They answered all questions I had regarding the car and financing and were more than willing to offer me a great deal once I got there. The car looks brand new and runs like a champ! I drove the car out of town for several hundred miles with no issues and it continues to run wonderfully after I got it home. The guy who sold me the car was rude the entire time. And after having the car and finally receiving my registration I realized the plates for the car were not even under the paper like they told me. Went back and forth with Lauren for two weeks who kept telling me the DMV person would be able to handle it for me for me to come pick them up from them, then upon just calling now Paul who didn't put me on the phone with Lauren said I just had to go to the DMV to get the issue resolved myself. Also, if I wouldn't have taken this car back and forth to the mechanic before purchasing it would have had thousands of dollars of repairs to fix. And they lied and said the car supported USB and aux but they actually just took a random part and shoved it in that slot . Steer clear of here if you can! read more

I had a horrendous experience purchasing a vehicle from this dealership. Be warned, they are not honest and will lie about having serviced the vehicle of sale. I was told that the 'tire' was making the noise which after purchasing I found out was in fact the transmission which needed to be replaced. That came right out of my pocket - and cost me more then purchasing a newer car with less miles..... ouch. Be WARNED! Do NOT purchase from this stereotypical 'used car lot'. Unfortunately my experience was terrible. I went there because I was looking for a VW Turbo Bug and they had one that looked pretty nice, not perfect, but still nice. I started have suspects when they instantly dropped the price. I didn't even started the engine and they dropped 500 bucks. I had the feeling they wanted to get rid of the car. And I was right, now I know why. I talked to Alan who was pretty gentle with me and I asked him if the car had any problems or damages and he said they checked it, put the car in air, nothing wrong at all. He's kind a former racing driver, and I am as well. So before I was deciding if to buy the car or not I asked him:" from a racing driver to another racing driver, is this car really good and in a good shape?". And he flipped his eyes down, like when you are going to lie, and he said yes. I said him:"between gentlemen, you would tell me if it had any problems, right?". And again he said "no problems, it's a very good car". He was lying. Hovever I needed that car, and I decided to trust him anyway. The car had two big visible scratches on the front right and rear right bumpers, but I didn't pay so much attention to it, and I thought it was OK. I was very wrong. After one week the car started to leak coolant liquid, and I had to fix it for 180 bucks. One week later the car started to leak oil, and it turns out that the gasket valve was gone. It costed me other 300 bucks to fix the gasket valve. Then it turns out that the car had to get the timing belt/water pump redone, and Alan said the services were done properly, but he lied. So I spent 550 $ more to replace the timing belt and water pump. A couple of days ago I was driving back to my place and I suddenly lost power. No throttle response and a yellow EPC light appears on the dashboard. Imagine that: coming back at home from work at midnight, in the middle of the freeway, and the car starts to have major problem with power (almost no pression at all) I was almost forced to stop my car. I barely could reach my place, and the following morning I called the nearest Volkswagen shop and they said the intake that connect the air filter to the turbo was gone! I had to spend 260 bucks to fix it. So, now, you see why the guy at Wholesale Auto dropped the price so quickly, simply because THEY KNEW the car was not a good car. But it's not done yet: the VW mechanics said that the turbo coolant plastic box behind the front bumper, under the car (front right side) was broken. 550 bucks to fix it. I asked him to inspect the car and the guy (very professional) said the car maybe hit some curb because there's a visible damage in the right side, underneath, and the plastic cooler is cracked. In other words: somebody had this car for a while, they never did any maintenance, the car had many problems (oil and coolant leaks) and plus the car was damaged by hitting something that ruined the turbo coiler and bumpers. Now, you see why I think the guy at the Wholesale auto outlet (Alan) was not honest with me: he knew the car was there because somebody damaged it and he just wanted to get rid of it. And they didn't tell me anything about that. Instead, they lied to me completely. You are not professional. So I give you one star and never, NEVER again buy a car from such a creepy dealer. Well to many good things to comment and that's a good thing. Well our truck got stolen in December and was found a week later. Total loss. Time to look for another one. It