I bought a 645 CI BMW from these guys and believe it or not the first day it had a transmission malfunction! they told me to take it in ....then told me they did not find anything wrong with the transmission. It continued doing transmission malfunction over a year and eight months. It's crazy Because after a year was up my transmission malfunction came on once more.... although this time I did not have warranty, they did not want to fix it & they knew that I had this problem before and they still did not want to fix it because they said I no longer was under warranty.Hands-down this is the worst vehicle I ever owned . We were looking into buying a used car posted on autotrader.com by Karplus Warehouse, but we had first called in to see if it was in stock. We talked to "Rocky" and he confirmed it was in stock and to come down to check it out. We asked if there was anything wrong with the car and its history but all he told us is that it was working and had a clean title. We live in FRESNO and we told him that we would be willing to come down to buy it if he saved it for us and he agreed. After the 3 hour road trip to Karplus, we met "Rocky" but he referred us to another salesman. They told us to get in another car with them to go check out the car in the repair shop and so we did. When we got there, the car we wanted was literally beaten up and unable to be driven!! I asked them why they lied to us about the car and they BLAMED THE COMPUTER. SERIOUSLY? I bought an black 2006 mercedes CLS back in November from Karplus warehouse. I can't describe in words my experience. I had problems with my credit do to medical bills after shopping for month I found this one and called. After talking to Jose and explaining my situation and my budget he told me the best way is if I can come in with my paperwork they need to take a look at my credit for them self. I decided to give it a shot cuz I really wanted that car and didn't want to settle for less that was my total dream car I know that I was told by other dealers I went to many times before that this car is too much for a first time buyer but I still had hope after talking to Jose. On my way there I had mix feelings I wasn't sure about it but at the same time I had the excitement in me. As soon as I got there I was treated very nice and professional I asked for Jose and was browed to him, he was still helping a customer. Jose finally came and say hi, it felt like we know each other he made me feel welcome and I can tell he was sincere person it felt really good and my anxiety blushed slowly. He then showed me the CLS wow it was so clean like new he even took his time to tell me about all the functions on the car. I told him that I am trying to get an CLS for a while now and it didn't happened. I told him that's my dream car and I would do anything to get it. All the other dealers wanted to switch me to some Nisan Altima or Dodge Charger (hell no). Jose told me not to worry he will do his best to make it happen but we need to talk to the finance. I was like oh yeah it's not gonna happened. Jose explained that they work with a lot of different lenders and that he is sure that they will find one if not that they do there own financing as well. I was sitting and waiting for a little I saw other people driving off in there new cars that made me calm down a little. They called me in the finance room Jose was with me and on my side the finance told me that this is a very difficult deal to do with the downpayment I have and that I would need more. Jose started to defend me and telling the finance guy that I have been pushed around and this is the only car I want and I really would do anything. They could tell how much I wanted that car so they made a couple of phone calls and talked to me about a payment plan that would work for me and then... I can't believe it they made it happened. I was never happier in my live my tears literally start rolling down my cheeks I got emotional. I know that they cut back the price alot for me and did not make any money on me and that is something you don't find in a lot of people or business this days specially a used car lot. I just don't know how to thank you Karplus Warehouse I will tell everyone about you guys and make everyone to come see you guys. There is still real humans out there thanks. My special thanks go's to Jose he is my Hero without him I would not drive my ride now. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE!! THEY ONLY SELL LEMONS. At the beginning it might seem like you are getting a good deal but you will get screwed. I bought a car in March 2013 and within a few days I noticed the AC didn't work. The extended warranty takes you to Sheldon Auto Care who gives you the run around. I called them telling them the AC didn't work and told me off the bat the extended warranty didn't cover it. Soon after I noticed the engine was noisy and leaked oil. I made an appointment to get the car checked and they literally told me there was nothing wrong with the car. I had to go out of my way and take it to Ford Galpin Motors to get a diagnostics and they told me it needed a whole engine rebuilt. I literally had to go back to Sheldon Auto Care because thats the only mechanic the "extended warranty" covers. BY THE WAY THE ENGINE REBUILD TOOK 3 MONTHS and all the loner carS they provide me were salvaged vehicles. It is now 2015, even after the engine rebuilt and half a dozen times I've take it to Sheldon Auto Care the car continues to have problems. BUYERS BEWARE!! DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM KARPLUS! read more

