My wife had a Pesto with her favorite kalamata olives. I had the special, "Musakhan", a Palestine style pizza as mentioned by Jason the manager. (by the way Jason is so very nice!). It was excellent with their oven roasted chicken, pine nuts and topped with a yogurt (and a few other items). It was DELICIOUS! The crust is not too thick or thin, just right. The vibe is cool being in an old firehouse. They've only got a few booths with the rest tables but really doesn't matter, it's about the pizza and the pizza is FANTASTIC.

I would say most of the time for at least the last decade whenever I order pizza after two slices, I feel super bloated and I need to take a nap. That was certainly not the case when I ate fireside. This caused me to do a bit more research and I found out the big difference is and how long they let the dough, I guess, rest so the enzymes and sugars can do their work. It goes to show paying a couple of extra bucks for quality makes a huge difference in your experience. Your stomach will thank you in the long run. I had the meats pizza and the pesto sauce was also exceptional. I don't care what kind of buy one get one free deal. I can get from any other joints in Cincinnati. Was slightly undercooked (pasta was a little hard) but the sauce was really good and would get it again! The tiramisu would delectable. Creamy and good size to share for two. Definitely a must get! If we lived in Cincinnati, this would be a spot we frequent once every few months. Its high quality ingredients and recipes, as well as reasonable prices, would drive us here for every date night. Highly highly recommend!!

We had a bit of an issue in that we made the reservation over two weeks ago with the specific request to be seated away from the kitchen door, and we ended up being seated right near the very small hostess area and of course, next to the kitchen door. Our server mostly made up for it with good service and a very nice demeanor.

Hubs and I did a half and half pizza. His half was the Alms Park and my half was bacon and pineapple. I probably could have eaten a whole pizza by myself. The blend of cheeses and their sauce - so stinking good. We also got a house salad to split. Being that this was to go - they gave us the main salad in one container with their house made croutons in a separate container and their house made vinaigrette in a separate container - it keeps everything fresh and crisp! The croutons were so delicious and fresh! On top of that, the vinaigrette was amazing. We both fell in love with it. We walked in and ordered instead of placing online or calling. The service was AMAZING! We decided to wait in our car and they walked it out to us! They were amazingly friendly and wonderful. Their pizza isn't the cheapest pizza around but it was worth the money we spent. This won't be an every week visit, but definitely a new favorite. While this location is carry-out only, it was very welcoming. They also sell bottles of wine and had signs talking about them. It was a very neat little local place. I'd like to actually try their new location where we can eat in! Do yourself a favor and try this place.

We were wandering around the area and needed something to get some sustenance to keep going and Goodfellas doesn't disappoint. Now they have whole pies but obviously I'm not going to do a whole pie while I'm bar hopping lol ! But as far as pizza goes, the pizza slices are sizable and they're about $4.50. You can get one of those and it'll be like two regular sizes of pizza and you'll be good to go for a little bit longer . They only had so many available so that was the one thing that kind of sucked because they're only really like four options. That's okay because as long as you have the classics, that's really important. When I went they had a cheese, a pepperoni, a tomato, and bacon, and maybe one or two others. They did have a little variety but it wasn't like it was a full gambit of things that you could pick from at this hour. I understand it was definitely a little bit on the later side so that makes sense. But overall this is what I would see as a spot you can do a group with to get some pizzas for everybody. For me it would just be a stop-off because there are so many other things around that you just want to be able to put something on your system before you continue on your bar journey .

We asked about seating and how to order, since we seen the $5 old fashioned on Wednesday how could we pass up not going upstairs to the bar and ordering. Vice just grabbing slice a pizza and a soda. We walked up and sat at the bar. Ordered an old fashioned each (delicious) we ordered one breadstick and nacho cheese sauce (freaking yum) and the Nonna pizza (wow yum) it took a while for our pizza but everything else was fairly quick. We had some fun conversation with the bartenders and watching the owners do some drink testing for the new menu. Let me say the pizza and breadsticks are worth the drive Liberty Twp and paying to park. The bar here is seriously stocked and bartenders were amazing. The pizza was the star of the show of course as well it should be, tut I will say the breadsticks were right up there. I may have to come back on a Wednesday again for the $5 old fashioned. Maybe just uber here so you can make it home. Pizza and old fashioned sounds like a perfect jump day event to me.

