I often frequent the kahoots location in HB and everyone is so so kind and truly care about the well being of everyone's fur babies! My sweet Nora's T 4 is elevated and I was looking at changing her protein and engaged in conversation with Ashley and Theresa and they were so attentive and genuine in their advice and support as I was very worried and a little stressed about her bloodwork results. They spoke with their nutritionist and got back to be so quickly and were able to share some wonderful suggestions! I came into the store today and they weren't there but Robert was and printed out notes of suggestions for new food. Above and beyond and so supportive! We love Kahoots in HB! Thank you Ashley, Theresa and everyone at this location for working so hard to ensure the absolute best customer service and support! read more

Here's a polished, fair review that conveys your experience without being overly harsh: I normally have a great experience at this pet store, which is why today's visit stood out. When I walked in, I mentioned that my dog is currently in heat. There wasn't any engagement--no "How is she doing?" or any conversation at all. Later, while I was looking at the chew bones, I mentioned I wanted to get my dog a special treat because she's been such a good girl. I asked about the difference between two products, and the response was simply, "It depends how much of a chewer your dog is." Rather than asking what breed or age my dog was, or trying to help me choose the best option, I ended up volunteering that she's a Rottweiler. The employee just pointed to one of the bones and said, "That one." When I commented that another one looked popular, the response was just, "Yep." At checkout, there was still no conversation--no greeting, no "How's your day going?" or anything that made the interaction feel welcoming. The transaction was completed, and that was it. I understand everyone has off days, and I'm not trying to be overly critical. I also recognize that maybe I caught the employee at a bad moment. However, working in a customer-facing role--especially at a specialty pet store where customers often appreciate advice and conversation--friendly engagement and genuine customer service make a big difference. Since moving to the area and covering it for work, I visit often...hope this was a one off and that this employee has a better day...b/c she sure threw my day off! read more

Recommended but it's a bit pricey so make sure you got some money before going there, I spent like 600 bucks on basic stuff my first time there. read more

A year ago I moved from Carlsbad to Fallbrook. Honestly I was assuming I'd still have to go to Carlsbad regularly to buy dog food (I refuse to buy it online) but finding Kahoots Pet Store has been the very best part of my move here. Liz, Mary, Trevor, Ash and Jonathan (sorry if I missed anyone) are incredible...knowledgeable and helpful always but also super supportive. In December my 14 yr old rescue got a 1st time ever health issue - she had literally never been to a vet. I was so worried and stressed and not trusting the suggested treatments from the vet here in town when I did take her out of desperation. I became 'The Customer from Hell'; for weeks on end I was going into Kahoots gathering information and even trying different products the staff had carefully screened, taken trainings about or used on their own pets. It took a few months but Chai did recover albeit the experience energetically wiped her (and me!) out. I've always fed my dogs part high end kibble and part raw but finally I felt convinced by the staff at Kahoots to go all raw. Also, I now totally get it: 'high end' and 'kibble' in the same sentence is oxymoronic. Just this last month we made the complete switch to Tucker's Raw...Chai loves it; she has never had a softer, shinier coat or brighter, clearer eyes. She has her energy back again and I expect her to be with me for a number of more healthy, happy years :-) Kahoots you rock. P.S. Just recently I switched to the Kahoot's brand of raw food - I'm so happy with the quality. read more

I have been shopping at this Kahoots location for over 2 years now. This group of animal lovers is one of the best! They truly care about your pet as much as you do. The quality of food, treats, supplements and even toys is unlike any other pet store I've been to. Every time I walk in with my 2 year old lab Oliver we are greeted and welcomed in such a friendly way. I even come in without Oliver once in a while and they always ask how he is. I really love all Kahoots does for our community. They are leaps above the rest!! Thank you!! read more

I've got to say Kahoots Fallbrook is my dogs favorite spot. ....for good reason. The 25th of August was his second birthday. Cecil, and his sister Blossom were invited for bandanas, treats galore and even doggie ice cream. The staff there has spoiled him ever since I brought him home, at 8 weeks. Fallbrook is known as the friendly Village.....I say Kahoots is a Bark bark ,meow ,chirp and another big bark kind of pet store. we had such a fun day ! Thanks so much Cecil and Blossom ! read more

Just love all the Kahoots stores but especially this one ! All of the employees are always so helpful and knowledgeable about all my pets needs, especially Chris, he's so nice and helpful. This kahoots is always stocked up and super clean. The employees actually make you feel like family, asking how your day is and handing out samples of dog food or treats when available. It is really convenient to have the shot clinics at location to cover all our animals vaccination needs . I always look forward to shopping here and bringing home goodies to the pups and saying hello to our kahoots friends. read more

