We had a great meal at Himalayan Taste in Temecula. The vegetable momos were delicious and disappeared in record time. They were easily one of the highlights of the meal. The lamb seekh kebab was flavorful and tasty, although I found it a little on the dry side. Next time I'll probably try the lamb boti kebab or one of the many other tandoori options on the menu, which all looked excellent. The garlic naan was perfect--fresh, flavorful, and a great complement to everything else we ordered. Overall, a very enjoyable experience with plenty of menu options that make us want to come back and try more. Highly recommended.
This is one of my favorite Indian restaurants in town. In my opinion, their chicken tikka masala is the best in flavor and texture. If I could change one thing, it would be the portion. It's way too small for the price. Portions aren't generous. I have only taken orders to go, but did do a pick up once and the service was fast. The restaurant itself is a great size with plenty of parking.

We've been to the Temecula location several times and the food & service have been consistently good. The Goat Curry (personal favourite) and Lamb Sukha were excellent, tender, full of flavor and well executed. They have another location in San Juan Capistrano (California).
If you are looking for something "out of the ordinary" in the Temecula/Murrieta area, why not give Himalayan a try. Friends of ours staying with us for a couple weeks like Indian food, so we stopped in. So glad we did. As soon as you open the door, the smell of curry takes over your senses (in a good way). We were immediately seated and our waiter came over, poured the water and took our order(s). Shelly and I chose the Mango Chicken entrée (which came with Jasmine rice) with a side order of garlic Naan. To wash it down, I ordered an Old Monk lager (brewed in India ). Fantastic meal...chicken was tender, curry savory, rice fluffy and tasty, Naan just simply delicious. We will return.
We're from San Francisco and when we visit Temecula, Himalayan Taste Temecula is always on our list of restaurants to eat at. I discovered the tomato soup last year. Learned about this delicious bowl of steaming hot and tasty mouthwatering soup from another yelp review. The review was from a mother that said her son loved the tomato soup. Kid? Tomatoes? Hmmmmm, doesn't equate to me, but it must be good if a child likes it. It is sooooooo frickin' delicious. It can be 90 degrees outside and I will still order this hot bowl of yumminess. The food at Himalayan Taste Temecula brings me back to India. It's authentic. It's delicious. It's addictive. The service is spot on and friendly. Enjoy!!! P.S. - Bad habit and I apologize (again). I always get so excited about eating that I forget to take pictures. I finished off the soup before I could snap a pic.
This place is always so delicious! I've ordered a few different items over the many times I've dined here and everything is consistently delicious and clean and authentic. The food is the best Indian food in the area. Very spacious inside with good amount of seating. Service is good too. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for authentic Indian cuisine.
Sometimes a meal is so good, so amazingly satisfying, that your taste buds remain fixed in time. Your palate will not let you forget, it will not let you move on, until you satisfy that impulse again. And so, after two consecutive trips to this restaurant, here's my review. Cuisine: 5/5. I've enjoyed Indian/Pakistani food for years. I almost stuck with my typical selections, but good lord, I'm grateful I listened to my friend and ordered the Butter Chicken. This dish, this one dish, leaves you with the feeling of before, and after. Ridiculously tasty. Try it for yourself. Beverage - 5/5. I'm not here for the beverages, I'm here for the food. That said, nothing like a refreshing Taj Mahal on a hot summer day. Service - 5/5. Friendly, efficient, and down to earth. Ambiance - 5/5. Welcoming and earthy vibes. No complaints. Overall - I think you already know, but 5's across the board. This place will now be a part of my regular food destinations when I'm in Temecula. Looking forward to returning.

As a regular at Himalayan Taste in Temecula, I can honestly say this place has my heart. Every single visit reminds me why I keep coming back. The food is consistently incredible rich, flavorful, and always made fresh. No matter what I order, it never disappoints. The staff feels like family at this point. They're always so kind, welcoming, and attentive, which makes the whole experience even better. It's rare to find a restaurant that nails both amazing food and genuine hospitality every time. I absolutely love this place and recommend it to everyone I know. If you haven't tried it yet, you're missing out. This is hands down one of my favorite spots in town!
Took us too long to try this Indian gem. Everything we ordered had a depth of flavor like no other. Very happy that it's really close to our house. We started out with the sampler appetizer which was fantastic. We also had the tandoori chicken and vindaloo chicken with a side of garlic naan. They provide generous portions and we could've had 2 more people to help us. Luckily it will be great leftovers. The staff is very friendly as well. Definitely will be our go to for Indian food.

