Just a quick update, they moved inside the building next to the elevator, they offer the same kind of merchandise like what they carried before. We love to shop at this store and we love their frozen wonton.

New grocery store in cultural plaza! Went there for lunch 2 days ago and when we walked past the stage we were like wait something's different. Oh it's a new store! It's been vacant for a while glad to see that there's new tenants moving in. It's located right behind the stage, right across from Simply Sichuan. It's small and simple but clean and everything's organized. You can find snacks such as crackers, almond cakes, egg rolls, potato chips, etc. Besides snacks they also carry instant noodles and coffee, sauces and seasonings, Chinese herbal products. Now everything is 10 % off due to grand opening. The owner also gave us a free snack! How nice was that!

If you love browsing supermarkets, Kanjico is a fun place to visit. There's a wide variety of items here including snacks, drinks, spices, dried noodles, etc. I appreciated how clean and organized the shop is. It's not the biggest store, but it's packed with heaps of interesting items. What's cool is the fact that they carry a small collection of Trader Joe's items! A major bonus is the parking situation; validated parking at Cultural Plaza.

This store is spacious, bright, and new. Everything is very organized and easy spot the price. Compared to the main store, this one has mainly snacks and edible items, but a lot of more fragrance and cosmetic items. We even found some items cheaper at this store. The weird thing about this store is the flooring is not level. About 8 feet from the windows toward the parking lot, the floor slants down, so your cart will run away or you might feel a little dizzy from the imbalance. Overall, a nice spacious and clean store with a good amount of Asian snacks and food items. A nice addition to the neighborhood. No need to go into town now for these things. Cashiers were nice and friendly. Besides the unleveled floor, this is a more comfortable place to shop compared to the main store.

I heard the Waipahu location has gachapon games too. Fun!! I wanna check it out! The Pearl Kai location I frequent the most has a variety of snacks from all over the world, and the workers there gave me some samples to try. I took my friend there to shop and they also gave her samples. My only problem is I buy too many yummy snacks! Lol! I always leave with a box! Hahaa. Please check them out. I think this location also has a beverage drink place inside now. Yum yum for my tum tum!

I always come here "just to look," but end up with a gigantic, branded reusable bag filled to the brim with imported Asian snacks. Many Chinese products, but also Korean, Japanese, Thai, etc. Snacks range from exotic chip flavors to candies and sodas. Further back you'll find more substantial instant noodle meals. The Chinese ones are actually great and are way more complex ingredients-wise than your standard instant noodle. Also in the back are Chinese cooking ingredients such as sauces and dry goods, but my favorite is the super thick, wide glass noodles that I use for hot pot. There's also a small section with Asian toiletry products that I've personally never tried. I must say it feels like there is less variety of items since they moved locations. Some snacks are repeated in different spots on the shelves to make it look like there's more variety. My favorite latiao that I used to get at their old location is no longer available. :( I'll keep coming back regularly because they're always getting new items in stock.

Then the other time I went and the store was supposed to be open and no one was there yet. Because all these snacks come in internationally, the goods need to go through customs. So if you go in on the day when they just received shipment, bingo! You're lucky to find a lot of good things (I think). I haven't had any of those days. It's a pretty clean and big store. You can find a lot of foreign type of snacks. Chips, cookies and candies. I'm not a big risk taker at trying to eat something i don't know, but all the seaweed chips are delish!

This is one of my favorite foods, SO of course I had to go check it out for myself. Unfortunately, at the time I went there it wasn't available, and was told it wouldn't be available until about 10:30 am. So, I browsed around Little Manila Market... It's a small market and the name says what exactly you'll find here. I seen there was Puto; A steamed rice cake slightly sweet & topped with cheese for $7 for a pack of 6. I purchased a container, Let me say it was very delicious! I opened it up in my car on my way to work and couldn't stop eating it. If I could have I would have eaten all of it before reaching Waikele. I wanted to share some with my husband so I shared 2 with him. I'll be back for more! Hot foods are available: Wednesdays, Saturdays & Sundays. Location: Ho'opili next to Haus Of Puas. Parking: Street Parking. Seating: Outdoor, tables with umbrellas. Looking forward to trying their Filipino hot dishes & picking up a container or two of Puto. One for me and one for the husband.

I happen to see a Instagram reel by Joshybu, made me add this to the list to visit ASAP. Note, there are 2 Little Manila Market, the other one is in Waipahu this is at Ewa Beach, located at Ho'opili, great location/convenient for residences of Ho'opili and for those on the west side. Ample street parking and there are few tables out front to enjoy the goods! The store is cozy in the corner, Filipino grocery store that offers a wide range of authentic products, including snacks, ingredients, frozen foods, household items, including pancit canton, my favorites. They carry few local products which I was surprise to see the Pork Hash Factory frozen pork hash and bottled sauce. I enjoyed browsing, now I know where to go when I need more goods when I am on this side of the island. One of the reasons to visit, was the hot foods, this is available on weekends only, I wanted to try the empanada ( from Instagram reel) and the foods but when I arrived after 1 pm, they were all sold out of most of the hot foods. Bummer, note for next time to come early. The only item I got was dessert which we enjoyed. The hot foods is located at the front of the store near entrance. What did I end up getting, pork hash factory sauce ( $3.50) frozen bag of Saba ( bananas) pancit canton noods and bottle of pre-mixed vinegar with the chili pepper in it. The prices wasn't bad. All in all, I am glad I got to visit Little Manila Market, now I need to try the empanadas & hot foods.,-Next time! Oh, it is little Manila Market but filled with TONS of goods!

I haven't tried their hot and ready foods, but the foods that we get to cook with are top notch in quality and value. Hubs is one of those guys who will drive the cart and add what he sees and wants to try, so when I just need one or two things, I leave him home. What can I say, sometimes willy nilly shopping can get expensive! The staff are all friendly and helpful and they have spotlighted areas in Japan which rotate regularly. If you want to know what area they are spotlighting, I suggest getting on the digital mailer so you can see the sales and specials. If you are a fan of wagyu and kurobota pork, this is your spot. When I make sweet and sour spare ribs, this is the only place that I can find the ribs cut long way (makes for more meat and easier eating). If you are a fan of hot pot, they have soups ready to go. They also have veggies and noodles premade and all the cuts of meat for that shabu shabu experience. You can find them right on Kapiolani though you can barely seem them from the street view as it's not the prominent located spot as they're located right below The Republik right beside the ramp where you can find several parking stalls it shares with other tenants. Open daily except Sunday I love how clean and spacious the shop is where each item is labeled along with price so you know without picking up the item to search makes browsing very easy with items like drinks, snacks both savory and sweet and of course display case filled with various banchan. Love the convenience of this location and now know that I can now find some of the unique items they carry and though I didn't walk away with banchan on this day know that my cravings will certainly bring me back. Not bad, but definitely not the best I've had, not enough sesame oil for my taste. They also have the popular fried strawberries snacks for sale. I also got a frozen musubi and some abalone congee to try. (The congee is really tasty!) There's also the famous fancy hotel kimchi for sale here if that's what you're into.
