I was devastated, my husband and I planned on having a second child and were shocked to hear this may be impossible. I was told that IVF was not even an option. The doctor informed me that my hormone levels were off balance and my body was not fertile and would likely never be again. I was only 36 years old and told I was going into early menopause. I was desperate for help and willing to try anything. I made an appointment with Betty and came in several more times throughout the month. I missed my last appointment to go on vacation and planned on coming back when I got back. Luckily, I never needed to make another fertility appointment...I was pregnant! 9 months later I was approaching my due date and worried I would have to be induced. I came in to see Betty again for a few sessions and felt very centered and relaxed after. I went into labor the next day and was able to delivery non medicated as I had hoped for! I'm sure there were a lot of things that contributed to successfully getting pregnant and going into labor, but I would like to think that accupuncture had something to do with it. It's very relaxing and worth a shot for anyone willing to give it a try!

Dr. Kim took his time to 'read' us and our bodies, explained in detail what the acupuncture procedure was and then performed it on both of us. We both noticed less pain, more mobility at the end of the procedure and felt more focused. My wife told me that she even felt taller and more alert. Dr. Kim is very kind and talked to us about the benefits of acupuncture, cupping (which we also did during this initial visit) and correct breathing. Both I and my wife were very pleased with the results and plan to go back to address other issues. Dr. Kim's receptionist was also one of a kind, very sweet and accommodating. We will definitely not only go back but also spread the word about our experience. Thank you Dr. Kim, see you soon.

I started going to Great Wall Chinese Medicine a few months ago to help with hormone balance,…read moremental focus, anxiety, aches and pains, and difficulty sleeping. I now go once a month and combine acupuncture, massage, moxibustion, and herbs that I take between visits. The difference I've experienced has been remarkable. My ability to focus has improved tremendously, my anxiety is much more manageable, and if I rated my sleep before starting at about a 3 out of 10, I would now rate it an 8 or 9. The herbs have been especially helpful for maintaining the benefits I experience between my monthly visits and have made a significant difference in my sleep. At this point, I continue going because of how much better I feel overall. I honestly feel healthier than I have in ten years. For me, the key has been consistency and using the different modalities together rather than treating this as a one-time visit. Acupuncture, massage, moxibustion, and the herbs between appointments have become part of my overall wellness routine, and I'm extremely grateful for the improvement I've personally experienced.

I want to state the acupuncture practitioners here are excellent. I cannot say anything good about…read morethe management and so I will let my experience speak for itself. This review documents my experience with a manager who did not take responsibility for employee errors and outright refused to honor my sessions. As of the writing of this complaint, I have 9 sessions 'accrued' at the Franchise. The manager is refusing to refund me after not honoring the bookings I made for them. See attached photos. Instead, he insisted I trade the value I paid $39/session into 'ad-hoc' sessions and cancel my plan. I was being considered for an out of state job where there is no Modern Acupuncture location, so I didn't want to keep 'adding' to the account total which I why I booked all of the sessions I had remaining. I explained if I didn't end up moving out of state, I would happily buy more and asked to pause billing on 11/17 which is also when I did the scheduling for my sessions. I noticed my credit card was billed $159 on 11/19 AFTER I had gone into the business and specifically asked not to be charged given the fact I had enough sessions already especially if I had to relocate. The manager said they would NOT be honoring the bookings since his employee made a mistake. (Ever heard of customer service?) Instead, he wanted to cancel my plan and leverage all the session funds I had on file totaling over $300 and convert them into HIGHER PRICED sessions. I said ABSOLUTELY NOT. I want a refund instead. He refused. I won't be strongarmed into this kind of unethical situation where my value as a customer is completely disregarded and disrespected. As a result I've had to file complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General Office. While the staff are wonderful aside from the Manager, I was made to feel completely disrespected and that my only value as a customer was money, money, money not loyalty. I'm glad at least I can share my experience to protect others from the same treatment.

But I was even more satisfied as he is a GREAT acupuncturist. His technique was gentle and effective. So if you are SCARED of needles I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Lee as he was quick and I couldn't feel 95% of the needles going in which helped me relax. I came to see Dr. Lee to get acupuncture to relieve my headache pain along my right neck, left shoulder scapular, and lower right back pain. He was able to immediately relive my pain and my body felt lighter and I was able to move better after treatment. Dr. Lee also had a stim machine that connected to the needles which helped my muscles immensely. I highly recommend seeing Dr. Lee or other acupuncturist for those looking for a natural/holistic approach to treat and improve their health and wellness. I look forward to continuing treatments with Dr. Lee!!
