I've had my car that I bought from Green Car on 7/3/2026 for two months now - and what a great deal it was - AND - what great experience this had been!
First, they made the purchase extremely easy, flat cost, no haggling, everything is disclosed and fully transparent on attributes or needs of the car. The price was already rock-bottom compared to other like-and-kind examples I saw over the course of a year on Craigslist, Auto Trader, Cargurus, Ebay, Bring-A-Trailer, and others, etc.
I had never bought a car from a dealer in my life, new or used, as I've always been suspicious of hidden issues and trickery. I've been restoring, customizing, and rebuilding cars for over 40 years myself, so I'm not the typical customer that can be duped. The car I bought was one-owner, very clean, not only per the Car Fax that Green Car provided, but as verified by my own separate sources I researched. There were even receipts in the glove compartment and other documentation from the original owner that confirmed regular maintenance, mileage markers for service, and proper regular upkeep.
I've been driving it these past 2 months, and not a single issue. Everything is working like a new car, even the A/C. They had it cleaned as if new, and the car has needed nothing in all this time. The oil looks like new, the coolant was perfectly clean and free of debris, no weird noises, and not a single leak of any kind - trust me, I'm a skeptic so I have been checking again and again for problems. But nothing. I even put it on my GM Tech-2 scanner, and ran it on the ODB-II port looking for DTC codes of ANY kind, and nothing - not even on multiple tries. No engine or emission flag codes, no body control codes, no electronic mishap warnings or missed service codes; just perfect.
I had been specifically looking at the exact model car I bought for a year's time, knowing exactly what I wanted at a steal of a price; I wanted something under 80,000 miles, in as near new condition I could find, at less than $4,000. That was a rare proposal, but Green Car had EXACTLY what I wanted, in those prerequisites, as well as the EXACT color and options for which I had been hunting.
The title showed up in the mail about 2 weeks ago, and the new CA plates arrived in the mail this past Friday. I was waiting for the actual plates as the official finale of the purchase to be sure all was in order before making this post - but have been wanting to do this since the day I bought it. I waited these 2 months before posting to be sure I could genuinely give an honest and fair review, and report the facts should anything have arisen as a problem, but not a thing. This truly was a 100% positive experience, so much so, this is the ONLY 'Yelp' post I've ever made in my life. I'm not a 'social media' kind of dude, I don't have time for it.
Niko who works there was ESPECIALLY helpful, and went out of his way to help me with a conundrum I had to get the car home, especially with the July 4th weekend/holiday the next day - I want to highlight him specifically, because he's obviously a hard worker and has a great future - no matter what he decides for a career path or business he creates.
I tend to hang on to cars for a VERY long time; I still have my first car that I bought 40 years ago, now reserved as a classic show car. I'll have this car I bought from Green Car for a very long time as well, but if I were to ever need something similar in the future, I would not hesitate to buy from them again.
