Absolutely delicious! We tried the lamb momos, butter chicken, and chicken tikka masala, and everything was cooked perfectly. The flavors were rich, authentic, and incredibly well-balanced. The lamb momos were a standout, and both chicken dishes were tender, flavorful, and full of delicious spices. Our waitress was also wonderful--so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. She told us she had been there since the restaurant first opened, and it definitely showed in how knowledgeable she was about the menu. She explained each dish so well and answered all of our questions, which made it really easy to decide what to order. Everything came out fresh, hot, and beautifully prepared. We had such a great experience from the food to the service and will definitely be back to try more of the menu. Highly recommend! read more

So Yelp has a generic comment when you hit 5 stars... "Amazing! What went well.? EVERYTHING. The food here was amazing. The service was amazing. The cleanliness is amazing. We got the lamb on everything and it is great. We had the rack of lamb, lamb curry, lamb rice... omg so good. This is our spot. One caveat, it is a tad pricey but this is justified. It's not a cheap take out place but some good food with no expense spared. Like it love it will be back read more

My husband and I were craving Indian food and we were recommended this spot. We're so glad we came because everything we ordered was delicious! They're in a shopping center so parking is plentiful and easy. We came on a Monday around 5:30pm and it was already pretty busy. It's a beautiful restaurant with a large bar that is separated. The owner happened to also be our server and he was very kind, helpful and great with our 2.5 year old wild toddler. We got: -Fish Curry: perfectly cooked, flaky fish in an addicting curry sauce. -Veggie Korma: classic dish and they do it right. My husband licked the bowl clean -Creamy Chicken Kebob: this was for our son who absolutely loved it. Chicken was soft and the sauce was reminiscent to an alfredo sauce -Paratha: Ditch the naan and try this instead. So flaky, buttery and delicious! -Mango Lassi: we had to wait until after dinner to order this because our toddler would just get full off of it, but it's soooo good. I appreciate that the curries already come with a side of rice. Can't wait to go back and try the momos. read more

10/10 food, ambience, and service! Shout out to Issam. He's the best! We got the chicken momo, chana masala, lamb coconut curry, garlic cheese naan, and mango lassi. Everything was firee. No notes. I need to come back again and try the whole menu. read more

Great food, even better service! The restaurant was busy and lively, so I grabbed a seat at the bar as a solo diner. From the start, the waiter was incredibly friendly and welcoming. One of the owners was also there and went out of his way to make sure I enjoyed my meal. He checked in on me, made conversation, and even shared a bit of his story. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers. I'll definitely be back! read more

Zen Curry and Grill, 41653 Margarita Rd, Suite 104, Temecula, CA92591. We've been to Zen Curry several times since they opened in Temecula. It offers a blend of Indian and Nepalese cuisine with a touch of fusion while staying true to traditional tastes. Nice modern decor with welcoming atmosphere. The server was friendly and polite. Food was great. My favourite was Pumpkin Lamb Curry. read more

Best Indian - Nepal cuisine in Temecula and surrounding areas! The food is rich, flavorful and fresh. The owner takes real pride in everything about this restaurant, including quality of food, decor, and the friendly service of all the staff. We usually order spinach paneer and chicken curry, which is excellent here. Recently we were introduced to their butter chicken, vegetable briyani, steamed dumplings, and mango lassi, which we had during our most recent dining experience here. And then there is their garlic naan. I highly recommend anything I listed here! Also the roasted cauliflower. I guess so far everything I have eaten here has been a sure thing. Just be careful when enjoying this rich food and don't over do it. Voted #22 out of 100 of top places to eat in 2026 for a reason! Support this local business! read more

