Tried the Pad Woon Sen (glass noodles) and they were delicious! I had medium spicy and it wasn't too bad. Menu was diverse, spanning several traditional Asian dishes. It's been a long time since I reviewed 107 Taste and a redo is due. This local spot is a Brickell gem. Their story is sweet and we love a family owned spot! The menu hits the highlights from around Asia, including Chinese, Thai, Korean, and Japanese dishes. The variety is lovely and you can really try something new each time. They do all of it pretty well too, impressive since they make so many things. Service is good and the ambiance is nice, modern and chill. Pricing is also fair. What a great experience I had here! I've only ever ordered from 107 taste in them more suburban areas and it never disappoints. I'm so happy I got to come here because boy was it delicious. For starters, the staff was friendly, the vibe was relaxed, and our whole visit was less than an hour. The spicy peanut wontons were to die for! Though smaller than expected, they were a great way to get started. I was so obsessed with the sauce, had to tell staff twice that leave me the leftovers haha. The pad Thai was incredible! I got with no noodles so that I could add the peanut sauce to it. Let me tell you, that was a game changer!!!! It added a kick and moisture to it. The yaki udon was also very good, the noodles were huge! Finishing off strong was the taro Brulee cheesecake. Just like the movie title Lost in Translation, that was exactly how I felt during my latest visit to 107 Taste; surprised, delighted, and transported back to that very first bite that made me fall in love with the place. From the moment I walked in, Valeria and Tom greeted me with smiles that stretched from ear to ear. We were immediately escorted to our seats and served chilled water, a refreshing welcome in the middle of that ever-moist Miami heat. They kept our glasses full all night, MVP-style. As I savored the lingering creamy, mildly spicy aftertaste of one of my favorite starters, the Japanese classic Takoyaki, I couldn't help but marvel at how this little cabbage-and-octopus puff can hit so many notes at once. Think of it as Japan's answer to the Spanish croqueta, only creamier, funkier, and topped with edgy fish flakes and smooth, umami-packed Asian mayo. Total flavor bomb. Next came the Blue Crab Rangoon, a Chinese-American fusion filled with crab stick, scallions, cream cheese, and served with a sweet-and-sour sauce. It's another must-try starter; comfort food, but with flair... The entrées arrived with perfect timing. This time, I went with the lighter, silkier cousin of the Pad Thai: Pad Woon Sen, made with stir-fried glass noodles. We added shrimp, and honestly, it dethroned the Pad Thai, from my top favorite. A can't-miss dish if you want the real "107 taste." Our second entrée, the Black Pepper Yaki Udon, was solid, a good shift in flavor from the Woon Sen, but a bit safe overall. It's one of those "only if you're really into it" kinds of dishes. Not bad by any means, just not the showstopper. (Also, don't be intimidated by the "pepper", it's really not that spicy.) The cherry on top? Fried donuts drizzled with condensed milk. I missed them last time, and I'm so glad I didn't this time. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, sweet and indulgent, the perfect crunchy Thai treat to end this flavor-packed journey. My pad thai was just okay; I've had better, so I'd say it was average. The pepper udon noodles had a nice chew to them and weren't too spicy, which worked well for our group. December 2024 Update: I returned to this wonderful restaurant exactly one year later a repeat Christmas Eve dining experience, and it was VERY much enjoyed. This time I got the Cheesy Noodle On Fire (with added chicken) and it was delicious. I didn't finish the entire portion because that was A LOT of food in a bowl. The amount of chicken received was more than expected, which is always a good thing. On occasion I'll use chop sticks when visiting an Asian restaurant, but the texture (thick) of this entree told me to not even try. The provided fork worked great, and I didn't embarrass myself trying. The menu description says mozzarella cheese, but I'm not sure that was used, but it was delicious and definitely "cheesy" as delivered. I continue to say it's VERY easy to recommend this location if you find yourself in the area . . . and if not, make a special trip. It's worth it. read more

In town over night before a cruise and decided to try 107 Taste. No regrets. I wish I would have gotten our waitress's name, she was very sweet and answered all our questions. My ratings for the foods we tasted: Spicy garlic edamame- 9 out of 10 Not too spicy and great flavor Pad Thai- 8.5 out of 10 This was a little sweeter than I'm used to but still really good. I'd order again. Pineapple chicken & rice- 9 out of 10 Similar to orange chicken but with pineapple. So it's sweet still slightly crispy. Cheesy Noodles- 5 out of 10 My husband ordered this and didn't really care for it though my Goddaughter tasted it and said she liked it. The waitress was great and offered to swap to a new dish. He decided on just getting veggie spring rolls and enjoyed them. The restaurant is clean, and casual with maybe 10-12 tables. Additional seating is available outside. Stopped in at this fast casual Miami Taste of Asia chain. The chain serves a variety of Asian dishes. We called ahead and made a reservation and then walked to the restaurant from our hotel as it is on the walking trail that winds through Brickell. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the host and seated. The decor is both booth and table seating, we got a table for 5 that was marked reserved. It took several minutes for our server to make her way to the table and water glasses ran dry. There were only two servers working and one was doing counter duty. They also do a brisk take out business. We ordered 2 kids chicken lo mein, General 107 chicken (think General Tso), pad thai with shrimp, chicken and pork and black pepper udon noodles. Along with gyoza and crab Rangoon starters. The food came out piece meal, we got the starters and the kids meals first, then my wife's black pepper noodles, then my pad thai and lastly my oldest son's 107 chicken. His chicken came out way past everyone else's and when I asked the server about it, she said it was bc it was fried. All the food was delicious and well cooked, I really liked the ability to pay $5.50 get three different proteins for my pad thai. My wife's black pepper udon was good but had a weird after taste (not her fave). My kids crushed their food. While I am aware that food in Miami can be expensive, I was not prepared for $126 for 5 for Asian. They charge extra when you add proteins and they place a gratuity of 18% on parties of 4 or more. read more