I'm such a fan of Kahoot's Fallbrook. From the moment I walk through the doors and am welcomed genuinely by employees to leaving, I feel happy, valued by Kahoot's. Chris and Jonathan are knowledgeable, polite, and super helpful. These 2 stand out to me but I believe it's every employee. Chris recognizes my face and always gives good advice/feedback on dog food/treats. I trust his opinion. Employees always carry my heavy dog food bags to my car without question. I feel fortunate to have this store nearby. Whatever Kahoot's is doing to find stellar employees, keep up the great work! Thank you Kahoot's! read more

Great location in Fallbrook, being that Fallbrook is not that big of a city town, makes it a great pet store! They have a wide selection of toys for all animals, too not your ordinary dog foods! Employees are very helpful! Bring your dogs have them pick out there own toy! Prices are reasonable! read more

Kahoots Pet Store - Stopped off too pick up some Natural Choice "Nitro"! This specific food is great for animals with allergies! - Pet Stores Near Me - Fallbrook, California

I've never seen such a clean, well stocked, and well organized store... let alone a pet store. Staff were very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about pet food, and pet products. Kahoots even has their own house brand pet food, toys, and other products. If you want an alternative to chain grocery store pet food this is the place. They have what looks like every product that brands carry; all in stock and front faced. Definitely recommend. read more

The people that work there are so nice. They are super helpful. I love this store. I recently moved to fallbrook and was driving to oceanside for my pet food. I didn't realize Kahoots was in town. Now I go there regularly. read more

Just was in there with my 1 yr old puppy. Had a little accident which I immediately picked up with bags I had on had. Wanted to do a thoughtful and thorough job and approached the counter for paper towels and cleaning solution. Instantly was confronted by a female employee that was rude and dumbfounded that this could happen in a pet store. I made a light comment that she shouldn't be surprised. When u got back to the counter she insited on asking what I had mentioned. Then proceeded to yell at me. As I was paying for my items and leaving. She followed me outside onto the sidewalk yelling at me to never return. Amazing. I'd give no stars if that was possible. read more

Amazing service with friendly associates. Very helpful finding food my dog would eat. Generous sample sizes as well.

Great customer service and selection! Neat lay out and always well stocked. Locked my keys in my car and they let me sit in the AC until my locksmith arrived. Above and beyond from the employees. I liked the store beforehand but I like it even more now. read more

Wow, the store has so much to offer for your pets of all kinds. You will find the place clean, well stocked and orderly. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. We purchased a pet cage for our growing puppy, toys and training treats. It's nice to know that there is a local pet store if we are in need of something. They offer vaccinations on certain days and also have a social meet for the pets and owners. We will surely return for great service and any pet needs. read more

I took my senior (12 yr old) Chihuahua, Blue, to Kahoots last Saturday, May 20, 2023, for their pet clinic. Blue got her nails done and her vaccination. Very helpful staff. The sign-in process was swift and efficient. Everyone was professional and courteous. I highly recommend their service and I definitely saved some cash compared to veterinary hospital for the exact same shots. Thank you, Kahoots! read more

Thank you Kahoots staff for always being patient when Brady lifts his legs in your aisles. Even though you say it's ok, it still sucks to clean up after someone else's dogs but you do it with a smile on your face, or under your mask, as the times would have it. I love that you have everything I need for my dogs. I love that you have vet clinics every few months and I love how easy it is to shop and get help in the store. Thank you so much and I look forward to a long lasting relationship! read more

So happy this pet store is located in fallbrook! This is where we get our food for our French bulldogs. I love their brand kibble - the salmon one is the bag we buy. Sometimes we like getting their canned food too. Our pups like the brown rice and chicken. I am also a fan of their bully sticks. Be sure to ask which ones are the less smelly ones if that's something you care about. They also carry Stella and chewy which is another favorite we feed our pups. Overall friendly and helpful staff! read more

Purchased a flea cooler Seresto from here for about 80 dollars. This was the second time we had purchased one from this store. The collar worked the first time the dogs had no apparent fleas. This second time it was purchased the dogs were fresh from the groomers in town. We purchased the same collars as the first time & out them on the dogs, but we woke up with fleas in our bed. So the collar was clearly not working. We went back thinking they would understand this expensive collar was not working probably due to a manufacturing defect and simply exchange it for one that was working. They did not nor did they care! They asked if we still had the packaging?! Are you serious? Let me dig this trash that I no longer need out of my trash can so you can take this defective collar back! Most absurd thing I have ever heard. Who keeps trash like an empty tin canisters in their home? Sorry I am not a hoarder, once I take something out of the packaging the packaging is trash! It's ignorant that one should have to explain this to you! Never shopping here again! read more

like to give a huge shout out to Trevor ! he is the kindest ,most engaging and charming young man you'll ever come across, he chatted and engaged with everyone with the upmost sincerity . The world is your oyster young man hands up to your parents. Kahoots are lucky to have you. read more