Let me just say there is a reason why Zen Curry is ranked #22 on Yelp. Their food is delicious! We had the crispy cauliflower for our appetizer and it reminded me of a vegetarian version of kung pao. It was crispy and delicious. For our mains we had the tandoori chicken with roasted vegetables for an up charge of $8. We also had the coconut chicken curry and it came with jasmine rice. Both dishes were very flavorful. We ordered the garlic naan which was a great accompaniment to our meal The service provided by Issam was great and he suggested the roasted vegetables with the tandoori chicken which was a great suggestion. Katie who brought the dishes out to us was friendly and stated that she loves working there. The reason for the four stars is that the total bill was almost $100 for just the two of us and no drinks. This included a well deserved 20% tip. This is very pricey for two chicken dishes and a vegetable appetizer compared to other delicious Indian restaurants in the area. With that in mind we will be back but maybe on special occasions. read more

What an amazing experience from start to finish! The service was immediate, our appetizers came out incredibly fast, and every single dish exceeded our expectations. We ordered the cauliflower, vegetable samosas (so yummy!), chicken vindaloo, butter chicken, and the boneless tandoori--which was hands down our favorite. The butter chicken was perfectly balanced in flavor: rich, creamy, and incredibly delicious without being overly sweet. The naan deserves a special mention. We ordered both the garlic naan and butter naan, and the garlic naan was next level. At so many restaurants the garlic ends up burned, but Zen Curry absolutely nailed it. It was perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and some of the best garlic naan we've had. We enjoyed a Taj Mahal beer and a mango margarita to round out the meal. Everything we ordered was fantastic, and the entire experience--from the food to the speed of service--made for a wonderful evening. Definitely great for dining with kiddos to as our son loved his food! Thank you, Zen Curry, for such a great time. We'll definitely be back! read more

Excellent food, excellent ambience & great service. Had the best tasting Indian and Nepali cuisine in San Diego. This is by far the best restaurant because of cleanliness, taste, atmosphere, friendly staff and the thought they have put in everything. Authentic taste. We went for lunch after wine tasting in the area. Best possible option. They have full bar with bar option as well. We need this in downtown San Diego as well. Definitely taking my friends & family. Been wanting to come here and finally the opportunity came. My experience today exceeded my expectations. Check in was very quick and was greeted with a smile!! Once you enter the door, the first thing you'll experience is the aroma of herbs and spices that just permeates the whole restaurant. My taste buds and gastronomic senses were all in Level 5 mode . Our serve, Promo, was very attentive and professional. He took time to explain their best dishes and personal recommendations. In terms of the food everything we ordered were 11/10. This is definitely one of my top 2 Indian-Nepalese resto I've had. So here's what I ordered: 1. Tandoori chicken wings - 10/10 - tender and well seasoned. Very flavorful and you can taste the spices. Amazing appetizer 2. Butter chicken - 12/10 - out of bounds. Overall flavor were so well balanced from herbs and spice and non overpowered the other. 3. Grilled lamb chops - 15/10 - prolly the best grilled lamb chops I've had. Tender smoky herbaceous and well balanced spice. Dipped it with their spicy sauce and mint chutney was divine! 4. Garlic naan - 15/10 - I don't know how they made their naan but it was phenomenal. It must be their tandoori oven. Crispy edges, soft and gooey and lots of garlic and butter flavor. I'm just blown away and glad to have a top notch quality Indian-Nepalese resto in the valley! I'm still surprised by myself that this is my first time here and definitely will be a regular customer for many years!!! read more

.5 | 4.5 Stars First time in the area, and we came here on a Friday night to celebrate a birthday--the vibe was absolutely perfect! I easily made a reservation online beforehand, which was super convenient, though maybe not even necessary. From the second we walked into the beautiful space, we were greeted with smiles and seated immediately. Our server was fantastic--incredibly friendly, helpful, and had a great sense of humor that made the night even better. This was my girlfriend's first time experiencing real Indian food, and she was completely blown away! The Food: Starters: The chicken lollipops and samosas did not disappoint. Incredibly tasty. Mains: We ordered the chicken korma with regular naan. Everything arrived piping hot, perfectly timed, and loaded with flavor. Pro Tip: This goes for just about anywhere, but when they ask for your preferred spice level, always clarify if they mean "American spicy" or "traditional Indian spicy"--because they are two completely different worlds! The only reason I'm leaning toward a 4.5 instead of a flat 5 is that the portion sizes aren't the biggest (though the reasonable prices definitely reflect that), and I want to leave a little room to try more of the menu on my next visit. I would absolutely return in a heartbeat. If you love Indian food, I highly suggest stopping by when you're in the area! read more

