So we just left this dealership. They had a car we were interested in at a really good online price of around $15k, so we decided to check it out. The salesperson was actually very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. Then we sat down to discuss numbers, and that's when we learned they add in pre-installed "accessories" on top of the advertised price. Brining the price to around $19k. I was instantly annoyed. They found a way to have a listing price that is low or considered a "great price" so it pops up when you are searching and filter for a "great price" car or filter for "Price: low-high". The manager came over and kept trying to convince us to finance the car so the monthly payment would be lower. The problem was that my wife and I didn't care about the monthly payment--we just wanted a fair out-the-door price. Once it became clear that we weren't falling for the payment-focused sales pitch, the manager asked, "What do you want from me?" I told him, "I want you to list the car for the price you're actually trying to sell it for." His response was, "Well, you can't get everything you want. I want a bigger house, I want a nicer car..." and he continued trying to justify their actions. This business model feels very predatory. They advertise an attractive price to get people in the door, then add thousands of dollars in mandatory accessories afterward. Yes, the add-ons are mentioned somewhere in the listing, but most people aren't going to read every line of the fine print. They know exactly what they're doing, and then they blame customers for not reading the entire description. I can easily see someone inexperienced getting taken advantage of here. The only positive is that we learned to always read the full description before making the trip. Thankfully this dealership wasn't far from us. If we had driven hours only to discover these extra charges, I would have been even more frustrated. read more

I normally am never the person to go out of my way to write reviews but I recently visited this dealership with the intent of purchasing a vehicle and had already gone through the trouble of obtaining a pre approval check for them. After everything was already in motion, I was informed that there would be an additional $2,000 charge for a security system. From what I understood, the system was already installed in the vehicle, yet no one was willing to clearly explain what I was actually paying for or provide any detailed information about the product or service being added. I asked several questions and never received a straightforward answer. They wanted me to pay about 19k for a 2017 with closer to 100k miles. That's ridiculous. I don't recall the names of the salesman or the sales manager. The manager, a gentleman with a closely shaved head, became somewhat dismissive and rude toward the end of our interaction when I expressed concerns and asked for clarification. Also wanted to mention at the time of posting this review, I've noticed that other customers have raised similar concerns and received responses stating that these charges are disclosed upfront and clearly listed. That was not my experience. At no point before obtaining financing and having a check issued specifically for this purchase was I made aware that there would be an additional $2,000 charge for a security system. When I asked for details regarding what exactly I was paying for, I was unable to get a clear explanation. If this charge was in fact disclosed somewhere beforehand, I would encourage the dealership to point out exactly where and provide customers with a clear breakdown of what they're receiving for that amount. Transparency isn't simply saying a charge exists, it's making sure customers understand what they're paying for before they're already invested in the process. I had a very good experience with the processes of buying a car from here. The car I wanted was way in the back of the lot and they moved all the cars infront very fast to allow me to test drive it. when we asked about hidden fees and what not there were none. the sticker price was quite a bit higher than the price listed online so if your only looking at the stickers I would double check the price online cus they do honor the price online with no problem. the sales man who helped me out Danny was very nice and easy to talk to he answered every question I had about the car with ease and was overall very friendly. read more

unfortunately, i have to change my review after being pressured to leave a positive review right after purchasing my vehicle. please take heed and DO NOT buy a car from this dealership. i wish i had listened to all of these horrible reviews but i didn't. one day after getting our car, the battery died and the air conditioning went out. we had to fight back and forth with karplus to get them to fix all of these issues. it's absolutely absurd to have several problems with a car within the same 48 hours of purchasing it. almost a year later, we got into an accident and upon getting the car serviced, we learned that karplus was an even bigger scammer than we thought. the auto shop told us that the odometer was replaced by the dealership to less mileage than the car actually has, which is wildly immoral and also ILLEGAL. there was also a faulty wire, and a faulty airbag system that didn't allow the airbags to deploy when we got in a severe accident. this could have caused serious injury or death. thank god all of the passengers are safe. i urge you to shop LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE for your new car. this place is a scam, and they obviously do not care about their customers. read more

They took us for a ride. Insisted on "accessories" that were either already a part of the stock car or didn't need to be there. This ballooned the cost. We kept telling them we did not want accessories. They kept telling us it couldn't be changed until it was. It was like pulling teeth to get them to do it. Usually that's the easiest thing to get rid of with most dealerships. On the finance side, they tried to switch the number to the price on "the website" despite us pulling up the KBB listing. That was the last straw. Don't believe a word they say until it's in the final contract. We walked away. Read and reread everything. read more

Until, I came to Yelp after leaving there tonight and wondering if we were the only people who had an issue with these guys. Lo and behold they did the same exact thing to at least 4-5 other people in the past 2 weeks, and that's just the ones that wrote a review. I don't even really need to say what happened because there are multiple reviews above/below mine telling my story. But basically we were quoted a number to get us in the door until we sat down and they handed us a paper with a price 3k over the out the door price we had just got the day before. That out the door was already 4k more then the sticker price too which they were supposedly going to be willing to work with us on. Obviously thats not what happened and we walked away. I'm interested to see what the new business model they will be forced into will look like after 10/1/26 The salesman Richard was actually trying to help get us the deal we discussed prior to driving out there. Please buy elsewhere or go to your trusted mechanic for inspection before purchasing! Where do I begin? Maybe with the dangerous vehicle that they sold me? The fact that my floor mats were missing and I didn't notice till I got home. I called to report it and was told they were gonna look around and get back to me and never did. They also jacked up the price on my contract by telling me the car came with auto theft service and telling me that it can't be removed. The fact that they sold me a car that had a $18,000 sticker price on the lot only to go home and find the same car listed on their website for 15 grand? I let this all go but what is Worst of all is the danger they put me any my son in by selling me a car that had a wire connected to jimmy the blown main fuse. This was only discovered yesterday when my car wouldnt start and was completely lifeless. I had the car towed to a mechanic, they suspected a blown fuse, but when they opened the fuse box cover, they seen that the fuse had been jumped by a wire which had overheated and caught on fire.
