Friendly on the phone, explained services thoroughly, place is clean, quit and calm. My dog hadn't had a full groom before and I felt very safe leaving her. They were quick and I especially loved the amazing job they did on her nails. Oh and prices are very fair. Will definitely return.

We take our senior chihuahua here for a nail trim every month and all of the technicians are so sweet and gentle with her! 10/10 recommend

I was dog sitting for family for a few weeks and decided to have him groomed before the dog gets picked up to go home. I wanted a more non-corporate place and found Dirty Paws. Rachel did a fantastic job with the dog. He tends to be squirmy and does not like his paws touched and refuses to be brushed even when his parents try to do it. It's challenging for sure. But Rachel did a fantastic job! She even got out his tear stains/eye boogers. It's been tough for me because he absolutely refuses to get his face wiped, much less his eye area. Thank you for your patience with him and he looks amazing!

Calm and content at pick up

Dirty Paws did a great job giving my dog the royal treatment. He came home smelling clean and was not anxious at pick up. He's normally a pretty chill old fella, but there have been times he was anxious at pick up from other groomers but not this time. The shop is clean, busy but not loud, and very friendly. We will definitely be back! Isaac is the groomer who took great care and did the grooming, very patient and gave a quick report of how our dog did and issues he saw for us to be aware. Very much appreciated. Price is very decent and based on the experience, worth the money. Thank you Dirty Paws/Isaac!

This is my first time bringing my dogs to Dirty Paws. I brought one of my dogs and my mother in laws dog for a full groom and the charges were reasonable and they did an excellent job. Rachel did the grooming and she did a beautiful cut on the Chiuasky (Chihuahua/Husky mix). And the dogs were very happy when I picked them up which made me feel even better. One is quite vocal like a purebred husky if she is not happy. And I LOVE the little snap on bow collars that they were given after grooming. I had been having my dogs groomed for years at another location a few miles away from here and had enough of their constant jacking up rates.

I think they hired a new groomer because I've been to this location several times and never had any issues until yesterday. We too our labradoodle in for a groom and a haircut as we've done 3 other times. I get a phone call that they need to stop the groom because our dog is nervous and won't let the groomer cut her hair and it's not safe. I ask if they can continue with just washing and the groomer gets on the phone and says it's not safe and they have to stop. She tells me we need to get her sedatives from the vet before bringing her back. I tell her that's odd because we were just there in September and had no issue. She tells me "it shows the last time she was here was over a year ago, maybe the records are under a different name." That makes no sense because our dog is only 10 months old and I absolutely brought her in September (photo 1). My husband goes to pick up the dog and sends me a photo (photo 2). They had attempted to completely shave her face and neck. We have NEVER had this happen. For dogs like ours, you are supposed to use scissors, especially on the face. And they were using a choke collar, which we never use at home. I am super disappointed as I thought we had found our grooming place but I will not be back.

Unfortunately, my experience left me very disappointed. I was quoted a base price of $120, with the first 30 minutes of dematting included and any additional dematting billed at $1 per minute. I understood there could be additional charges if my puppy required extra work. However, what I did not expect was for the cost to continue increasing without any communication. Around 8:40pm, I checked in and was told they had just started drying him. Based on that update, I told them to take their time because I believed the appointment was nearing completion. I was never contacted to let me know the bill was approaching several hundred dollars or to ask whether I wanted them to continue. Instead, my puppy remained at the salon until approximately 11:15pm, nearly seven hours after drop-off. After waiting all evening, I was the one who finally texted to let them know I was coming to pick him up because the appointment had gone on far longer than expected. I also let them know it was okay if he wasn't finished, as it was already very late and the appointment had gone on for nearly seven hours. When I arrived, I was told they had spent four hours dematting him, resulting in a final bill of $400. What was especially frustrating is that, despite the lengthy appointment and significant cost, the groom was not completed. I was offered the option to bring him back another day to finish the service. I understand that severely matted dogs require additional time and that groomers deserve to be compensated for that work. My concern is the lack of communication as the cost continued to climb and the amount of time my young puppy spent at the salon for an unfinished groom. A quick phone call to discuss the options or to place a limit on the charges would have gone a long way. I do want to acknowledge that Sivan was kind and professional during our interactions. My concerns are not about the friendliness of the staff, but rather the communication around the cost, the length of the appointment, and the fact that the groom was not completed. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I won't be returning.

