So, I just wanted a bagel. I missed New Jersey and I wanted a taste of home. I didn't miss the air pollution, high real estate taxes or traffic but I missed the taste of home. I ordered a toasted Everything Bagel with Cream Cheese and sliced tomatoes. My hubby ordered a poppy seed hard roll with egg, cheese, Taylor Ham (aka pork roll)and ketchup. We didn't have to give any long explanations or descriptions. Just one question. "you want that yolk whole or broke. Ahh just like home. The Bagel and roll was fresh. Self serve coffee to the right with cream, sugar and sweetener (blue) if you want yellow or pink bring it with you. We selected a booth and walked up to pay by the time I walked back to the booth our food was there. Easy as pie. My bagel was yummy. It just needed a sprinkle of salt on the tomatoes. Just table salt not even pink Himalayan sea salt. My hubby's sandwich was gone fairly quickly. We left satisfied. All this for a little over $10 We would definitely go again. Ordered sandwiches to go for beach day. You order at counter and they call you to counter to pick up. Ordered a reuben, turkey club, and liverwurst. Sides of potato salad and tuna macaroni. We all loved our sammies. Lots of meat. The tuna mac was great. They didn't care for their potato salad. Just not what they are used too maybe, but just chunks if potato with mayo and spices. Not much flavor. I also got a piece of Mew York crumb cake. It was moist and flavorful. Not too sweet. We received our order quickly. Friendly staff. read more

This NY-style deli is one of my favorite lunch spots. All the usual suspects are served here like reubens, pastrami, liverwurst and corned beef. They even have egg creams which is pretty rare south of the Mason Dixon line. They also serve breakfast, but haven't tried that yet. read more

Nice deli in Myrtle Beach. They have a nice menu with lots of choices some of which aren't really common to Myrtle Beach and are more common in New York City. My wife and I liked it and we will be back for more bites. read more

This place seemed to be where all the locals were eating breakfast, and in Myrtle Beach that's really saying something. While my family didn't qualify for the secret discount that you just know the residents of Horry County were getting, we did get a solid, no-frills breakfast with decent service at a fair price. Delicious is the only word to describe the sandwiches we had today. My pastrami was hot (not toasted like some restaurants in the south ). The best pastrami sandwich I've had outside of the delis in the NYC area. My husband reported that his chicken salad was great. I'd give them 10 stars if I could... I'm from jersey so finding a good deli is paramount.. These guys came through. Delicious turkey on rye with provolone and Russian and coleslaw. Potatoe salad is the best around. I bring all my visiting guest there and they all go back....love the owners..after reading some of the other reviews about closing time, I completely understand why the are prompt about closing as they have put in a full day. I always try to get there no later than two knowing that gives me 30 minutes bf closing. read more

The New York Special is the best sandwich we've ever had. Perfect dressing and coleslaw on a soft rye, with Boar's Head corned beef. Try the tuna/ macaroni as a side. All NYC memorabilia and pleasant, no nonsense staff, including Kaminsky himself, a perfect New Yorker. read more

A nice reminder of home. As a new yorker on a week long vacation this was a welcome change to the southern hospitality food. There subs were fresh, quick to make, and completely filling. The restaurant has a warm NY attitude with a large menu. I highly recommend checking out any of the speciality sandwiches. I had the Brooklyn. This is a great authentic deli! We wanted to try something different from all the chain places. The ingredients are fresh and delicious. The sandwiches are piled high with generous portions of meat and thick slices of cheese with crisp shredded lettuce and fresh bread. My parents and I are from NY (Buffalo area to be exact), they're snow birds to Myrtle Beach and every year we're in the area for Christmas, we make a trip to Kaminsky's. It is AWESOME! Their sandwiches use high quality meats, cheeses and other ingredients; their potato salad is great; and (when they have it) their broccoli cheese soup is to die for. The owner tries to be all gruff (sort of like the Soup Nazi in Seinfeld) but he's really an old softie! Love the NY decor too. This is worth a trip, for reals. read more