I will review again once I eat at the restaurant when food is fresh and hot. I ordered to go and it was made quickly. They have a patio which is nice. 3 stars bc the naan bread was highly disappointing. It was so chewy and did not taste exceptional like every naan I've ever had. I eat vegetarian and Indian food a lot and I'd have to say this naan was by far the worst. I will attribute this assessment to it being "to go", but I want to eat at the restaurant bc the chicken vindaloo was a 10! I loved it! It was so robust in flavor, beautiful texture, and such tender chicken! Absolutely divine! Only negative is that it had no spicy flavor. I ordered their highest level and I could taste only a hint of spicy. Still, it deserves a 10. Because of the vindaloo i want to eat there in person. After my 10 day water fast, ill certainly try their restaurant out! I'll update my review after. read more

Wow that was tasty! I was on my way to a nearby restaurant but got side tracked by the aroma and came in here instead. I was alone on business so I just sat at the bar. Staff were very nice. I ordered pumpkin curry medium spicy and a glass of wine. I hesitated on getting garlic naan bc it would be too much food. But I am so glad I changed my mind! Best garlic naan! The meal was fantastic even if I couldn't eat it all. Highly recommend the place. I want to come back! read more

Happy Diwali! Despite being one of the last diners on a Tuesday evening, we were greeted and met with such good service. The restaurant gives an upscale feel, with the fancier dining sets, but the food feels like it was made at home. In a party of 3, we ordered the chicken momos, saag paneer, tandoori chicken, lamb tikka masala, two orders of naan, and (of course) mango lassi. Yes, we left with quite an amount of leftovers. The food didn't take long to arrive and everything was delicious! Our server, whose name I didn't get, was so attentive and nice - he even let me try a spicy version of the momo sauce for my naan. My personal favorite was the lamb tikka masala; it was so flavorful and the meat was so tender. Our server asked when the next time we would be dining and we didn't lie when we said - very soon! read more

Service tremendous. Food remarkable. This was our 2nd visit. My wife and I always share, and last time We both remembered that we ordered and liked the Tiki Masala. We don't recall what the other thing was that we ordered, anyway we got the Tiki Masala and their chow mein. The chow mein was good, but nothing great. But the Tiki masala was very good and highly recommend. We will likely always order that and try something new everytime we go. My wife likes her food mild to medium and i like my food HOT...so we always order "medium" and ask for spice on the side. They have a VERY FLAVORFUL habanero sauce...not only is it very spicy (my wife says so by dipping a bit on her finger, where my motto is "there is no such thing as "too spicy"), it also is very deep in flavor. A little goes a long way...but i still asked for 2 sides of their habanero sauce (grin). We also both very much liked the mint/cilantro sauce. We dipped both the free chips and the ordered garlic nann bread in the mint sauce and "loved" it. Their selection choice is huge with about 5 or 6 large pages...2 are shown here. Highly recommend and will be back! read more

I stopped in because I could smell curry from the road and the owner and manager both greeted me with a warm welcoming and the friendliest smile ever. It's really nice in there and it's not too loud which is nice if you want a conversation. I gotta say, I don't really like chicken thighs, but if it's like this from here? Sign me up for it! The chicken was amazingly tender, and the curry was just PERFECT! The Himalayan coffee, don't even get me started on the taste, not too bitter, not sweet like a Frappuccino, it was divine! So smooth and perfection. The garlic naan was by the far the BEST I've ever had!! It makes never want to buy store bought again! The basmati rice was super fluffy and flavorful as well.
