Very cool ambiance, like the vibe except that our light at our table was going on and off. I felt like I might have a seizure. This is a Michelin restaurant. We all tried the tasting menu. I asked if the tasting menu was going to be enough for my 6'4" 200lb son and my husband. The waitress said yes, well we ended up adding 3 more dishes. The tasting menu was ok. The food was beautiful in presentation. Very Japanese in styling and food. Each course was very different. The food all in all was weird in terms of flavors. They were very one note like the endive salad was very bitter with no sweet or richness. The mushrooms were good but felt very muddy in flavor. They covered the mushrooms with so much sauce it muddied the flavor. The memorable items were the pork loin, the sirloin, and the desserts were very good. The extras we order were excellent, hot to get the milk bread was delicious. The sirloin was very good and the dumpling, their specialty was ok. The skin is very thick and again found the shortrib lost in the dumpling. The desserts were very good, the matcha crepe was very good with a coffee sauce. Caramel wonton dessert was also very good The sorbet and pink sand cake was excellent. All in all, the experience was good 3.5 The ambiance -4 Food-3 Desserts- 5

Omg. I loved this place so much!! If I ever went back to Miami and go here! Stumbled upon this listening bar and my husband and I just wanted a chill night with good drinks and good music and this place was it! We sat at the bar and the bartender was so friendly and nice! He asked what we liked and came up with such good suggestions. From the hostess up front to the waiters that served our food to even the DJ, the whole vibe was amazing. The food was so so good, we got the Crudo and dumplings for some light snacks while drinking, and all I can say is...get them! you wont be disappointed. Delicious drinks and food=amazing night.

Kaori Miami was a great dining experience in the middle of Brickell. The staff were fantastic; warm and attentive. The wine list was thoughtfully curated, with a range of interesting selections. The menu leans into Asian-inspired flavors with creative twists. My favorites were the crispy duck salad, which was bold, textural, and well balanced, and the beef tartare, which was rich and flavorful with just the right kick. A chic spot that nails both service and food. I'll be back for the tasting menu.

Oyster $1.50 during happy hour

Super cute spot in brikkel that curates the bar music perfectly. The drinks are unique and it somhar dromchose just one. The gem here are the $1.50 oysters during happy hour. Normally you would pay 3x that. Definitely worth a stop on a happy hour bar crawl or a taking a break while shopping

There's a DJ down stairs but we didn't hear her upstairs which was nice!

I had to give this place 5 stars for multiple reasons. The hype is real so I'll get right to it! Originally we wanted to try this place because of the MiamI Spcie option but since we were a group of 7-8, we couldn't participate since they only do up to 6. Not a problem since we were willing to share a bunch of things. First, the hostess was super sweet and very inviting. She was very accommodating which really made the night start off great. The waiter was also very sweet and very knowledgeable. We ordered drinks and got started ordering a bunch from the menu. I think we got almost one of everything! My faves were the cucumber salad, the gyoza, the fried rice, and the steak on the stone (can't think of the name). But truthfully every dish we had was divine. Truly a 5 star experience. Great ambiance. Great vibes. Food was amazing. Service was amazing. Would love to come back!

I might be setting a record on how many updates I have on a review...but I still get inspired to rave about Kaori after every great experience I have there. This time, went for Miami Spice with family - incredible service from Manuela. Super helpful on recommendations and clearly very passionate about the food. Amazing wine service from Francisco - each selection was beautifully described and always a hit. Don't miss the grilled mushrooms (trust me), the milk bread or the Mee Siam noodle dish. But you really can't go wrong with anything.

Annika D.

Disclaimer is that this was the Miami Spice menu, so the full menu might have delivered more impressively. Portions here were on the smaller side, and were a hit or miss. The presentation was wonderful and ambience was elegant. But the Bahn Mi was so dry and hard that it was difficult to eat. The drinks and desserts were unique and felt like an experience to try. If I were to return I'd likely go for a happy hour and appetizers setting, might be more worth the $$.