You will see really low prices for cars listed online, and that will get you in the door, but they are going to upcharge you, so that isn't the price you will pay. They require that you purchase a stupid GPS system that costs $1500, so you can just add that right on top of any car you're looking at. In the end, I still purchased from them, because even with that fee, they were still a good 20% less than the going rate, and other dealerships I visited charged a "dealer fee" of about the same amount, so I figured it was a toss up. They do feel sort of shady, but in the end, they seem to do what they say they will do. One thing - I wouldn't bother with the warranty (sold by Portfolio Protection), unless you live in close proximity to the dealership. You have to take your car to their local repair shop, or you'll get a major run around trying to get anything done to fix your car. The process for getting them to pay is so convoluted, you'll just end up paying for repairs yourself, on top of that pricey warranty. Bottom line - buy a car here if you see one you think is a great deal, but be ready to pay more than advertised, and just say NO to the warranty. read more

Finance guy wasn't in, Truck wasn't cleaned, paper work hadn't been completed. As soon as they got their $ I became a nobody. This dealership is not upfront with you in terms of purchasing a vehicle. I had completed an online application and was informed by the Sales Manager that we could go forward with the sale. I had wanted to get pre-approved as I informed him that I would be coming from Long Beach he also informed that he would work with me on the down payment. When I arrived the Sales Manager was not working and was assisted by a sales rep. He told me the exact opposite and that my credit was bad and a 20 % down payment was required. I asked why wasn't I told about this before driving to to Pacoima from Long Beach and sitting two hours in traffic ?. He didn't answer and walked away. Since visiting this dealership I received financing on a 2014 Prius and was informed by score was in the 600's. I was hesitant to visit this dealership after reading some negative reviews, but I decided to give it a try because the vehicle I wanted, a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee was in its inventory. I called its Internet Department and spoke with a guy named Rey, who was helpful in giving me heads up about the vehicle. He even suggested that I submit an application online so he can find the best financing rate available. My credit is not that exceptional, so I expected to be charged higher than regular interest rates for financing a vehicle. Together with my wife, I went to this dealership first week of May to see the vehicle. First, I was amazed at the dealership's size. This is not your usual "hole in the wall dealership" that displays only a handful of rundown used vehicles for sale. It is literally huge, with at least 600 vehicles in the lot, of various makes and newer models. I was met by the Internet guy, Rey, who assigned a salesman to assist me. After test driving the vehicle, we met the Sales Manager, Ken. He explained that because the vehicle was being sold at internet price, this will be a hassle free purchase, without going back and forth to negotiate the price. Beforehand, I compared the selling price with other dealers for a similar vehicle, and true enough, it was priced a $1000 less. That being said, the whole process from filling up the forms to coming up with the monthly payment took less than 30 minutes. I was pleasantly surprised to know that my credit qualified for a 14% interest rate. The Finance Manager, Max, explained that they deal with many banks, so they can get the preferential rates for their customers. It has been over a month since I purchased the vehicle and I have no complaints. It has already brought me to Big Bear Mountain for a weekend family vacation, and a fishing trip to Castaic Lake with my buddies. So far so good. I am a happy camper! I called ahead to purchase a 2015 suv for 48k which they said was a firm price bc they were taking a loss on it and we went over everything on the phone and said we'd be there in 45 to purchase, to please clean vehicle so we can come, sign and go. Got there and suv was NOT clean, they asked me for the price of the vehicle bc "they have it listed for different prices on different sites" ... ok... brought it my 2016 limited highlander fully loaded, perfect condition, doesn't even have plates on it yet, as the trade (love the car, just realized we needed something bigger) They quoted us 34k for my car after looking at it, checking condition, verifying the 10k miles and checking the VIN. we did up the paperwork and we were ready to go THEN they said they were waiting on the bank... that the "bank" needed to accept the offer for my trade in and the "bank" would be back soon to check out the car again... the "bank" was a guy who worked there, maybe the owner, the "bank" was wearing a baseball cap and shorts and he went out to check out my car for the second time and came back with 25k.... wtf? Blue book on my car is 38k so 34k for wholesale was fine with us but 25k was a joke. Simi valley chevy quoted us, same day $33500 for it, so coming down 1k is understandable but 9k? Lol yeah, no. They totally wasted our time with BS and we're obviously trying to make up for the low price on the suv they were selling us. So crooked! I drove 45 minutes with a screaming 8 month old and dropped off my 3 yr old with my sister so we could do this deal and kast minute they tried to strong arm us. #bitter Also there was a lady next to us was trying to buy a Mercedes and was telling my husband they looked up the Carfax and saw that it had been labeled a "lemon car" and I read some other reviews talking about lemons and I notice a trend... definitely chk the Carfax b4 u purchase and have it inspected by your mechanic.