was hard enough getting approved for the stolen. It became a nightmare for me and my wife looked and looked and just getting denied everywhere. Until I spoke to Allen he told me just have your down payment ready and I can get you in a car. Well all dealers say that. But this gentleman kept his word we had the money and he made it happen. This was our last option and man did he help us get into the truck we wanted. Waited for us after even though it was late for them. I'm totally blown away. While the stock of vehicles is decent for a used car lot of this size, DON'T BE FOOLED by the appearance of the vehicle or the description provided by the salesman. Namely, Alan, the owner of the company was so adamant about selling the 1999 Pontiac Trans Am that he had that he blatantly lied to my face twice about the car. I had to take the car to my own mechanic to see all the problems. Alan told me "There is no rust on the car ANYWHERE". I had a quick look under the car and guess what I found, RUST all along the underside of the car. Upon further inspection at my mechanics shop, both front and rear subframes, brake lines, body mounts, engine mounts, and parts of the suspension were almost rusted completely through. After learning this, I gave him another chance to come clean and be honest. His response. "I promise, there is no rust anywhere, we can even put it on the lift and I'll show you" (like he was trying to call my bluff). I would never send anyone to this shady location with liars for salesman. Last word, DON'T BUY YOUR CAR HERE!! read more

Listen everyone!!! This is NOT!! A legit place to buy a car! I came here to buy a car that was seen on an internet Ad. First off the Guy who sold me the car was an A**. He sold me a Junk!! It was so dusty inside the car i had to vacum and wiped it down also right after i bought the car i had to do whole bunch of maintenance & Repairs on it costing me Over 1,000 etc etc etc-check engine light, replace battery, timing belt, a air tube that went around the engine Snapped off had to fix that too, my clutch was throttling alot and! I had to order myself a Keyless remote as the car was sold with a Dead Beat up bcz the owner refuse to order one for me. There was constantly something wrong with this car everyday!! I had to have it service myself!! Spending more on its problems when I could've just simply cash out on a Certified used car. It was never properly service before I bought it, i had to wait a week before i could actually drive it, Also before I had bought the car I asked him if he smog it and if he had the pink & smog cert on hand. He gave me this ugly look rolling his eyes up and replied rudely " Its Smogged! " I also asked him if the car was up to date well maintained, he replied once again rolling his eyes" its a Good car " Without further questions i trusted that he would take care of me as i already drove 10 hours in the Heat to check out this car I'm mean what the Heck! I Am not going to leave empty handed.. Anyway i liked the car a lot so I bought it cash on hand! I payed a lot!! For a car that was over mileage too, I was told that the paperwork would take 2-3 weeks to process over to DMV. Its been over a month now and im very Concern, I followed up with these guys about 5 times asking about my paperwork. The person that I spoke with kept saying that DMV was back up that it would take about 3 months to process through. Bullshit!! I gave these guys plenty of time to come through and all they do is Make up stories that DMV is Backed up, we eventually got into a Little arguement over Paperwork. The owner even had the nerves to ask me to smog the car myself! Please!!? That is non of my Responsibility in the first place!!! With all this ridiculous Non-Sense I finally called them one last time to ask about my paper work or else I'm going to talk with DMV. The guy called back immediately the next day telling me not to call DMV and that he had already completed the transaction I should be receiving my title in another 2 weeks or so That was when i know something sketchy was going on, I didnt trust these guys anymore after hearing 4-5 different lies. I finally payed a visit to DMV Turns out that they never smogged my car and I think failed trying to get it illegally smogged!! That's why the paper work didn't process through, Its been 4 months now and still not receiving anything!!!!!!! I'm very Disappointed with their Horrible Customer Service and negligence! Came here to buy a truck. Had a 1,500$ down payment ready for a truck that cost 11k guy named Allen said they can work with bad credit then when we were getting ready to start up the processes he told me my interest would be 21%! On a 11k truck after taxes and interest for a 4 year plan that truck would've cost me 26-27k. When i told him that was just to high he started going off on me about my bad credit and that I've only been at my job for 6 months being just plain rude. I make a good living and both my jobs are secure. This guy was just trying to take advantage of me for having bad credit. And