Wow, I used to shop at Kahoots in Fallbrook quite a bit. The quality has definitely gone down since their manager, Lauren, left the store. Ever since the quality has gone down, I've stopped going there and decided to go to the Kahoots in Temecula, despite it being out of the way. The people there are nicer and welcoming. There's also an employee at the Fallbrook Kahoots that seems like he's high or drugged up the few times I've been in there. If I remember, his name is Steve. He was just acting really weird, and so I was grateful when he wasn't the one that rung me up. I'd recommend just shopping at a different Kahoots. Kahoots as a store seems really nice, but not this one. read more

The employees here are very friendly. They have a wide variety of supplies here. They are a little higher in prices compared to petco or petsmart but since both of those stores are far away this shop is perfect to pick up bones or food for my little one. read more

Kahoots Fallbrook, I have been a customer since the fallbrook store opened. Those that know me know I'm like Dr. Doolittle as I have a zoo of animals in my home. Kahoots is NOT requiring customers to wear masks. I was recently there, the vaccine clinic tech was NOT wearing her mask, she walked around and went about her interactions with customers and staff with the mask protecting the bottom of her chin. Employees do wear masks and they disinfect the register area after every customer. Thank you Kahoots staff!! However customers are not required to wear them in the store. I will NO longer bring my business to your store for the ignorant disregard and lack of consideration. SHAME ON YOU!! read more

Went there without a clue on what to us for my new pups. Never really had dogs. Noah helped me and was so knowledgeable and honest. Told me things I did and didn't need. You have such a great employee having Noah working for you. I only knocked down 1 star due to when I first walked in the 2 girls were too busy discussing person conversation. Not really used to that in Fallbrook. I was getting frustrated an Noah came to help. I told him I would bring the pups to get the proper harness leader. So when I got back and asked for him they seemed very irritated. Should have knocked down another star for this and Noah is the only reason I won't. My friend lost her dog on 4th of July as many do. She put up a lost poster on their window and before she even walked away a female employee took it down. I understand if people can't post on shop windows without permission but they could have left it up for a day at least. There is a small old town community feel here in Fallbrook and this could have been avoided. read more

The staff here is always so friendly and makes sure to make me feel welcome. They are very knowledgeable about all kinds of pets and their various needs. My dog LOVES the salmon dry food and it helps his coat stay healthy and beautiful. Love kahoots! read more

The best Pet food store around! My cats love their brand of cat food - I always get the dog treats for my moms dogs - they love them! For all natural good animal food - the prices are pretty reasonable. They also have vaccines there - although a little limited - Very helpful. The staff is always very helpful & nice. read more

There are no pets in this pet store! I realize puppy mills are out of fashion, but when I go to a pet store I at least hope to see some parakeets, hamsters, guinea pigs, etc... This place had nothing aside from a few sad-looking beta fish in the back corner of the shop. The second star is only given because of the friendly smile I was greeted with upon entering the store. read more

I love going to this store, the staff is amazing... Anna and Miranda etc are amazing employees !!

Ran in here after work because the extra bag of food I though I had didn't really exist, so I needed to get new dog food asap. Turns out they don't carry the dog food I usually have. However, after talking to the lady there, she gave me some samples of new food to get me through until my new food comes in 2 days. And she suggested I add some pumpkin to make sure my dog doesn't get an upset stomach from all the sudden changing his food. Much better than sitting in traffic to go to Temecula to get his food when I only needed to get by for 2 days! read more

Kahoots dog food is a must for my three big dogs. I had switched the dog food (Chicken & Brown Rice) to higher priced dog foods. I was penalized by cleaning up their vomits and messed. :( Their staff is very friendly and helpful. They have nice pet merchandise on sale if you are lucky. read more

WOW! I am absolutely BLOWN AWAY (ANA, SHIREEN,PAM, THANKYOU so much) by the professionalism, compassion, knowledge, patience, and care taken by every member of the Kahoots team today. I am a picky and hard to please pet parent. I have a lot of questions, only want the best for my pups, and have a budget to abide by. Kahoots team ANA,SHIREEN, and PAM went above and beyond in educating me, taking time to fit my needs, and displayed so much compassion. Kahoots is NOT a pet-co they do not cut corners and have a HUGE organic, natural, and RAW selection at a great price! I normally shop mom and pop for my pets food , treats, supplemts, and toys, but with the increase In food manufacturers prices Kahoots has been able to maintain the best prices for customers! I am thrilled and now a customer for life. Thank you ANA, SHIREEN, and PAM. You displayed such kind and knowledgeable direction. These people care, and that's rare!!!!! They also included the most samples I have ever received and I spent less than $100 for a months worth of the best RAW food for my 60 pound dog. What?!?!? The samples I was given were so generous, quality, and I didn't even ask for them! They are worth a 30 min drive in my book!!!! Thank you again! read more
