Came by for Friday lunch without a reservation and was seated right away, which was a nice surprise. Even though it's technically a chain, the restaurant doesn't feel like one--there's clearly attention to detail in both the space and the food. Most of what we ordered was genuinely delicious. That said, I have to call out one miss: the Organic Chicken Tempura. I wouldn't recommend it. I actually tried to send it back, but the staff made it a bit difficult, so I just kept it and ate what I could. It ended up being a plate of bland, breaded chicken strips with almost no seasoning, served with a strange mix of deep-fried veggies--including broccoli, a thick slice of potato, and even cucumber. It just didn't work and felt like an afterthought. Aside from that dish, everything else was solid. Cocktails were strong and well made. I'd definitely come back--just steer clear of that tempura.

Sushi dinner

The food was truly outstanding, delivering on the promise of a delightful blend of classic and contemporary dishes. Candy, our attentive waitress, greeted us with warmth and ensured our needs were met with care. The lively atmosphere buzzed with energy, perfectly enhanced by upbeat modern music that kept the mood vibrant.

Kashi Bellmore now has Happy Hour from 1630-1900. They offer 10USD cocktails, 5USD beers and discounted food (including sushi). Limited seats, Great service! Woohoo!

After several visits I'm finally convinced with the service, ambiance and overall quality of Kashi in Bellmore. Although I wouldn't put kashi Bellmore in the ultra stratosphere of sushi spots in NYC, for Nassau county I would put them near the top. Bias to the tuna carving experience event that I recently attended, the quality of the event was amazing and will certainly result in future visits. Recommended to anyone looking for quality sushi regardless of price.

Delicious fresh food, creative yummy cocktails, excellent service- staff was very attentive & energetic (Benni & Steven took care of us), and a fun ambiance. We really enjoyed our dining experience at this location of Kashi and will definitely be back! We had the crispy rice with spicy tuna, tuna pizza, edamame, peanut mango avocado salad & the sex on the beach roll. Everything was delicious and fresh. I wish I took photos of the food as everything was beautifully presented as well!

The food was good, very innovative and fun, but still had the classic rolls. I think my favorite dish here was the spicy edamame. If you come with friends who are vegatarian, it's an easy menu to order from The drinks were phenomenal as well, a tad on the sweeter side but that's what I prefer. Great place for parties, as they had large tables and there were several birthday parties going on with shots and singing going on. I think what soured my experience was the wait; our fault because we walked in on a Friday night with no reservation. They told us 30 minutes, which we were okay with, but we let them know that if it was any longer, we could go somewhere else since we were starving. When we checked in with them at the 40-minute mark, they said they were cleaning the table. It wasn't until over an hour later that we were sat down. The service was kind of fine, maybe our server was new, but they were a bit clumsy and spilled the drink (which was fine, because that drink was filllled ). It was when the check came, though, that left a weird feeling; they plopped the check down in the middle of the table while we were still talking and walked away. Very rude. We waited so long, the restaurant was slowing down but there were still other tables sat, and it was still an hour away until closing, so it kind of felt like we were being kicked out...

A few friends and I had dinner here for my birthday. It was nice atmosphere We ordered drinks and appetizers. We ordered the tuna pizza and it was great. Jalapeño had a kick to it. We ordered the yellow tuna yuza and it was delicious too - Small portion though. Duck rolls were delicious. And that punch bowl, man I was out after it.

The best sushi in the area. Their app makes takeout easy. Their COVID-19: outdoor dinning great. Make sure call ahead to get a table!

The chef was funny and very accommodating to special requests. I had the steak medium which he actually did medium thankfully. Shrimp was clean! Clap it up for no veins! Lol this passion fruit tea was actually really really delicious. Not too sweet as some passion fruit flavored drinks are. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is the scallion pancakes. Maybe if you do just put in the request for it to be crispy. If you are like me and enjoy it that way. Otherwise I'll be back

We also had quite a bit of appetizers which were also all really good so appetizers will not fail you at this restaurant ... but what really annoyed me was that we were still eating and ordering drinks but Almost done with our food and bc they had more clients coming in the rushed us out of the restaurant in a non discreet and noticeable manner which was terrible bc we wanted to order desserts for everyone as well and the way they pushed and rushed us out was very swift and we didn't realize till our food was in he containers and they basically was pushing us out after even thanking them for their service and accommodating us so that was a big turn off to me and I didn't appreciate it bc we were a party of 12 and we got 8 appetizers double the amount of drinks and plates that cost over $28+ each so that was a bit disgusting and rude especially while wanting desert and celebrating my daughters special day , the restaurant is very clean if that matters for some mid food and n rude way we were sent out ehh I don't think I will be coming here ever again and not recommend this restaurant to anyone to be honest I personally did not want to tip the after seeing how the were rushing us out but I had class and still have them 18% normally we do 22% but it's okay will spend my money elsewhere next time

We popped in for an early evening meal at Sakura, Japanese restaurant in Long Island…read more After selecting the all you can eat option, we were seated at a large table with plenty of room for what we ordered. We selected items from a tablet which showed pictures and descriptions of the menu.. Be careful when ordering, as soon press the "add" button. The order is selected and sent to the kitchen. I place four orders os chicken w/broccoli before the waitress corrected the order. Vegetable spring rolls and fried oysters opened up our appetites. The short ribs were a bit chewy but delicious. Braised baby boy choy glistened in a white teriyaki glaze with crispy garlic and sesame seeds. Shrimp with broccoli was piled high with jumbo shrimp and and tender broccoli. Udon beef noodle soup had the right amout of spice and pepper. Chewy green tea mochi ice cream was sweet enough to cleanse the palette without being overly sugary. So many options, so little time. Drop in no later than 8pm if you want the full experience.

I just loved this innovative ordering and having the dishes delivered straight to my table was a win for a germaphobe. That was until new owners took over, then it was just awful. The food was greasy, and tasteless. The shrimp and soup dumplings had that god awful refrigerator taste. After going a few times, the bad food and the unfriendly faces just stopped me from going back. Recently, I was out with friends who wanted to try Sakura. I was not thrilled but being a team player, I decided to go. I am happy to say that the food quality has improved. Most dishes were good, not as good as the last owners but hey they are getting there. There was a limit on sashimi (30) and a limit on desserts (1) but with all the other options, I don't need more. The atmosphere is still unfriendly but they are trying. The service has gotten better but don't expect a smile when they deliver your food. As for me, I was just happy to have solid food that came out hot and was tasty. I will definitely give Sakura another shot and hopefully they get better and better.
