Staff was very disengaged. When asked where a product (weed killer)was located, they gestured toward a rack, said lawn.products are "over there", and walked away. There were maybe 2 people in the store. Would've been great if they would have taken the time to tell me they didn't even HAVE what I was looking for. read more

I come here a lot for my pups and occasionally get feed (treats) for my daughter and son-in law's chickens. They have a lot to offer for your pets. Not only do they offer animal food they have plenty of toy options for your dog or cat, and supplements as well. A variety of food containers for horses, chickens, dogs, cats, and even hummingbirds can be found here as well. I have found useful necessities for my garden as well. Any pesky critters invading your garden you may find something here to remedy that issue. I have seen garden fertilizers here but have not used any of them as of yet. You can even find helpful needs at the register for yourself, such as a compact flashlight, hand care lotion etc.. I find the staff to be helpful and knowledgeable when ever I have a question about my garden or pet needs. Note: The business is not open on Sundays. Check the place out, hope you find what you need and have a good experience as I did. read more

Came here for an event and to explore the surrounding area. The staff are very informative and friendly.

For my wild bird feeders, Fallbrook Feed sold me poor quality sunflower seed and totally inedible nyjer seed. I spend $100+ and when I brought it back they shrugged their shoulders. I would never buy from them again. Even though I went them to support a local business. There are great products available elsewhere, at better prices, and with a return guarantee. read more

This place sold me a bag of dog food that had been recalled. The staff refused to acknowledge it, despite me bringing in a list of the recalled bags when I came to return it. They made the return process difficult, and expressed no remorse for their mistake. The other recalled bags are still on the shelf. Be sure you're checking the codes for yourself because this establishment does not care about your dog. I added a photo of the email exchange I had with the food company that confirms the bag I got was recalled. They'll be in touch with you soon. I did not have the receipt, but I brought my bank statement that showed the exact amount of purchase and the date. Your staff chose to make it difficult & deny me a refund on a technicality. At the end of the day, I am a lot more concerned with the safety of the animals who could get sick from recalled food than I am about the money. read more

See all

Friendly people work here. And they're very accommodating when working on your order. A pleasure to buy here

I love going in this Historic Fallbrook Building. It still has the "old time" feel. I know all of the help, they are friendly, kind and very helpful. They know me by name. And they know what products I by for my dogs, cats and turtles. It reminds me of the feed store I went to as a kid:) read more

If you have an animal you are caring for this is your place to be! It's local, you can talk to any of their very knowledgeable staff/ team members and they are always ready to give you their honest opinions about what good product is the best, worse and in between. It is literally a one stop shop for all your needs. I have been going here for a long time and their whole staff has been more than helpful. It seems like I spend more time learning about how to properly care for an animal through the staff's passion for animals rather than just your ol run of the mill Petsmart employee. Check them out you won't be disappointed. Sincerely, A Forever Customer read more

Fallbrook Fertilizer, Feed & Farm Supply - Got my pin, feed, water trays, pine chips feed all from Fallbrook Fert. Great stuff - Pet Stores Near Me - Fallbrook, California

Good selection of various feeds and grains, etc., including dog and cat food. Plenty of help to load the car is a big plus. Curbside pickup too. A special shout out for requiring masks in the store. As so many people who raise chickens have learned, New Castle virus didn't just go away on its own. The various local quarantines, testing, assorted inconveniences led to finally, after 2 years, and millions of chickens euthanized nationwide, eradication. Thanks again for being a responsible retailer. read more

Fallbrook Fertilizer, Feed & Farm Supply - Adopted at humane society! - Pet Stores Near Me - Fallbrook, California

I have worked with Brad for many years to source premium Organic Fertilizer. His prices are always fair and competitive and he keeps inventory of the supplies I need. As a farm manager, I need reliable and trustworthy vendors for my business. Brad and his team at Fallbrook Fertilizer are the best partners I could ask for and I encourage other farmers and businesses to look no further for their crop supplies. Check out their TRUE fertilizer, it's fantastic and we use it on our client's Avocados regularly. read more

A great fertilizer, feed, & farm store it is well rounded for so many products. Because of the soil in Vista were I live I needed a special manufactured fertilizer to help my blooms on my avocado trees. Every year my amount of avocados increases and the taste is great everybody tells how fabulous they are! I have been going to Fallbrook Fertilizer for the last 7 years for my trees, dog food and dog treats. Every time I go to the store I find another great product. All the people at the store are really helpful and courteous. I give my hat off to the owner he has created great a farm supply store. read more

