Bad customer service , it's been three months since I have my car I called to find out about my license plate the lady who deals with the license plates said that she will leave them out I called in on Saturday morning to make sure that she left them out I was rushed off the phone by one of the customer service people who told me to just come down that my license plates will be there once I drove there way from Torrance I was told that my plates were not left out and that there was nothing that they can do until Monday because it's the weekend. Bought my very own first car here! Found it on AutoTrader.com and went to look at it. Before even viewing it in person, we asked for pictures because there weren't any up on the site yet. Jose was so helpful to go out with his own phone and take pictures to send to us. Once there, he helped us with the test drive and was very knowledgeable about the vehicle as he had once worked for Toyota. Once I decided to actually purchase the car, Allen very graciously walked us through each of the various charges. The only warning I give regarding this place is to ask up front what the extra charges will be specifically. The ad states that there are extra fees, but does not give their exact amounts; we were a little surprised and hesitant after hearing about the amount, but still wanted the car (this is the reason for the 4 stars as we were not aware of this extra amount at the start). Again, Allen was very helpful and explained everything in detail as we asked. Finally, completing the paperwork for financing etc. we were with Puya who also was extremely helpful. Each time he put a paper in front of me to sign he summarized what it stated so I knew exactly what I was getting into. I felt like I had a good understanding of what I was signing. He also gave many great suggestions regarding various insurance options and payment plans, and was able to drop my interest rate down from what was originally assigned to me! Everyone we interacted with was kind and helpful, bringing water and cookies and making sure we were comfortable. I am so grateful for each of these men who helped me with this purchase! This probably the worse experience i ever had shopping for a car ..the manager was extremely rude..after drove 1hr30min to get.. i don't even think he's trying to sell me a car...he kept repeatedly telling to listen while he's not really answering my question directly..i understand as a sellman you have to be aggressive but this is rude..after adding bunch of different charges, the 2016 ford f150 xl they post in the ads was $15,697 turn into 20k something (not completely remembered the but after i see the 20 i was shock)if something is preinstalled already and it's not by the dealer you should included in the ads not as a SURPRISE HIDDEN FEES and at least he should ask what you have in mind or what's your budget or something.. all he say is if you think you can do better go somewhere else and get it ..i think he trying to set an example to the new guy next to him(the new guy have way better manner then his manager hopefully he don't an A-hole like that, still the manager was so bad i had to give 1 star) so that's my story..this is probably the first time i gives out 1 star and wrote something this long on yelp... read more

This is the very worst place to buy a car!!!!! In May 2017 we bought a 2011 BMW X6 and we left Karsplus at 10:00 pm at night. The car starting messing up on our way home. I called the next morning and they told me to call the extended warrenty company, the warrenty company said it was Karsplus responsibility because the warrenty hasn't started yet. From then on it's been a giant pain in the butt. The transmission has been replaced and still doesn't work and get stuck in the highest gear, sometimes it won't start for a couple days and then suddenly will start, dies on the freeway, the middle of an intersection, or anywhere really, a laundry list of shit. I gave up trying to get them to take the car back from day 1 and we exausted all the warrenty in the first month we had the car. I have only driven the car 5 or 6 times and 5 times it broke down on me and I am still paying on the car. Karsplus DID NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT OR OFFER ANY HELP OTHER THAN THEIR MECHANIC WHICH WE HAD TO PAY FOR!!!!! Never again will I deal with this company!!!! Super nice until they sell you a lemon and then all of a sudden you can't get an answer or you get the run around then after a few months... crickets. You just get silence. I feel this should be against the law!!! I work hard for my money and should be protected from something like this especially a just bought car that breaks down on the way home from the dealership. I cosigned for my son's 1st car here in 2014, what a rip off. The car had major problems a month after he got it and the warranted repair shop not only did not repair it correctly after having the car for a week they created more problems. We spent way too much money for the car but we traded it in at a reputable dealer for a new car. So I thought I'd give this place a shot - only because they had a vehicle that I wanted for what seemed like a fair price. So my friend and I went over to look at a couple of vehicles. We took them for a test drive and liked one over the other. He was really very helpful, desperate to sell, but helpful enough. He didn't seem to know much about the cars he was selling. So we applied for credit. They wanted $2,000 DP. As soon as I said we could only put down $500, his tone changed right away sounding very irritated. At the end, he blurted something like, "You're wasting my time." So we walked. LOL. I ended up going to a Toyota dealer to get a newer truck for a difference of about $75 in monthly payment. I feel very comfortable for not buying the truck at Karplus. I may never go back there again. read more

