We've been going to this group for over 10 years. They treat us like family. When I was first starting my new job, they asked what I could pay as a copay. I told them there's no way I could pay $30 per visit. They said no problem. "We will never turn someone away because of cost... but we will if they aren't serious about getting healthy." They started me at $10 per visit. Over the course of years my copay increased as I was able to afford it. Finally, a few years ago they began to take my insurance, UHC. I think they are finally making some money off my families treatment . They've helped with kids sports injuries, car accidents, and even provided surgical options for us at different times. I was highly recommended to Preferred Rehab by two of my friends, both powerlifters. I have had two back surgeries. In trying to identify my current pain in my lower back and shoulder, with updated X-ray and MRI results, the outcome shows I have arthritis in my neck and lower back from the past surgeries, and a frozen shoulder. He made me feel very comfortable because he's just a regular guy who is down to earth and good at his job. I've been going to see Dr. Gillen for a long time now. If it wasn't for me moving out of town, I'd still be seeing him on a weekly basis. From the moment I walked into his office in Gilbert, I was treated like I was his primary concern. Over the course of my treatment, he asked me a ton of questions to get the big picture about my back pain. He took X-rays, provided great information, and even explained everything in a way that I could understand. He doesn't sugar coat things, which I prefer because I am a prior service Army Veteran and don't want to waste my time and want this facts straight up. I have only had positive experiences with various chiropractors, including Steve my first time there. I've only been going for the last 6 months and have been treated extremely well, they have adjusted to my schedule, and I have felt cared for. Both locations have been great, my pregnant wife has been down to Dr. Erica at the QC location, and my 2 year old went to her when he was digging to sleep at night. I had the worst experience with this chiropractor. I got the "bait and switch" when I didn't sign up for their unlimited services cash pay plan that they sprung on me 9 months into being a customer there. I have a very common insurance company and they conveniently only take one insurance program (UHC) so if you have any other, you have to pay cash. For the 9 months I was able to pay a co-payment of an agreed upon amount and come as needed. Today I was humiliated and embarrassed in their office. I went in to be seen, 7 months pregnant with severe back pain and after checking in and waiting for 20 minutes, and I was brought back into the chiropractor's office (Dr. Gillen) by a young woman that I had never seen before. She said, "I'm afraid there has been a misunderstanding. You are not signed up for a monthly plan, and if you'd like ti sign up for one, it will cost $200. You can be seen today without signing up for a plan for $135. I said that I will no longer be going there as their prices have changed so dramatically. I walked out of there, still in pain and so embarrassed that I had been rejected as a paying customer unless I agreed upon their new "changes". Nothing had changed on my end, no changes in insurance, etc. When I was a new patient, this chiropractor raved about how amazing he was. Offered me the sun the moon and the stars, sent his personal cell phone number. Even checked in to see how I was after my first adjustment...I saved that number and asked to be called to provide my feedback regarding my experience today and received no response. Do not waste your time on these scam artists...you will be sorely disappointed unless you give them all your money and let them change prices on you after they gain your trust. read more

SO I made an appointment a few weeks ago for a massage. The phone call took about 15 minutes- the girl scheduling me had no idea what she was doing and after every question she asked, there was like a 2 minute pause. I had to keep asking if she was on the line. She sounded super young so I figured maybe she was still learning. Well I get to my appointment a week later and I wasn't greeted at all by the THREE receptionists who weren't even busy. I went up and had to address them first. And guess what! I didn't have an appointment set in the system. Go figure. And instead of apologizing and setting up a new one, they just kept repeating "yeah, uh, we don't have you in the system." It doesn't take 3 people to set up an appointment. Took a while, but eventually I got a new appointment in. p.s. If I could leave less stars that would be better. I started going here back in 2016 and at that time they would have my insurance company send me checks every 2 weeks and then have me sign the check over to them. Well jump forward to 2019 and they are now saying I didn't sign a check over to them and it's been past due for 3 years! I have several co workers from the same company that also experienced this. It seems like they were working the system and taking advantage of the insurance policy as there were times I told them I did not want certain things but they said " it's free " let's just do it. The lack of communication during this process has been a nightmare. I understand they have new management but they are still the same company. If they ever ask you to sign checks over... Totally bummed with my experience here. The service they offer seems fine, but I do not agree with their business practices. They tried to get me on the hook for nearly $2k for a 6 month program, and when I told them I would rather pay as I go, they said it would basically cost me 10x as much. Why do you need to get someone to agree to shell out so much before even helping them? If you truly believe in your service, then why not offer a pay as you go program for a similar price? I knew it was going to be a bad situation when they took me in the back room to give me their lengthy spiel which basically went over a bunch of stuff I already knew about my back and neck... meanwhile I am in horrific amounts of pain and just want them to help me and charge me for the visit.. and then the guy tried to win me over by saying it looks like I work out.. ha.. I look like I sit at my desk all day so I knew right then the extreme levels at which he was BSing me. The restroom would be fine if not for the robot that sprays you with harsh smelling chemicals as soon as you walk in. I can still taste that nasty assault from yesterday. Blech. read more

Steve and Todd are some of the friendliest people you'll ever meet. When it's slow they'll just come sit in the waiting room and chat with you while you do paperwork or wait for someone. I had never been in an accident before and Dr. Rogers and his staff were excellent in helping me get into a wellness plan to start feeling better as well as even referring me to my lawyer.
