I stressed to reception and to the doctor on…read morestaff, Dr. Dan Dan, covering for Dr.Gabbai that I strictly wanted to be seen for my preventative wellness exam. Answered him honestly, he was nice but after I said I had an ear issue I was ALREADY seeking care for he looked at my ear for a few seconds and suddenly that made it a full exam. I had no idea that was something separate. I clearly did not give consent for a full exam. Billing gave me the run around about it. The reception desk never returned my calls. Extremely sneaky and frustrating. NEVER ever coming back. Sending them to the medical board for review.

He's still an awesome doctor). I have been a patient of Dr. Malouf a little over two years now, after my work insurance changed & then after being laid off while on leave after being injured. Luckily I was able to carry him over and am blessed to still be able to see him. I still thank my aunt who used to be an RN and had worked the same hospital he had been at years ago for referring me to him. I am not a fan of going to the doctors, AT ALL! Especially, after finding out online, after a year, seeing my previous one, that my most recent nd long term doctor was on probation and how he pretty much decided after taking cash for services, that he was no longer going to handle my care, in the middle of it. With zero warning. Even though I was still technically under his care. This is where a good doctor definitely outshines a crappy doctor! Dr. Malouf on the other hand, has been nothing but patient, accessible, kind and friendly, which for me, means the world. Some of us have a very hard time talking about our health and vulnerabilities. While he will take the time to listen, he will also give pretty sound advice and recommendations if needed. He will treat you with respect. His office staff is great. There are times they are overbooked or busy and you might be rushed through or asked to follow up with another appointment for any secondary diagnosis due to work load, but that doesn't mean he will not follow up, nor respond to your calls or messages. He is the first doctor I have ever had that didn't make me wait a week or more for an answer to a question or concern or for important paperwork to be handled. If I needed a form filled out or anything else, he or another doctor in the group he is with at my home location were quick to help out if he were not available to do it himself. I highly recommend him.

When I come to be checked for my overall well-being, she's pretty thorough in asking questions and checking me and any symptoms. She's calm and easy-to-approach. Staff is nice and respectful, too btw. My problem is the waiting time. It's better to come at the time you're told in the text message, not earlier. I was seen by my doctor 30 minutes after the actual appointment time and had to wait for the nurse to come back in the room for my paperwork for 5-10 minutes. This is the longest wait time I've had for an appointment.

We've had to settle for seeing the doctor's Assistants because he is unavailable, booked out for months every time we call. And, yes they have to check with him for everything. You'll be sitting in the patient room for longer than you wish. Recently after sending me to get some bloodwork done, I waited for a month before they got back to me with results on lab work (would have been longer if I hadn't called twice myself) and the PA never even considered prescribing pain medication while making me wait with back problems. Ultimately I find out that they never received the results. Thankfully I prompted them to get them. They don't have any system in place to follow up with patients automatically and they should! Do yourselves a favor and seek another doctor. I will finally be doing the same! One's health should not be put on hold. I'm switching doctors and staying away from their network.

After 5+ years of being his patient his office staff emailed my wife and berated her about an appointment we missed. An appointment we knew nothing about. She copied and paste and said some derogatory things because we didn't recall or knew anything about. She told my wife she wanted $30-40 for missing said appointment before we make another. On another occasion they withheld my blood pressure medication until I had blood tests done. There is no professionalism....Thats how they inform you it's time to come in for a visit - When you need your life saving medication most!! There is something very wrong with that don't you agree ?!!! His staff exhibits no compassion, no grace, nothing but combative Rudeness. I will not be back. Every time my mother suffered, we had to use Google to try to help her. He abandoned my mother during her entire illness and his indifference could have killed her. My mom has recovered, but the medical providers that treated her for her heart attack need him to prepare paperwork so they can get paid. They have been trying since August and he ignores them. He continues to do nothing and now they are coming after her for payment even though she had insurance--but the insurance won't pay without Dr. Martinez. What in the world.... He should be ashamed.
