Shopping in Aiea, O'ahu, Hawai'i... We were at the Honolulu location of 1-2 Buy in Kaka'ako when the cashier told us that the Soft Opening for their second location, One 2 Buy was that day... July 13, 2025. Irene and I looked at each other and said: Let's Go!!! One 2 Buy is located on the Kamehameha Highway side of Pearl Kai Shopping Center, next to Queen's Urgent Care. Look for the bright green shopping bags in the windows! This store is cleaner and brighter than the Kaka'ako location. It seems more organized and has so many cute plushies, snacks, grocery items, tissues, and Lafufus! I actually got two because the prices were lower than the Honolulu location! The guy at the checkout table was very friendly and efficient. He gave us a nice shopping bag and a large handful of candy! Thank you!

Came to this shopping center to buy lunch. Heard about this place so wanted to check it out first. As we were browsing, we noticed there were a lot of prices written on painter's tape or no prices at all. There was only one worker so when I had a price question for something that was in the back of the store, she had to glance around, run to the back to look at the item, gave me her answer then ran to the front. I was interested in a few other items that wasn't priced but didn't want to bother her so I passed. When I return, I'm hoping all items will be priced. They have a LOT of foreign snack items but noticed they were pricey...guess this is due to the tariffs. Hmmm, if you think about it, it's cheaper than flying to the foreign countries to pick it up. This place doesn't have their name posted outside yet. They are located on Kamehameha Hwy in the Pearl Kai Shopping Center right next to Queen's Island Urgent Care. There's a lot of free parking but it's shared by other businesses so it's always crowded.

Snacks galore.. It's even easier now as 1-2 buy has opened their 2nd location at Pearl Kai Shopping Center in Aiea as we found out after visiting their Kaka'ako location and the staff told us about their soft opening today in Aiea and that it had a bit more stationary items we just had to dash over and check them out. Located in Pearl Kai Shopping Center it took a bit of search to find them but we did as their right next to the Queen's Urgent Care which is perfect if you're heading east out the entrance is just right off the street and with lots of free parking to choose from you know that much easier than the town location. You can definitely see that it's not the warehouse vibe like the town location and with all merchandise on the shelving is very nice as items are out of the box and really able to see the various items much easily. All the yummy exotic flavors and the unique items that we love are found here as well along with some stationary items were found in the back of the store but what's prominent here as well are the Labubu...well looks like them amongst a lot of others as well were here lots of blind boxes which I think was fun as well looking pretty cute and I just couldn't resist a couple of them as the price was a deal along with lots to choose from, though we did arrive at their soft opening so no price tags are listed yet as I browsed around though the staff promptly informed us on the price of each item as we checked out and to confirm our purchases. What a treat it is as we checked out and had our items bagged he grabbed a handful of candies as well was a nice treat added to our treats and am so happy that we have found this new place for my cravings and so much more. Thank you!

1-2 Buy Hawaii opened a new store at the Pearl Kai Shopping Center. They are located on the end of the center closest to the Mcdonalds side, right next to the Queen's Urgent Care. They specialize in Asian snacks such as Kit Kat from Japan, chips and snacks from Taiwan, China, etc. They have cute Sanrio stuff and Lafufus, This place is a worth a visit as there a lot of different kinds of snacks, asian ingredients, instant ramens, drinks that you don't see at other stores.

This location just had their soft opening on July 12, 2025. At first glance, you can tell they're still setting up the store, especially since there's no signage up yet. It was a little difficult at first to find but it's right across of Queen's Urgent Care. In terms of what they have so far, it is definitely much more organized compared to the location in Kakaako (although to be fair, the last time I went to that location was last year). Inside of this store, they have a variety of items that are from different countries. Most notably, they have items from China, Japan, and South Korea. A majority of the items are various savory and sweet snacks, but there are also non-food items such as Sonny Angel hippers (unsure of how genuine they are, some of the packaging have questionable spelling) and soap. I definitely will come back here again because the snacks were really cheap! I bought four different snacks for about ~$12 and they were decently sized. Currently, the prices aren't on the packages/items but I'm assuming it's because it's just their soft opening. You can always ask a staff member at the register to check the price for you though!

We were stoked to see that a One-2 Buy opened up closer to the west! My family and I love unique fun snacks, and we took full advantage of the labor day 50% off sale! They have a little bit of everything here. Snacks, household goods and even popular blind boxes! We love anything truffle and this place did not disappoint. We're making this a monthly thing because we've found so many pantry staples! Make sure you follow them on Instagram to keep up with the ads. We paid $40 for everything! The cashiers are also very kind. They always include freebies!

Saw that they opened a location in Aiea and immediately had to check it out. If you've gone to their town location, you know parking is sparse and the warehouse is huge. This location is in Pearl Kai across Urgent Care. They are having their soft opening right now and have their usual imported snacks along with those crazy Labubu, Sonny Angels, and other plushies. This location is obviously not as big as their town location and they are still setting up but I did grab some of their snacks and am happy to know I don't need to drive to town for these goodies anymore!

    Must grab after-school haul!

Highly recommend giving this place a try. It's a must come back. New location in Pearl Kai, a much better look than the town location, more like an Asian snack shop. I love coming here after school for something to munch on, and I always have new drinks that I'm eager to try! They're pretty well priced for what you get on certain things. I saw that they're gonna open up a café that I can't wait to try! I wish there was some music because the store is often quiet and they don't have many workers, so don't expect Walmart levels of service.

