We brought our golden retriever in who has anxiety from a past traumatic grooming experience with an aggressive groomer. Valerie was incredibly patient and gentle with him, taking her time to make sure he felt comfortable. You can tell she truly cares about the dogs she works with. His haircut turned out great, and we couldn't be happier. I also really appreciate that the pets are groomed in an open area where you can see them, instead of being taken to a room in the back. That gave me so much peace of mind. Highly recommend!

She cut his hair exactly how we wanted it and better some places make him look like a rat cause his hair gets matted but she didn't complain and just told us the truth about having a tangle by his neck . Her prices are fair too so I'll be taking my dog to her all the time. She has many years of experience! I highly recommend! Thank you K9Klipper!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SPOT! Have taken my baby here twice now and both times he has come out looking amazing. Also love that after each appointment they have texted saying that he is ready with the cutest edited pictures! Canine clippers came to the rescue! I wish I had a before picture! Needless to say everybody should come here - you'll walk away with a fabulous experience on every level with groomers you can trust! I chose K9Klippers from the many groomer options in the area for a few reasons: positive reviews on Yelp, all their pricing was upfront online, and ease of scheduling an appointment online. I made an appointment on Tuesday night around 9pm for the next day and was confirmed within minutes. Things were hectic when we showed up for our appointment (think like the vet - dogs barking and loud noises) but I could tell they were going to be kind and patient with my Daisy girl. I got her back 3 hours later and while she had a hard time and was really scared - they were so sweet and patient with her. I'm beyond grateful for the care they gave her (especially for her first time ever at the groomer). We did a medicated wash and the spaws package and it was so worth it. Her coat is so clean and soft! It was an eventful afternoon for my girl but she's at home resting and all clean and cute now. I will be coming back and don't even want to try other groomers! I can't say enough good things about this K9 groomer in Long Beach! Booking was so easy and convenient I was able to schedule an appointment the same day right through their website, and I really appreciated that all the pricing was listed clearly online. When we arrived, the groomers were incredibly friendly and caring. My pup was very matted and I was a little nervous about how he'd look after, but they did such an amazing job! He came out looking (and smelling) absolutely fantastic like a whole new dog. You can tell they truly care about the dogs they work with, and they took their time to make sure he was comfortable throughout the grooming process. They welcomed my fur baby without an appointment and gave her a full haircut and bath with no hassle at all. K9klippers have saved my dogs appearance, attitude and overall his tail has never wagged with complete happiness. This is my 3rd time bringing him to a location. 1st location in cypress we'll they cute him so bad and never told me until I seen it and it wasn't good the next few times. 2nd time was petsmart they said my dog was not worthy. Established in 2024.

I am a pet groomer with over 30 years experience. My passion for animals started at a very young age. My mission is to make the experience for your fur babies the most compassionate and enjoyable that possible. Up until recently, I have worked for other Groom shops and decided to start my own. I want to make it convenient to book appointments and get the day and time that you desire.

Mission Statement: As we all know. Our animals are our babies. Unfortunately they cannot speak for themselves. We don’t just groom pets, we are a voice for the unspoken. We believe in working as a team with pet parents to ensure the best quality of lifestyle for their fur babies. We want to have an understanding that it’s a team effort between the pet parent and the groomer to be able to achieve desire-able haircuts for the fur baby, their parents, and for us as well. We also aim to offer sound advice as far as diet recommendations for pets. Having healthy skin, coat, and digestion goes hand in hand with grooming to ensure a quality life in our fur babies.

The first time we came it so happened to be the week of the Grand Prix, so they gave Darby a racing stripe bandana (SO CUTE)! I've noticed most clients are small dogs, and highly recommend this local spot for their great service and reasonable rates ($15 for aforementioned nail trim; most big box pet stores charge $20 minimum). The front section is for haircuts and pedicures, and back section is for baths and spa treatments. Don't forget to pick up a beef or salmon treat for your pup on the way out!

Unfortunately, my experience left me very disappointed. I was quoted a base price of $120, with the first 30 minutes of dematting included and any additional dematting billed at $1 per minute. I understood there could be additional charges if my puppy required extra work. However, what I did not expect was for the cost to continue increasing without any communication. Around 8:40pm, I checked in and was told they had just started drying him. Based on that update, I told them to take their time because I believed the appointment was nearing completion. I was never contacted to let me know the bill was approaching several hundred dollars or to ask whether I wanted them to continue. Instead, my puppy remained at the salon until approximately 11:15pm, nearly seven hours after drop-off. After waiting all evening, I was the one who finally texted to let them know I was coming to pick him up because the appointment had gone on far longer than expected. I also let them know it was okay if he wasn't finished, as it was already very late and the appointment had gone on for nearly seven hours. When I arrived, I was told they had spent four hours dematting him, resulting in a final bill of $400. What was especially frustrating is that, despite the lengthy appointment and significant cost, the groom was not completed. I was offered the option to bring him back another day to finish the service. I understand that severely matted dogs require additional time and that groomers deserve to be compensated for that work. My concern is the lack of communication as the cost continued to climb and the amount of time my young puppy spent at the salon for an unfinished groom. A quick phone call to discuss the options or to place a limit on the charges would have gone a long way. I do want to acknowledge that Sivan was kind and professional during our interactions. My concerns are not about the friendliness of the staff, but rather the communication around the cost, the length of the appointment, and the fact that the groom was not completed. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I won't be returning.

Just in case anyone else is reading this that has a one-eyed dog (or any dog with blindness), Tanyss's most recent rescue is a one-eyed dog too, so that made me feel much better :) APPOINTMENT/COMMUNICATION: I called on Thursday but they were closed for a staff event; they got back to me asap by text & I ended up scheduling for Saturday afternoon. Elle called when Lily was almost done (only 30 mins later). Their communication is very quick and clear so if you have any questions regarding services, feel free to ask ahead of time! PAYMENT: They accept cash and check, but you get free enzymatic teeth brushing if you pay cash! My dog is 9-10lbs & pricing depends on weight, but for an all-inclusive flea bath (nails, teeth, blueberry facial, gland expression) I paid less than $50 before tip. Keep in mind this is the same Lily who loses it if I bring her to a pet store (another place that smells like a bunch of dogs have been there). Do not get me started on the vet--this chihuahua acts like she's being deployed. She was confused when we first tried to enter, & Elle (as in not me Elle) suggested I pick her up so she doesn't get out of her harness, which is TOO accurate bc that exact thing has happened to us sooooooo many times. Elle clearly knows dogs, haha. But when I picked her up, she couldn't be more chill! PARKING: So turns out you can stop at the red loading zone right in front for pickup/drop-off, & Elle even explained that if the police pull up, they'll bat for you as a client who was literally unloading a dog, LOL. I didn't see the text about the loading zone & ended up parked a few blocks down the street, because parking in this area is a struggle. Use the loading zone! Save yourself! SUMMARY: Lily has her new grooming place :)))
