So, not the most consumer friendly policy if your insurance pays you directly for either initial appraisal or total. That might keep me from going back if the estimate was greater than this one. I'm giving Fix a 5, but the cc service charge wasn't told to me up front. Choose accordingly.

I gave Adrian a call and scheduled to bring my car in for an assessment. I arrived and after an evaluation by Adrian and one of his top body guys, I was assured that they can fix it if I left the car with them for a few days. I handed Adrian the keys and replied, "Work your magic". Two days later, Adrian called me and let me know my car was ready for pick up. They were able to fix the tab, adjust the rear bumper, polished the rear bumper, gave my car a good wash, and evaluated and confirmed that there's no other hidden damage behind the bumper. What a great feeling it was arriving to pick up my car and seeing it all fixed and clean. Back in business! Thank you, Adrain and the rest of the team @ Elite Auto Collision. I was referred here by StateFarm Insurance after an accident. We 1st took it to the Mission Valley…read morespot but we were sent to EC because the MV is too busy. I was please to know the car was ready very soon. Upon picking up the vehicle, I was NOT happy. They placed a warped part that the insurance had paid for. I informed the front desk person. She took pictures and sent it to the insurance for approval. Unfortunately when I got home, I noticed they had over sprayed my windshield and front windows with clear coat. Very very upset by then. After my husband dropped me off the vehicle broke down 3 times on him. He returned it. I never received any communication. After almost 2 weeks later I contacted them since my text had not been replied to. I was then told I would possibly have to pay a tow truck fee and a dealership diagnostic. I wasn't happy, even more disappointed because 1) over sprayed my windows with clear coat ((100% their responsibility)), 2) had a warped piece placed, 3) car wouldn't start x3, 4) had to return it, 5) no communication for weeks, 6) told I would be responsible $$$, because it was just the battery. I had asked to test it, they said they did, that they had a "good mechanic ", vehicle was sent to dealer, comes back it was only the battery when they had claimed they tested it. 7) The male I last spoke to denied saying certain things, would not allow me to speak when I had questions, he would not answer my question with the exemption of saying, your car is done. Also, claimed "if you don't want to pick up your car"...which is FAR from the truth. 8) Delay in getting my vehicle back over a month. I literally had to raise my tone of voice to be able to speak, clarify I had allowed him to speak, it was my turn, and I was the client. Soon after work I picked up the battery to exchange it since its fairly new. Once they placed the battery back on and brought the car out, the parts seems they were not original as they didnt fit flush, again. Im not even sure if they made my insurance aware of this. In the end the individual said, they pay for the diagnostic. Which i think they should since their "good mechanic " couldn't diagnose it was a battery. Im hoping they didn't miss anything else since I paid $1k and my insurance paid alot more $$$ for the accident repairs. Plus we reported there was something wrong with the shifter. I don't feel confident about their availabilities. If a proper diagnosis was even conducted at the EC Crash Champions. The lady's at the desk were very helpful, both at the MV ans EC site. I heard subtle sound and as I pulled off to the next exit my stomach sank seeing the damage. I quickly drove back home and contacted my friend that has a clear bra shop and he recommended Mark at Philip Thearles Autowerks. I got Marks number and gave him a call. He really helped me through the whole process and made me feel much more comfortable then what I was anticipating. Mark answered all my questions and gave me everything for the next step. Truly this was the best person to handle my situation since I do not trust really anyone. This car has been with me for 10 years and it holds a special place for me. I never dealt with this before on such an expensive vehicle. Fast forward Mark was kind enough to pick up the car, send me the estimate all within a few hours before the end of the day. He also had the bumper(main damaged area) off and checked to asses any other damage that could not be seen. He submitted everything to the insurance and I really did not have to do anything other than a phone call to my insurance and a couple emails. Following the next week the parts were ordered since the approval was done. I got text and picture updates of everything that was happening. I really appreciated this as I like to document the whole process. You really can tell Mark and his shop care about customer service and making you feel at ease. What I can say about the final end of the repair since a new bumper had to be ordered and repainted in Lava Orange. It looks like nothing happened! It looks better than Brand new. The paint matches exactly the rest of the car. Another thing that I was a bit worried but as you can see in some of the photos, you cannot tell the difference. When the car was ready I got a nice tour of the huge facility that is state of the art and they are Porsche certified! I am truly thankful for Mark and the shop getting this done within less than a month. I really do appreciate the whole process. No one wants to go through this but Philip Thearles Autowerks is the place to go for your automobile repairs / body shop.

They lied about my car being aligned. Ive got the paperwork saying its aligned but the other shops said it wasn't. My insurance is having a field day with them. And their GM? Yeah, he said he would fix it by "going the extra mile" to fix the paint on my car. As if that wasn't something he was already liable for. Ruby told me to even go to the mechanic that they use and speak to him because she had no idea what was actually wrong with my car and this guy's down the street. She told me to literally leave their facility and go down the street to ask about what's wrong with my car. This is the most unprofessional, least skilled, and mismanaged place I've ever been to. And every single other shop says the same thing about them as well.

Good Afternoon, I…read morewould like to express how grateful I am to have visited the Caliber Collision Center in La Mesa. I had initially taken my car to another body repair shop nearby to have my front end painted and some dents removed. I became extremely dissatisfied over the next few days with the manager and his poor communication skills. Over a two-day period, I would receive a phone call about another so-called issue with my car that should have been explained initially. The last straw was when they removed my front bumper then told me it had been glued on and that they didn't want to take the risk of putting it back on with screws since it wasn't something they were comfortable with doing. I then took my car to Caliber Collision and from the very beginning, Alfredo (Perez) listened to my concerns and then took the time to carefully explain about the parts needed along with the estimate. He made sure that all of my questions were then answered to the fullest. I was very impressed with his level of expertise and professionalism. After making the decision to drop off my car, he made sure to contact me daily on its status to keep me abreast of any changes. In the end, I received another front bumper which was painted and all of the dents and scratches were removed. My car looks brand new, and the final repair cost was very affordable. If I had left my car at the other shop, it would have been way more and none of my other concerns would have been touched without having to pay thousands more and I'm pretty sure I would have been stuck with my old front-end bumper. I would highly recommend Caliber Collision on Center Drive in La Mesa and ask for Alfredo. My sincere thanks to both him and everyone who worked on my car. I'm a customer now for life. Mary S.