I like the vibe of this place because they play good music. The server was relatively attentive. As far as the food, the dumplings were pretty good. The drink tasted like a gin and tonic. I liked the fried rice a lot, but the steak was very much room temperature. We informed the waiter, but he said that when they cook meat medium rare they have to let it breathe a bit, however we order the steak medium. Overall this place is pretty good, but it is way pricier than you would expect for the quality of the food.

Unbelievable food and experience. Obviously I'm no food critic, but I would put this up there with some of the Michelin star restaurants we've visited. The presentation, unique menu, service, quality of food, variety of flavors and textures, all of the above just blew my husband and I away! We've talked about going back at least a dozen times in just the few weeks since we went. If it wasn't for the price tag we would. We had a hard time ranking any of the dishes in order of most to least favorite, even the starter milk bread (don't skip ordering the milk bread). The wagyu (we only did 2oz to try it and it was worth it) , scallops, and soup dumplings were all incredible and tied for equally amazing. The noodles were great but not to the same level of incredible as the rest. 10000% recommend trying this place for a nice date night and is not like some of the other over hyped places in Miami.

Joanna V.

This place is a 5/5 on atmosphere alone. Love the stylish bar and the knowledgeable bartenders. Mario was really on his game. The quality of the cocktails were on point. And the food!! Wow, I only had the opportunity to try one dish, the fried rice. But what a massive bowl of deliciousness!! Genuinely, massive in portion and truly one of the best fried rices I've had in Miami hands down. The live dj really makes for a special dining experience, not a quiet one, but definitely a fun night out.

Elizabeth L.

Intimate ambiance and very friendly staff. Didn't realize there is a second floor but it's perfect for a date! The duck dish was very expensive for very little amount but it was the most delicious duck I've ever had in my life - I've had a lot of duck. This dish just melted in my mouth! Got some other appetizers that were pretty good and the banana walnut old fashion. Very creative and tasty :)

As a resident of the building it took me way too long to try this spot! It has a great ambiance inside and the food is incredible!! Top level gourmet food. Most items I tried were 10/10 and I have a picky palette. I personally put this up to the cuisine level of my favorite Miami restaurant LA Mar. Top quality food, yes it's pricy but you are not overpaying. Best hh deal for oysters I will go back just for the oysters for sure

Melissa L.

Honestly, we had such a great experience. I had only ever heard of this restaurant from the Miami spice list so of course I went for Miami spice and immediately walking in. She was giving artisanal yet high class vibes. We ordered two different miami spice menus, and we were able to share. My favorites were the pork chop and strawberry dessert. The service was excellent. She was kind, friendly and very attentive. I would definitely recommend adding this restaurant to your Miami spice list.

The perfect start to the night. Bree took over once our table was ready and everything just flowed. Attentive, warm, and completely on top of it without ever missing a beat. And the food... every single dish felt like an experience and somehow better than the last!!! I genuinely couldn't pick a favorite. Even the krunchy kale had personality (which says a lot). The branzino, steak tartare, Korean fried chicken, octopus, mussels... I'm still thinking about all of it. Kim, the manager, was consistently checking in and making sure everything was perfect, and that level of attention to detail made the entire night feel elevated. We asked to sit downstairs where the DJ starts around 11PM. The energy was great with incredibly comfortable and spacious seating. Let's start with the good, because credit where it's due: the food is genuinely excellent, particularly the fish and seafood, which were the clear stars of the spread. And our server, while I'll get to a quibble shortly, was fun, warm, and thoroughly professional. Now the rest. Brunch should feel like a leisurely indulgence, not a contact sport. The meat station had a queue of 20+ people at peak -- I came for great food, not a deli ticket. The space is crowded and genuinely hard to navigate. Champagne required actively hunting down a server, whereas the Setai simply leaves a bottle at your table and lets you breathe. Coffee is $7 a cup -- at a brunch of this price point, charging for coffee feels a little cheeky. Then there was the pacing. Well before our two hours were up, our (otherwise lovely) server began the gentle wrap-up and produced the bill -- which is a curious energy for a "linger and enjoy" brunch. And we were charged an extra 2% as a "large party" of seven... at a buffet. Where we served ourselves. I'm still working out the math on that one. If you want a beautiful setting, live music, better drinks, attentive service, and zero queues, the Setai brunch wins -- every single time. Mila, save it for the nightlife.