An absolute must try Asian spot in Miami!!! This place has been on our list for a while and we finally decided to try it. We could not have been happier with our choice. There is plenty of seating (inside and outside available), and the inside is really well decorated and inviting. The staff is really friendly, and is attentive and always checking on your table. They offer drinks which were really well made and surprised us a lot! We also started with the avocado crab spring rolls, which were delicious. For the entree, we ordered mamas pork fried rice, and I will say it is probably one of the best fried rice dishes I have ever had. A must try for sure. We also had the black pepper yaki udon which is also a must try on their menu. The plates are shareable. We liked everything so much that we ended with the Thai donuts! This place has it all, from inviting decorations, to the food, and the staff. I got seated immediately and ordered the black pepper udon, blue crab wonton, and pineapple chicken. The food came out relatively fast, and I first received the blue crab wontons. The outer skin was not like most crab rangoons skins. It was dry, thick, and more of a dumpling skin rather than wonton. It seems unauthentic as well as the sweet sauce. It tasted more like a sweet ketchup rather than a traditional sweet chili sauce. The black pepper udon was okay, the zucchini was completely raw inside and tasted off putting. The sauce that is stir fried with the noodle was a bit too strong and had a lot of hints of pepper. The pineapple chicken seemed something that was frozen and the sauce seemed like it came from a packet. The sauce had a lot of red dye in it that seemed really unnatural. It was okay as well. In conclusion, this is not authentic asian meals... It is something nice to get if you are not familiar with traditional asian meals. Slightly disappointed, but not surprised. There were literally four people in the restaurant on a grey Sunday afternoon, one takeout order and it still took forty minutes for my ramen to hit the table. Can't imagine how this place operates with a full house. Ambience is hipster Asian. Clean tables. Simple but elegant decor. They have a glass window to watch the kitchen but it's blocked by shelving. Something to consider fixing. This is a small chain. There is at least one other location. Pretty easy off the 95 to this quiet Brickell neighborhood. Decent parking. Pretty good spot for asian food. However, I would recommend against getting the Japanese ramen type, it doesn't seem like their specialty. The noodles felt doughy and honestly the flavor of the soups weren't good either. We got the miso and the kimchi ramen. Location of restaurant is convenient. Street parking seems like it would be a challenge, but we found a parking space in front of the restaurant. The restaurant is roomy and nicely decorated. Upon entering the restaurant there was no host or waiter in sight. Zero greeting. There was no "Hello, Welcome, how many in your party?!" none of the formalities one would expect at a restaurant. We waited a few minutes to no avail. Finally an odd looking fellow appeared grunted and pointed in the direction of a few tables one was dirty and the other two tables had no cutlery, napkins, and circle water stains from the previous guests. We picked the LESS dirty of the two tables. ACK! There was a party that came in after us who were taken care of before us which we found annoying as we wanted to ordered our beverages as one should expect in hot steamy Florida. Finally, the waiter came over with a bit of attitude and no introduction. We never got his name and he did not care. That much was obvious. There are two restrooms one for men and one for women. The restrooms are kept clean and orderly. We ordered a few dishes. All gross, all over fried, all overcooked, all inedible. The waiter asked if we enjoyed the food. We all lied and said we did. The food did not sit well with us. So, we beelined to the nearest gas station and purchased a much needed club soda for digestive relief. I've tried pad thai from various places and destinations, but this was unexpectedly one of my favorites. We didn't get the name of our server, a tall man with shoulder-length dark hair, but he was very nice and helpful. So I went here after shopping in Brickell and I thought this place was very cute. When you went inside, it wasn't that many people in there just a little family and two couples in the back. We sat down and the waiter gave us water, which was good because it's very hot. We ordered the bao buns which was really tasty. The buns were very soft. We ordered the crab Rangoon and oh my God these had to be the best crab I've ever had. They are made with real crab, which fantastic because most places it's made with imitation crab. We ordered Ramen, which was Szechuan. I didn't read the menu when ordering the Ramen. I looked at the picture which was a mistake because that Ramen was very spicy and it was a weird reaction I had from it. Szechuan which causes numbness and it had a weird taste. I was able to exchange it from the waiter and they brought it out to me five minutes later which was very good because it was my fault that I ordered the Ramen. I must say that the appetizers was good, but the Ramen was decent. I've had better Ramen. We ordered the chicken wings and they were very tasty. Tried this place and must say it's was beyond worth the walk for us. The setting is nice, service was excellent, and the food was beyond our expectations. When I took a bite of the shrimp I knew this is a place that takes pride in its culinary work. The shrimp was just perfect, not overcooked, not half-cooked, just perfect.