this was also with a co-signer who had excellent credit trying to help me out. Really wished the guy wasn't an A-hole so I could've left with the truck I wanted. Allen is a crook. I purchased a vehicle here. I would not recommend anyone to spend their hard earn money. When I purchased my vehicle the check engine light was on and transmission did not seem to be working right. I was told they would fix it. A few days later the check engine light turned on which indicates they just reset the check engine light and did not fix the problem . Two weeks later the transmission presented signs of getting worse. I called them took in for repairs. Got my vehicle back and few days later check engine on again and transmission continued to give me issue... Brought it back to them again and guess what the transmission? continues to give me problems..... I'm tired of their lies and not fixing the problem. They do a mickey mouse job so that your car warranty expires and then is your problem. There response is well we fixed when you brought in with a problem. End up paying for everything myself. :( The people that leave positive reviews have been fortunate and lucky to purchased a good vehicle. The less fortunate people end up in their hands and at mercy of their lies. The ones with problems experience their lack of honesty and customer service. I learned two lesson; first one is NEVER DO BUSINESS AGAIN with WHOLESALE AUTO (RESEDA) and second one is when buying a use vehicle go for certified pre-owned vehicles. BUYER BEWARE!!!! I caught a mistake made by this dealership in the sale price of a vehicle when I received my finance statement and, boy oh boy, did I just get the run around for an explanation.... I was looking to trade in my 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit (V8) with less than 25k miles for a car with better gas mileage. I owed $22k on my Jeep and figured I had about $10k of equity to put down on another car. Stopped in at the Wholesale Outlet as my aunt had recommended them. I saw a 2016 Lexus ES350 in the service bay and asked how much. Guy tells me $26k. I drive it. I like it. We sit down to run numbers. They offer me $31k for my trade bc it had (apparently) had some paint work done to it. The paint on my Jeep was absolutely flawless, but I figured it wasn't worth going back and forth nit-picking a couple hundred over. So after 2 hours of being there while the chewed up rims on the Lexus were being repaired, we did the financing and signing of paperwork a little rushed because I had to go pick up my son from school. So the car finally comes out, the inside was absolute filth but I had to go and figured I could just clean it myself, no problem. I get 30 minutes away and hear a ringing sound that is not my phone. Here the service tech left his phone inside the car. So I called the dealer to let them know I had a phone and I was a half hour away. They didn't even offer to come get the phone or at least meet me half way, which should have been my first indication of the level of class these guys have. A couple weeks later, my tags are in. Great! I drive to the dealership, which is 45 minutes from my house, and they can't find the bracket for the front tag and tell me they have to order it. Wouldn't this have been something you would have done BEFORE texted me my tags were in???? So the bracket comes in and after two no-shows of promised delivery, I wake up one morning to find it sitting on my front porch. Gee, thanks! Luckily, I was able to install it myself. Same day I get my finance statement in the mail and saw that the amount financed almost as high as the original $26k selling price. I pulled the paperwork and texted my salesmen, and was instantly fed a crock of crap excuse. The salesman advised they changed the sale price of the to offset the "inequity" of the car. Um....what???? Not only is it immoral, but also illegal to manipulate the sales prices of an item in any way that affects sales tax. I have purchased a new car almost every other year for the past 10 years and have never had a legitimate dealership change the sales price of a car. He said he had to look into it further and get back to me Monday. Monday, no call (Surprise). Tuesday, no call so I texted him, no response. Wednesday they call me back telling me how they're "fine print" indicates a $2k trade in credit. So now, they are saying that they only offered $28k for my Jeep and that I accepted...lmao! Still doesn't explain the excess $3500 charged. The Sales manager Fabio is as slippery as they come. After laughing at their excuses and going around in circles all morning, I've decided it's probably better to just go the legal route. I'll be contacting my company's lawyer, the MVC, BBB, State of NJ DMV licensing dept. and every single other outlet I can until this is resolved. Thank God for screen shots and audio recorders. Bottom line, if you are a younger female, just save yourself the time and trouble and go to a REAL dealership like I should have, because these guys will rob you blind! read more