This place is super clean and full of options to buy. Whether you are craving something sweet or in need of hard to find ingredients for a delicious dinner. I went in just to look and came out with so many things. Even Kuromi items!!!! The teas are delicious and refreshing as well. Staff was super sweet and even gave me free face masks

This is one of my favorite foods, SO of course I had to go check it out for myself. Unfortunately, at the time I went there it wasn't available, and was told it wouldn't be available until about 10:30 am. So, I browsed around Little Manila Market... It's a small market and the name says what exactly you'll find here. I seen there was Puto; A steamed rice cake slightly sweet & topped with cheese for $7 for a pack of 6. I purchased a container, Let me say it was very delicious! I opened it up in my car on my way to work and couldn't stop eating it. If I could have I would have eaten all of it before reaching Waikele. I wanted to share some with my husband so I shared 2 with him. I'll be back for more! Hot foods are available: Wednesdays, Saturdays & Sundays. Location: Ho'opili next to Haus Of Puas. Parking: Street Parking. Seating: Outdoor, tables with umbrellas. Looking forward to trying their Filipino hot dishes & picking up a container or two of Puto. One for me and one for the husband.

I happen to see a Instagram reel by Joshybu, made me add this to the list to visit ASAP. Note, there are 2 Little Manila Market, the other one is in Waipahu this is at Ewa Beach, located at Ho'opili, great location/convenient for residences of Ho'opili and for those on the west side. Ample street parking and there are few tables out front to enjoy the goods! The store is cozy in the corner, Filipino grocery store that offers a wide range of authentic products, including snacks, ingredients, frozen foods, household items, including pancit canton, my favorites. They carry few local products which I was surprise to see the Pork Hash Factory frozen pork hash and bottled sauce. I enjoyed browsing, now I know where to go when I need more goods when I am on this side of the island. One of the reasons to visit, was the hot foods, this is available on weekends only, I wanted to try the empanada ( from Instagram reel) and the foods but when I arrived after 1 pm, they were all sold out of most of the hot foods. Bummer, note for next time to come early. The only item I got was dessert which we enjoyed. The hot foods is located at the front of the store near entrance. What did I end up getting, pork hash factory sauce ( $3.50) frozen bag of Saba ( bananas) pancit canton noods and bottle of pre-mixed vinegar with the chili pepper in it. The prices wasn't bad. All in all, I am glad I got to visit Little Manila Market, now I need to try the empanadas & hot foods.,-Next time! Oh, it is little Manila Market but filled with TONS of goods!

I always come here "just to look," but end up with a gigantic, branded reusable bag filled to the brim with imported Asian snacks. Many Chinese products, but also Korean, Japanese, Thai, etc. Snacks range from exotic chip flavors to candies and sodas. Further back you'll find more substantial instant noodle meals. The Chinese ones are actually great and are way more complex ingredients-wise than your standard instant noodle. Also in the back are Chinese cooking ingredients such as sauces and dry goods, but my favorite is the super thick, wide glass noodles that I use for hot pot. There's also a small section with Asian toiletry products that I've personally never tried. I must say it feels like there is less variety of items since they moved locations. Some snacks are repeated in different spots on the shelves to make it look like there's more variety. My favorite latiao that I used to get at their old location is no longer available. :( I'll keep coming back regularly because they're always getting new items in stock.

So if you go in on the day when they just received shipment, bingo! You're lucky to find a lot of good things (I think). I haven't had any of those days. It's a pretty clean and big store. You can find a lot of foreign type of snacks. Chips, cookies and candies. I'm not a big risk taker at trying to eat something i don't know, but all the seaweed chips are delish!

Small kid time I remember use to be Holiday Mart, then Daiei and now Don Quijote. I use to love shopping here with my parents for the dipped yogurt ice cream, I think they use to have an ice crem shop at the front of the store. During middle school days we would come here for Sanrio & Leigh's Wishing Well when laminated, personalized cards were popular. Now darn I try to avoid this shop, as much as I LOVE all the products, my wallet doesn't, hehe. I have a habit of buying every single thing. Lets talk about this recent visit, I only need 3 item which is mentaiko to make mentaiko pasta, bread to make garlic bread and natto since I needed a natto fix. Don Quixote? The titular protagonist of Miguel de Cervantes' 17th-century Spanish novel, often considered the first modern novel? No, not him. Side-quest unlocked: Go to Don Quijote to looks at Trader Joe's-like bags and peruse affordable macadamia nuts. Imagine if a Japanese convenience store, Costco, Walmart, Japanese pop culture, and a late-night snack gremlin all moved into one building and decided to co-habilitate. That's Don Quijote, or as locals lovingly know it: Donki. Don Quijote is Japanese discount megastore in Honolulu where you walk in for one bottle of water and somehow leave an hour later with Japanese cheesecake, body wash, a rice cooker, novelty socks, a plush penguin, Spam musubi, an ankle brace, and at least one item that made you say, "Well, I've never seen that before." Every aisle is an adventure. It's part grocery store, part pharmacy, part souvenir shop, part beauty supply, part snack paradise, and part "why are they selling this and why do I suddenly need it?" The shelves are packed to the ceiling, the signage is loud, the deals are good, and the whole place feels like a treasure hunt designed by someone who drank three Red Bull Kyoho Grapes and said, "More products! More fun! No empty shelf space!" The Honolulu location is also gloriously open 24 hours, which means it serves a very specific and beautiful type of chaos: jet-lagged tourists like myself, night owls craving Japanese curry, and people making questionable but spiritually necessary 1:11 a.m. purchases. TL;DR, Don Quijote is less of a store and more of an experience. A slightly overwhelming and delightfully unhinged retail adventure.