The hot honey pepperoni pizza is a perennial favorite, and when our server suggested adding ricotta cheese, we thought we would try. Wow! The ricotta really takes the dish from good to great. I'll be ordering it this way from now on. The salads at Taglio are excellent, which is a surprise for a pizza place! Well balanced and fresh with great ingredients. The servers are very friendly. Taglio has enough space for larger parties and is a great option for families. The bathrooms have several stalls and are very clean. Those with pets can eat on the tables outside on nice days. I found the prices to be fair given the quality of the food and location - close to everything in OTR. We completely…read moreunderstood that it was busy and that there would be a wait, so the wait itself was not an issue. Unfortunately, the experience from the moment we sat down until we left was extremely disappointing. First, the soda from the main machine was consistently flat. After receiving flat soda multiple times, we eventually had to ask for refills directly from the bar because that was the only way to get a drink that was actually carbonated. We ordered an appetizer, a pizza, and an Alfredo fettuccine with breadsticks and a salad with ranch. Our server was Marlo. The pizza came out a full 20 minutes before my niece's pasta. When her meal finally arrived, it was completely incorrect. Instead of what we ordered, Marlo brought chicken Alfredo fettuccine with garlic bread and a Caesar salad. My niece's entire order was wrong, and it had already taken 20 minutes longer than our food to arrive. After we pointed out the mistake, Marlo did bring out the correct pasta and breadsticks--but it took another 15 minutes. By that point, my mom and I had already finished eating. My niece was essentially left waiting for her meal while the rest of us ate. Then, when we received the check, we were charged for the chicken fettuccine Alfredo and an additional dollar for the Caesar salad, neither of which was what we ordered. Marlo did not come back to our table for quite some time, so I eventually went up to McKenzie to have the bill corrected. She fixed the charges without me explaining everything that had happened, which I admittedly should have done. What was most disappointing was that, despite the incorrect order, the significant delay, the repeated drink issues, and the fact that my niece didn't receive her correct meal until my mom and I were already finished eating, there was absolutely no attempt to acknowledge or compensate us for the experience. Instead, the only explanation we received from Marlo was that "everyone is new." While I understand that people can be new and mistakes happen, that doesn't excuse the overall lack of communication or the way the situation was handled. We left feeling both rushed and ignored, and the experience was unnecessarily frustrating. Mistakes happen in restaurants, especially when it's busy, but what matters is how those mistakes are handled. Unfortunately, we did not feel that ours was handled well at all. For the price and overall experience, I expected much better and left extremely dissatisfied.

It's a very small restaurant inside with some limited seating inside but they have a large porch out back for some outdoor seating which we took advantage of. They have a wide selection of unique pizzas. My favourite was what the called "The Vinny" which came with ricotta, olive oil, roasted garlic and of course mozzarella. An absolutely fantastic blend of flavours all on a great crust too (the crust was great for all our pizzas.) We also got a "Goodfella" which came with pepperoni, sliced Italian sausage, ground beef and bacon. This was an excellent version of a meaty pizza for sure. Last but not least we got "The Bootlegger" which came with pesto, mushrooms, spinach, and sun-dried tomatoes. I didn't personally try this one but I was told it was great as well. The service was top notch even for as busy as they were. I can't recommend this place highly enough and we'll definitely be back.

This is a review on the food that was ordered while we were at the speakeasy above the pizzeria…read more We ordered a caprese salad and the Vinny pie while upstairs at the speakeasy on a slow Thursday afternoon. The gentleman who brought us our caprese salad, didn't directly say anything to us, but instead spoke only to the bartender (as he placed the salad in front of us) and told him not to place any more orders for caprese. He seemed inconvenienced by our order and more interested in his smoke break. We were surprised at the presentation and at the lack of flavor but assumed that the pizza would be amazing! based on what we had read and heard - but were incredibly disappointed. The pizza was flavorless and Incredibly greasy. Our impression is that this must be a great location for college students or those who have enjoyed their drinking experience and need some grease to sober them up and don't mind what they are eating. We were very let down in our experience and the lack of professionalism from the employee who seemed to think that since he was in the speakeasy, he didn't need to be professional.