As soon as i pulled in i was automatically approached by a very nice salesman(who's name I forgot because I was very nervous about buying my first car). He was very nice and knowledgeable about cars. This place is more like swat meat then a car dealership! I look up the CARFAX website and found this place for used pick up trucks! On the CARFAX site it shows very low price. So I called and they said it is still available for that price. So I drove all the way down to the dealer to see and test drive the car! OH MY GODSH! The car was trashed, inside and out! Scratch all over place. Seen like they didn't even go through the car after they bought it in or repo in their inventory. They did not even make any effort to make it nice or clean, and put it out in the market right away try to sell it. People who buy used car is either they don't have too much money or credit problems, the dealer should understand every penny count for their hard earn money, and be respectful at least clean and make the car looks good, so that we feel our money is worth it for those cars! They don't show those effort , means they don't care about you! They just want to try take as much cash from you as they can! On the lot, On the windshield, the price sticker they had on is like $6,000.00 more then they posted on CARFAX website! So I ask the sales to sell me the price that is on CARFAX site. He say he will ask the manager! From that point on, it was hell. The sales man came back after 30 minutes with a document for me to sign， without tell me what that document is. Luckily I didn't sign and look up that document, it is the out of door price they want to sell me, with $5,0000 more then what it is offer! So I say that's not the price I expect. Then they start with another person , so call sales manger, can to our table and says, the car come with tracking system. That is why the charge is different. So I told them take the tracking system off . I don't need it and I don't want to be track by you, since I buy with cash, not finance. Then after that it starts with other sales associate , one after another and try to explain the same thing! I kept tell them no. I just want my price plus tax and registration fee to complete this sale. After 3,4th sales associate, or managers, they figure I was not going up with the price they ask for, then the last manager we talked to basically look at me and tell me I have anxiety issue that make me offer that crazy price. Treat me like I was from a mental institute patient! They keep saying they are the largest used car dealer! It is a joke! Used car dealer who cares about what your money worth it spend on, they will have better respect on their inventories, at least a clean car appearance. Better customer service who will try effort to listen to your needs. Not just what they are asking for! I finally find another truck and bought the truck at another used car dealership in La Habra. They have clean , repaired , newer, nicer used cars! I bought my truck nicer condition and $5,000.00 less then I this dealership is offering me! No BS, straight forward and honestly with good customer service! Watch what you are buying, and pricing! Do your home work before you decide to go this place. Not the place to buy a reliable car. They will tell you things will be fixed with your car before you sign the contract. Then they won't fix what was promised after you bought the car. I am very disappointed with this dealership. After 2 months of buying the car. It started breaking down. The leaks were not fixed, my car wasn't even cleaned inside out, and I had to take the car back to have an oil change. It was the worse experience I ever had. I would never go back there. the worst! they advertised a corolla on carfax.com for $6000.00. i went there prepared to purchase it. but they said the price was almost 9000.00 because of the gps and alarm system installed. they didn't care about the ad i showed them. then they tried to haggle the price to 8500.00. i walked out, and wasted half of my day. very misleading advertising! they are sneaky & slippery. imagine if trump were a car salesman. stay away from this place. i also reported them to the f.t.c. and complained to carfax.com. in fact, they are giving carfax.com a bad name. JR M's response below claims he has no record of me visiting the car lot. He's trying to spin my complaint as illegitimate. This happened March 9. Do your research and be on your game too if you are going to shop here. The car salesman may be nice but remember after all... they are CAR SALESMAN. Some tips...before you go to the lot look on their website as their internet price is different. Also do internet search of the KBB price. When you go to the lot to test drive inspect EVERYTHING. Take out the trunk liner, pop the hood, drive it on the freeway, inspect the spacing in the hood, trunk, and between the tires, etc. The car I bought had frame damage and rust corroding due to the minimal patch up job. Finally, they will offer you a "warranty" from Portofolio Protection. They will LIE TO YOUR FACE about this coverage. If you read the fine print it is a extended service and not a warranty. It tells you that you must bring your car back to the dealership if it is within 40 miles. Also there is no contact info on their brochure. So you would do better by paying for repairs out of pocket. read more

When asked if they'd replace it, the gentleman on the phone was RUDE, & said that, "no dealership would replace it". I think he's wrong though; after just two months of me owning the car, I think a GOOD dealership WOULD replace it.
