I feel like I have to give a review just so nobody else expecting your traditional "chicken kabobs" to make the same mistake. So the food was not good. I'm giving it 3 stars cuz I feel bad taking down a rating but it deserves 1 star. The "salad" that came with my meal was actual a couple of slices of tomato, onions and green peppers on top of the rice. I'm not being dramatic when I tell you I thought it was garnish. I actually asked them if they forgot my salad. The hummus was sour tasting. The chicken and butter chicken didn't taste good. I ate it just because we paid $30 for two meals, a hummus and a soda. my husband wouldn't eat it. My small children whom I was sharing with also didn't eat. The Kabob Connection is a gem! A friend informed me of this amazing chicken kabob he had and told me he got it from Kabob Connection! I was in the mood for something a little different, so why not? It was highly recommended by this friend! Kabob Connection definitely has a new restaurant feel! It is ok located near Arundel Mills in a strip mall! Upon entry, I was greeted by a very nice young man! The decor was very industrial, but it definitely didn't feel cold! The staff were soo nice! While waiting for my food, I overheard a customer telling the owner how much she loved the food and how coming to Kabob Connection was the only place she was leaving her house for that day! She praised the owner and the food! I knew I must be in for a treat at this moment!! I ordered the Tuesday special, butter chicken. It was a Saturday, but this was available! I decided that I wanted to give it a go! It was accompanied by toasted naan! I ordered by food to go and when it was ready, the young man at the front warned me about the heat at the bottom of the bag and informed me to "be careful!" I took my food and headed home! This butter chicken dish was sooo flavorful! It was accompanied with saffron rice throb peppers, red onions and tomatoes! This dish was the truth! I couldn't stop eating it! The chicken thighs were so juicy and tender: spoon tender! The naan bread was the best accompaniment! So, I would definitely come back to Kabob Connection! The Hanover Location at the shopping center with Safeway. 7645 Arundel Mills Blvd Firstly they messed up our order. We ordered two steak kabob platters and they sent us two salads. When we called to state that our order was wrong I got a: well we ran out of rice so we gave you more salad! When I said that the price between a salad and a steak platter was significantly different I was once again told that "this is why we gave you more salad." The steak was old and almost going rotten. The color was off and the smell was foul. The pita bread was not pita bread, it was super thin pizza dough, the same you'll get if you bought whole grain pizza dough and it was undercooked. We spend 108 dollars in four meals, two of which were not edible by any means with steak at the verge of being bad. The people in the phone were rude and condescending. Even the Uber driver, when I called stating we got the wrong order, stated that the people in the restaurant were rushing, rude, and not paying attention! I had really high hopes for this place since it's close by, absolutely won't go here! Next time, I'll go to the truck at the cellphone lot at BWI - his food is delicious, fresh, halal, and he is always in a pleasant mood! read more

I have lived in New York and Philly looking for the best Halal food and gyros especially and omg, this food has CONSISTENTLY been the most fresh and most seasoned middle eastern food in the area. The chicken and lamb kabobs are to die for, put them in a wrap or eat it with some of their FRESH pitas and garlic hummus and you will die and go to heaven. Be sure to ask for white and green sauce on the side, it elevates any of their entrees and is made fresh daily at the shop I heard. read more

Places not to be missed in Severn, Cantina Mama Lucia, Little Spice and now Kabob Connection. The hummus is amazingly fresh and creamy, love both the plain and red pepper. The harissa is a nice accompanyment too. My husband loves the butter chicken and the goat specials. I am a huge fan of the chicken kabob over salad/ spicy. We have been going to their location in the Columbia mall for years. We were so happy to have them move so close to our house. This is my first review after quarantine!! How exciting. So even though I have started venturing out to get takeout, this is the first new place I have had - so let's talk about it. I knew about this spot ever since the first one opened its location in The Mall in Columbia. I never used to go on my own but my family would bring home their gyros all the time and I would end up eating them. I am not sure where the owners are from (Desi, Iranian?), I am super curious because the cuisine is very much fusion style. Anyway, that is not the point. I went here on a weekday afternoon and ordered the lamb kabob and asked for it to be extra spicy - my friend ordered a combo of koobideh and ground chicken kabob. It took a while to get our food, but I didn't mind since I knew they were making it fresh. Let me tell you, the lamb kabob was DELICIOUS and soo spicy. I love it when I ask for things spicy and the chef actually pulls through. The rice was delicious, fluffy, and flavored well. The koobideh was also good - juicy. The two things that fell flat for me were the ground chicken kabob and the chickpeas. Nobody can match Maiwands chickpeas - I have tried countless places and it just never lives up to the hype. The ground chicken kabob also was just lackluster. Overall though I really enjoyed my meal and will definitely be returning! read more

Tried this place for the first time tonight and I was not impressed at all. I was actually thoroughly disappointed. I left a $4 tip on a pickup order (to support the business) and I ordered a side of chick peas with my steak kabob that were not even included in my order. The steak kabob was over cooked to dry and not seasoned well making it very bland. The same with the rice. If you want good kabobs I highly suggest going to Maiwand Kabob..they season their meat and rice to perfection and it never disappoints. This place is amazing! It is worth the wait. My husband and I had the chicken tikka kabobs( pulls apart like nothing) , spicy salmon kabobs ( melted like butter in your mouth) and spicy lamb chops ( yum! ) . The pita bread is made right there with a special machine/stone and was served steaming hot! The chef even went next door to get more salmon because it's that popular! She went the distance for us.
