Dr. Tran is a very cool doctor!! I first saw him in December of 2023 for out of control glucose readings! My blood sugar was out of control. I was impressed how knowledgeable and friendly he was! He explained everything well and took a long time with me. He made up a new medication list plan for me. After, about three months my blood sugar was back to normal!! I was seen by nurse Michael Bui ,all I can say is that this has been life changing for me. Michael Bui has the greatest bedside manner ,more than even any physician I have ever been to ... he shows genuine care and concern and listens without interruption. So, I tried to make an appointment with his office and the call was initially taken and then the receptionist picked up, pretended not to hear me and hung up like I was wasting her time. I tried to give this office the benefit of the doubt but these doctor's need to get it together and get proper staff that is willing to answer the phone and talk to their patients. I called again 3 more times before deciding that I needed to write this review so that others can see the problems you face in this office before you even meet the doctor. Come on these are very decorated doctors, they cannot afford to be this blind or they will be going under really fast. I'm advising people not to waste their time. They will be ignored. read more

Dr. Michael Tran is truly THE BEST endocrinologist that you will ever come across. I have such a tremendous amount of respect for him. He is warm, friendly, and compassionate. Within minutes of meeting him, you can tell he genuinely loves his work and cares for each and every one of his patients. A high number of patients see Dr.Tran for diabetes treatment, but I personally see him for management of my thyroid cancer. It was a stroke of (good) luck that I was introduced to Dr. Tran; my insurance referred me to him after my diagnosis. Now, I can't imagine seeing any other person, or trusting any other person as much as I've come to trust Dr. Tran. A bit about the way he/his office operates: waiting time is not too long (the few times I had to wait a bit was due to other patients running late for their appointments and thus causing a backup); Dr. Tran never rushes through your appointment (he is very meticulous and thorough when examining you and going over all your labs, scans, etc with you); his staff works lightning fast on getting authorizations for additional scans, labs, etc if needed. One thing that I truly love about Dr. Tran is his commitment to helping you find the perfect solution for your health condition. As those battling thyroid cancer or even general thyroid issues know, the most important thing to being able to function as close to your old self as possible is the right combination of medication. Based on labs and your feedback, Dr. Tran will continually adjust and tweak the dosages accordingly until the ranges are within the norms. The staff there is extremely nice (thank you Ivan, Ana, and Cuong!!!), and go above and beyond to accommodate the needs of patients. There have even been instances where Ivan stayed after hours to hear back on how my scans went so that he could relay that on to Dr. Tran. It was not an obligation, but his kind heart wanted to make sure all went smoothly. I won't lie...when I first started seeing Dr. Tran, there were a few staff members that just didn't seem pleasant to be around. I dreaded having to pick up the phone and dial over there. Problem appears to be solved as they are no longer there! I can't provide personal feedback on how he is with treating diabetic patients, but I can tell you that he does an amazing job on his work with thyroid cancer patients. This is not a review for Dr. Tran. It is a review for his office staff. I got new insurance and my old doctor is no longer in-network so I had to find a new one. I called to make an appointment with Dr. Tran. However, before I made the appointment I wanted to make sure that he was in-network with our insurance. The front office staff would not confirm if he was in-network. They said they will only confirm 3-days before the appointment and that the next appointment was 2 month away. Also they would not set up an appointment unless I transferred them my medical records. So they want me to go through all the trouble of setting up an appointment which is 2 months away and will then tell me 3-day before the appointment if Dr. Tran is in-network with my insurance. This seems completely asininely backwards to me. read more

I was extremely concerned that I had a thyroid issue and read the reviews on this doctor and decided to go with him. I had to wait about 5 weeks to get in but I'm really glad I waited. He is an excellent and very thorough doctor. He spends the time with you needed instead of rushing you out the door so he can get onto the next. Luckily, I didn't have a thyroid problem but he sat with me and went over my diet and eating habits and this has really helped me with taking better care of myself. No exaggeration - Dr. Tran might have helped save/greatly extend my life. I came in due to feeling all kinds of inexplicable fatigue, trouble sleeping and a bunch of other issues. Dr. Tran ordered some tests and found that I had a Vitamin D deficiency, and extremely high iron levels - and told me to schedule and appointment with my Primary Care Physician. Doctor Micheal Tran is very straight forward and honest, he does not waste our time and money.

I finally found an endo who knows what he is talking about. I am off all meds and doing great. His personality and vibe is what seals the deal aside from actually knowing what he is doing and getting me where I'm at healthwise. I moved and would love a doctor closer but that would make me have to change networks. I refuse to because I refuse to find another endo. I will gladly drive to lb for Dr Tran. read more

I went there for my Thyroid diagnosis. The process was: I came in 15mins earlier, the receptionist gave me papers to fill in. After that I got to meet a nurse who checked my weight and height. Then she checked my heart beat and asked about why I think i have a thyroid. After explain all of everything to her. I transferred to another room to check and screen my neck. After that, I waited in that room to wait for the result from Dr. Tran. He explained very well about my condition. And he gave positive feedback to let me know that my situation is not a serious case. I was still concerning and kept asking him questions if he needed to follow up my case and to see how will it develop and affect my health. He explained quite well of everything and I left there happily. I can say that he's quite nice and open to you. I visited the office of Dr. Michael Tran two times. The doctor is friendly, caring, and knowledgeable. The first time I was able to schedule an appointment only with two months of waiting time. I went there in two months. The location is very comfortable. The waiting room is very relaxing with a beautiful aquarium. During my first visit I waited for an hour to see a doctor, even though I came in time. When I had an appointment with the doctor, I understood the reason of the long waiting time. He was explaining me everything in details, showing an examples on the study models for better understanding, listening to my complaints, answering questions, finding solutions, trying to help. This is very good. In my opinion, this is how the normal doctor's appointment should be. I realized that he spends time the same way with each patient; therefore, the waiting time is quite long. During my second visit to his office I waited just 20 minutes. During my appointment the doctor was in a hurry, I even forgot to ask the question about a medication, that I planned to ask. I left the office a little bit disappointed. Also, before that I submitted my blood test, and received the call from them saying that my blood test is a little bit of out of range just in two months. I think if the blood test is out of range, they should call and inform the patients immediately.
