation upfront and was told by the owner that the gift card would be honored. I get my nails done but when it was time to check out, I was suddenly told they couldn't accept it without the email and that I should contact the third party. Frustrating to be told one thing at the start and something completely different at the end, with no consideration for the customer and their lack of commitment. On top of that, the overall vibe in the salon felt very off, gossipy and standoffish. Even the way the owner spoke to my entry level nail tech at times came across as uncomfortable and unprofessional, which didn't make for a great environment as a customer. With how often this place seems to go through employees, I would think they'd value customer satisfaction and retention over $50 - but that didn't seem to be the case. Gracie was very sweet and did a good job, but I won't be supporting this business in the future. - Update - the owner finally found the gift card 12 hours after my appointment without any gesture to refund what I was forced to pay in-store. Although I appreciate the now useless gift card, I would rather spend my time and money elsewhere. I suggest others do the same!
