Anyway we decided to give it another chance a few months later, which was my experience this time. A few weeks ago I came to this location and these annoying girls were seated next to my group of friends - the lovely hibachi chef handsome man was only giving large portions to the other girls, but not my group. I was wondering if this was because of my Cuban background, or if it was something i said? either way it was a clear act of discrimination to say the least. Maybe that's just the way I interpret things. I was also skipped for the broccoli toss and mouth catch. I was most excited for this bit because I have been practicing at home, and I really wanted to impress the sushi chef as he was making eyes at me lol. I almost always get the miso soup and it is some of the best miso soup I've had - always full of tofu and seaweed. We've also gotten the lunch bento boxes before and it is one of the best deals! I can usually get two meals out of it for only ~$13. The staff is friendly and the place itself is small and unassuming with only pick up/delivery available (no dine in option).
