Mixed kabob platter
Anna L.

Small kabob restaurant that is mainly for takeout, but there are some counter seating. Their meat is halal as confirmed with one of the employees. Food was decent. A plate comes with rice and pita, while a platter comes with an additional choice of two sides. We had the mixed kabob platter and lamb chop plate. The lamb chop is a good size (not the rack of lamb type cut). Definitely use the provided sauces to give some of the kebab pieces more flavor and moisture.

Incredible kabob joint with a great variety, came on a Friday evening and there was only a few people. I ordered the salmon platter, everything was fresh, including the bread which was warm. I enjoyed the variety of sauces they offered with the kebobs. The service was quick and friendly. The ambiance was clean and quiet. I'm giving 5 stars not for the incredible food but also for their amazing 2000s playlist which included Shaggy!

Excellent food, service is fast and attentive. I told the cook how to cook the lamb and he was very happy to do it my way. It tastes delicious Lamb on a Gyro.

Falafel Platter with Chicken Kabob Skewer

Good service, however i paid $25 for a platter and chicken skewer because they don't have a combo option for half and half protein. I would recommend trying the falafel, chicken and hummus. Those were the best and most flavorful parts of the dish.

Lettuce or no lettuce?

Ordered a Gyro Pita Sandwich with a side of the House White Sauce thru Uber Eats. The sandwich was really good. 1st time eating here and would definitely ordered from then again. The only thing was on the app, the Gyro Pita Sandwich said it came with lettuce but there wasn't any lettuce but the picture on the app also didn't have lettuce so idk lol.

what a waste of $19. we ordered falafel sandwich specials which are supposed to be $13 total, but the lady who got my order said $15 over the phone. I asked twice and she said $15 for sure. thats why we tipped the delivery guy $3 tips even though my location is less than 5 blocks away from this location. It's our third time having issues and wanted to give them one more chance but not anymore. it's always the same lady who gets my order wrong and spending more than 5 mins to take easy orders (either 1 or 2 items). They ALWAYS messed up my orders and did not put either utensils or dips for fries. Their fries are extremely soggy or greasy. you should ask for less salt otherwise your tongue will shrink. disgusting.

Yes! They've reopened in the same space with a beautiful renovation! I was so worried that they had closed for good. Got the Chicken Pita sandwich, their awesome skin-on fries, and the roasted garlic dipping sauce. Everything was as tasty and delicious as I remember! Welcome back, Kabob Shack!

Mediterranean place that seemed to have reopened in Williamsburg recently. The falafel pita sandwich I got for $6 was very good. Extremely filling, and the white sauce they use is scrumptious. Wish it was packed with more vegetables/salad, but the pickled onions were a nice touch. Great pita & quick service.

Really good falafel sandwich with fries for only $6.50. The jalapeño cheddar sauce for the fries is yummy too.

Levantine is a cozy Mediterranean spot with a crowd-pleasing menu, perfect for our late brunch. We…read morestarted with the garlic hummus, which was a generous portion and very creamy. There was roasted garlic in the center looked great, but it didn't punch up the flavor as much too much. The pita was fine, but a bit dry and plain. For my main, I had the Israeli Breakfast with a side of pastrami smoked salmon. The eggs were soft-scrambled very well, and the salmon was exactly how I like it--fresh and buttery. I swapped the pita for seeded sourdough, though it looked and tasted more like standard buttered toast to the point that I double-check edwith the staff to confirm it was the sourdough. The Israeli salad was finely chopped and provided a nice balance to the meal, though it was a bit watery and lacked a flavor punch. The labneh with za'atar was thick and rich and good in small doses added to bread or the eggs. However, I think this combined with the other food was the source of the meal ending up being overwhelmingly salty, leaving me reaching for water for the rest of the day. I also sampled the chicken shawarma--the flavor was great, though it was a bit oily from the paprika oil and felt a tad pricey at $28. On a brighter note, the hot mint tea was fantastic, with hot water served over a generous amount of fresh mint leaves for a refreshing and flavorful tea. Despite the saltiness this time around, I'd return to try something else, like the fattoush salad with salmon.

The carrots had some heat, and I found myself gravitating towards the labneh and the ultra smooth falafel. But everything was appealing; you probably can't go wrong here. For my main, I ordered the fatush salad ($16) with added chicken shawarma ($7). The salad consisted of lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, herbs, feta, satisfyingly crunchy roasted chickpeas, and lemon dressing. All of the veggies were fresh, there were plenty of 'em, the shawarma was excellent, and the dressing was bright and zippy. Upon entering, Levantine looks pretty teensy but then you're escorted to the back where there's another dining room. My favorite aspect of the room was the living tree growing out of the floor. However, there were a couple of groups and it got kinda loud back there. The wicker chairs were a bit unwieldy. The staff could've checked on us more but it wasn't a huge deal. I'd go back!

The restaurant was clean, ordering was fast, the price was affordable, and there was plenty of seating. Sold! We ordered a Chicken Kebab Bowl with "everything": tomatoes, romaine, cucumbers, pickled turnips, jalapeños, sumac onions, cabbage slaw, Lebanese pickles, Kalamata olives, and feta cheese, topped with lemon tahini sauce over rice. The order also came with a small pita (in sealed plastic). It is essentially a Middle Eastern version of Chipotle. I was happy with the freshness (except the pita) and quality. The only unfortunate part was that the olives were overpowering; I would leave those out in the future. Overall, it's a solid spot for a quick meal, even if it's "nothing to write home about." 3.5 stars. Fun Fact. I didn't realize this is actually a chain until I searched Yelp to find the right one to review. They have 30 locations, all corporate run!