Friyay came and cooking was off the table! After a brief moment of possibilities I decided on Indian cuisine and Himalayan Taste has great curry. Ordered the Lamb Curry, Saag Paneer Curry and Garlic Naan, for carry-out. Popped a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon and I was in heaven! Tender, juicy, mouth watering Lamb with just the right amount of heat! And the Saag Paneer was creamy. Totally refreshing and delicious read more

Took us too long to try this Indian gem. Everything we ordered had a depth of flavor like no other. Very happy that it's really close to our house. The moment we walked in the aromas of the foods all came at us and got us even more excited for our upcoming meal. It was pretty busy but still some seating available. Others grabbed food to go near the door as well. Our waters always stayed filled, with the servers all being very attentive. the food was delicious, and everything was very clean. Noise volume was midrange, which is very appropriate for the setting. The only real downside to our visit was how long it took to get our food, but once it started to come out of the kitchen it was all fresh, hot, and came out all together. read more

The best Chicken Tikka Marsela and Aloo Gobi I've ever had. Perfect garlic naan as well. Ambiance here and service are OK, beer and wine option at affordable prices. But man the food is the star. I've eaten Indian all over So Cal (LA, LB, Little India in Artesia) and as mentioned this tops them all. read more

There's a lot of great things always said about this place. Some say it's a hidden gem. I frequent the Sprouts and Esporta that share the plaza, so it's never been so hidden to me. This was the first time I considered giving it a try. I don't come across many bad Indian spots and here was no different. The ambience inside is nice and I had some time so I dined in. Lots of tables for groups or even solo diners. I was helped quickly and served in a timely manner. From the lentil soup to the main course, everything was satisfying. My samosas were big and filling. My tikka masala was great, with big chunks of fish. Not sure how common it is but I would've preferred a brown rice option, but that's a small gripe of mine. Looking forward to returning and trying something else. read more
Vynikající jídlo!! Yummy!! We tried this place out today. Himalayan Taste Temecula is in the Esporta/NFCU shopping center off Winchester & Nicolas, right across Chaparral HS. Upon walking in, I was greeted with that yummy, delicious, aromatic smell of Indian spices. I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala, 2 orders of the Garlic Naan (since they don't give you any w your entree), and the Saag Paneer for my daughter. Since I placed the order there, I kinda had to wait a long minute before I got my takeout order (which was cool, since i didn't mind waiting). Jack (guy at the counter) offered me a cup of iced water while I waited, and I thought that was very nice of him. Chicken Tikka Masala was very good. Vynikající!! It was flavored with lots of spices and very flavorful. We got it medium level spicy, but it was pretty spicy (that's ok, I like my food on fire, yum)!! I also liked how it was made with white meat chicken breast. Saag Paneer was alright. It was more on the bland side, it wasn't as flavorful as other Saag Paneers I've had from other places. Garlic Naan was delicious!! It had bits and pieces of fresh garlic and chopped cilantro which gave it a really scrumptious taste!! This was even amazing by itself, without dipping it in the Saag Paneer or the Chicken Tikka Masala. I've yet to try other items from here. Service was good and food was fiiiire!! This restaurant has very good food, it's neat and clean inside and the prices are reasonable. The restaurant is not particularly fancy inside. It basically seems like a local family type, where the emphasis is on good food for a reasonable price. I ordered the lamb vindaloo for $18.99, and unfortunately was told I could not order it "mild", as is the case for most of the other dishes. It was therefore a little too spicy for my liking, but still quite good. I also ordered a side of garlic naan for $3.99 which was quite excellent. read more
Good was piping hot, fresh and delicious! Service was great too, even tho it was just a pick up. I greeted with a genuine smile and hello. I had to wait a little bit for my order but was reassured it would be done in no time. Definitely was worth the wait. The place was very cute and clean. Yum!!!! We waited a long time, too long in fact to go here. Now we cannot wait to get back. Our buddies had agreed to join us some time ago but you know, life. We had a birthday to celebrate so we stopped in and man is it as tasty as shared! My experience with Indian food has been that I can never find it made as authentic and as spiced just right, meat stewed perfectly, garlic naan made perfectly - as I can in Salisbury, England (my husband's hometown). Well we have!!! In our current hometown. We are so going to be regulars here now. My hubs makes curries for us too but he deserves a break now and then. Ha! Our kids will love it here! read more

Too lazy to go out and so was the kids, so ordered thru Uber Eats. Food was excellent and very tasty. The spiciness was perfect, hot enough to make you actually taste the food and not cry. Fast delivery service from uber. The only problem was my order was not complete, it was missing the butter chicken. Did a refund thru uber eats. We will see if I get my money back. Aside from that I was satisfied and our belly is happy. read more
