I've had lots of hummus, but you could tell it was either store-bought or had been made ahead of time. This was not the case! It was so fresh that you could tell it was just made. Love that!!!! 10/10 for the hummus alone. Service was alright. It was very busy, so the ambiance was crowded and loud. The food took a very long time to come out. I ordered the falafel lover plate, which I was not happy with. The dish was lackluster. There were only 4 falafel on the plate, which surprised me since the dish is falafel lover. Falafel and rice. It was way overpriced for what you get. My husband got a dish with meat, rice and potatoes. He was not wowed by this either. It was not something he would order again. Maybe we just ordered the wrong things? The hummus was so mind blowingly good that I wish the entrees were equally delicious.

My only minor note is that I wish the plate came with more roasted side veggies but that could be just a personal preference. I also got both tzatziki and the garlic sauce to try and both were good but I prefer the garlic sauce. The complimentary pita bread was huge, bigger than my head, and soft and buttery, similar to a naan and tasted fresh and homemade. Usually I don't like the pita served at restaurants because it's just prepackaged or shipped out but I ate the entire pita and liked it better than rice pilaf. I really didn't understand what this was until I went to pay and realized that she had comped one of our meals. When I said to her, that was very generous and unnecessary she said well when we see somebody who needs a little bit of love or cheering up that is what we do. The ratio of protein to extras is so bad. By the time I put pickles and onions and sauce on the wrap the whole thing was soggy cold and had no sustenance. There inside layout only allows for about 8 tablespoons tops so both times I've been there I had to eat outside by the trashcans. Overall the entire experience sucks and feels designed for white suburbanites who have no idea what fresh global flavors should taste like and are just looking for a "healthier" option. I can't understand why my daughter likes it so much. IF I ever go back it will be for a rice bowl so at least when it's cold and full of dressing it won't be completely inedible.

who makes you wait on hold for nearly 15 minutes ( or more) and then when they finally answer your call (5 minutes after 8pm)and tell you they are closed??????????????????????? what kind of customer service is this. what is wrong with mediterranean places in temecula, so sad. is there any good mediterranean place out here? because i thought i finally found a good wholesome family owned business, but clearly it's just a numbers game to this establishment too. i'm bummed, i got home so hungry from work, really looking forward to my favorite mediterranean place, and they treated me like i was not a paying customer. next time, please don't keep a customer on hold for 15-20 minutes just to tell them you are now closed when you finally take their call. such poor service. :( read more

I wish we would have walked out instead of waiting here. We were told that they were really busy so things may take a while, there was maybe 5 tables total including ours. We asked for water and they only brought out water to half of us. They said they would bring the rest. We had to ask for water for the others again almost a hour later. She said she hadn't brought them out because she didn't have enough cups. 15 minutes later she brought out water bottles. Our food took forever to receive and our waitress was not very helpful. Finally received our food and the meat inside was still raw. Definitely will not be coming back. read more