I just got some really good info about traveling with my dog for the holidays. Some things I never would have thought of if not for this article. So thank you very much. It could have cost me delays or worse. The staff is always helpful and knowledgeable. I have been to your vaccination clinic for dogs. That is a great service for the community and people on a budget. Thank you again. The staff is so friendly, my dog loves to come visit the guys. Susan P. & Ninja read more

I feel so fortunate to have Fallbrook Fertilizer as my local pet store! They carry a great selection of products at extremely fair prices. Their customer service is terrific. And occasionally they have ordered items for me (in quantity) that they don't normally carry. I won't shop anyplace else for my cats and birds! They are the best! read more

The entire staff here are helpful and friendly. They have a good selection of everything and I always find what I need. Pricing is comparable to other local feed stores and they offer a military discount read more

I went in here to look specifically for some K9 treats. The manufacture website stated that they were carried in this store. I looked all around, and I saw the same brand for horses, and I asked about it. I was informed that if I wanted to wait three weeks, they could order them in, but otherwise they would not carry them. This is understandable, as I realize that this is a fairly large equestrian town, and probably the horse supplies sell a lot better than the K9 supplies, HOWEVER, the way I was spoken down to by this woman was very unpleasing. If I were to say she were rude, that would be an understatement. However, I did notice the dog food I buy at Kahoots is about $20 cheaper here, and I will continue to pay the higher price because well, who wants to shop at a store where they are rude. Not me! read more

Love this store! Doris is awesome as well as the rest of the crew! You are always helpful!!

We drive out there from Oceanside to buy poultry feed. We have always had decent service, they carry the large bags out to the car for us too. They don't always have the feed we need, but there is usually something that will work. They let us know when the shipment comes in. They carry a decent variety to meet most all needs. Employees are nice to chat with, but not always available to chat as they are busy doing something and that's fine too as we all want to get in and out to our chores. I recommend this store as they seem to be helpful and have a good variety. By the way, I'm in CA, not VA, and can't figure out how to change that. read more

Had a bad experience with an item priced at 3.97 and was charged 8.97. When I asked for an adjustment I was told that the correct price was 8.97. Same product was still on the shelf at 3.97. Too bad for me as they (older lady) was rude and walked away. Asked for owners name and was told they didn't know! Taking my business elsewhere. read more

I have a lab who had serious skin issue. After going to several places and spening hundreds of dollars at the vet. After hearing over and over again that there was nothing could be done for my dog, I called Fallbrook Feed, and I spoke with the manager who gave me two products. Two weeks later my dog was on his way to a speedy recovery. Not only do they have very competitve prcing, and a knowledgeable staff. You get the attention that you deserve in a mom and pop shop that you dont get in a box store. I now recommed all my friends to go into there and ask for help with any issue with their pets. Hands down the best store pet store expereinced. read more

Very reasonable prices and knowledgeable staff. For all kinds of pets and animals. Prices beat Kahoots!

I've been going here for a few years now. I wandered in looking for gopher killer and found great dog food prices by accident. Was kind of mindlessly going to Kahoots and Petco before this place. It's now my Go To store to feed my 2 dogs both daily food and special treats. Great customer service and help carrying out large food bags to my vehicle. I later checked out a few other stores in Fallbrook for prices on doggie things and this one came up best. I also go here for Black Friday. read more

I love this store. I just moved to Fallbrook couple of years ago and this is going to be my only feed store. I think everyone who works there is friendly and helpful. I wanted them to order a special Layer chicken feed (Scratch and Peck) because they did not carry it. The one I wanted is GMO free and organic with no soy or corn and they finally were able to get it in for me and now carry it. I had tired other feed stores and they would not order it so I will be a customer for life now... I buy about 5 bags a month. Great service and that is what we want as customers right? read more

I have been shopping at Fallbrook Fertilizer Feed and Farm Supply for 20 years. The employees there are so polite and helpful. It is always so refreshing to go in there and just look around. The store is so neat it reminds me of the feed stores back home where they have a little of everything and everyone knows everyone. I highly recommend this store. read more

aww.. Sarah so sorry you were having a bad day before you went to Fallbrook Fertilizer. I think the problem you have is with the manufacturer that stated the treats were there, at least you know the brand dog food was carried there also .Besides didn't you say that the lady was going to order them for you? that was customer service for sure! I moved to Fallbrook 15 yrs. ago and have gone to this town feed store for ALL my animal;s needs and the employees there always had a friendly attitude and was very accommodating!! They are my #1 choice for everything I need to keep my animal's healthy. Maybe you should give it another shot, I am sure you will be satisfied especially if you can save money! read more