Lily recently had an eye surgery, so I was paranoid reading reviews for other groomers. We'd prefer to keep the eye we still have. Soggy Dog definitely lives up to its 5-star reviews! Just in case anyone else is reading this that has a one-eyed dog (or any dog with blindness), Tanyss's most recent rescue is a one-eyed dog too, so that made me feel much better :) APPOINTMENT/COMMUNICATION: I called on Thursday but they were closed for a staff event; they got back to me asap by text & I ended up scheduling for Saturday afternoon. Elle called when Lily was almost done (only 30 mins later). Their communication is very quick and clear so if you have any questions regarding services, feel free to ask ahead of time! PAYMENT: They accept cash and check, but you get free enzymatic teeth brushing if you pay cash! My dog is 9-10lbs & pricing depends on weight, but for an all-inclusive flea bath (nails, teeth, blueberry facial, gland expression) I paid less than $50 before tip. That is significantly less than I've been charged at other places. Tanyss even explained that with the rising costs of living, they strive to make such services affordable :) MY FEARFUL REACTIVE DOG: was very comfortable here. When I picked her up, Elle (we share a name!!) was holding her & Lily wasn't shaking?? She also wasn't desperate to leave; she was so chill?? Keep in mind this is the same Lily who loses it if I bring her to a pet store (another place that smells like a bunch of dogs have been there). Do not get me started on the vet--this chihuahua acts like she's being deployed. She was confused when we first tried to enter, & Elle (as in not me Elle) suggested I pick her up so she doesn't get out of her harness, which is TOO accurate bc that exact thing has happened to us sooooooo many times. Elle clearly knows dogs, haha. But when I picked her up, she couldn't be more chill! PARKING: So turns out you can stop at the red loading zone right in front for pickup/drop-off, & Elle even explained that if the police pull up, they'll bat for you as a client who was literally unloading a dog, LOL. I didn't see the text about the loading zone & ended up parked a few blocks down the street, because parking in this area is a struggle. Use the loading zone! Save yourself! SUMMARY: Lily has her new grooming place :)))

It was a last minute appointment needed for the little pup and with the help of Yelp, we found Sara. I put in a searched which came up with places for what I was looking for. There were a few places that came up but she was the first to reach out. The sweet conversation explained what I was looking for and she replied professionally with what services they offered. Between a few back and forth we were able to get him in last minute. She squeezed us in day off which we were very thankful of. The place itself was in a mini strip mall with a few other businesses. A thrift/vintage shop, a bar, a few coffee shops, hair salon and nail shop. There's a decent size parking lot but when we arrived it was packed but lucky enough to find a spot. When we walked in, it was a little confusing as it was a vet. The ladies behind the counters were all sweet when we checked in but wasn't sure we were at the right place. Well, it's a vet and groomers on site. It was just a couple minutes wait till Sara came out to greet us. First off, she's such a doll and sweetheart. Very professional and takes pride in what she does. Chatted with here for a little bit about what we wanted before handing over the little pup to her. We were quoted about 2 and half hour or so which she'll call us 20 minutes before hand to let us know he'll be ready soon. Freddie Mercury was in good hand. Picking him up, he was such a cutie. The bathing, cut and grooming was great. Nails were cut and file for that nice finished look. Also he had the cutest little bow tie on which was the little icing on the cake. From the chat on Yelp, Sara explained all the pricing and services ahead of time to give us the breakdown. As it was our first time, she did take good care of us with everything. Total for everything and extra add on including gratuity and discounts for first time, it was just short of 130.00. Price wise for everything was good. It was worth it and her service was very well worth it. Even though we're not from the area and it was a last minute appointment, we're keeping her in our book as we'll be back in town again and know Freddie will be in good hands next time. The place was very professional and clean. There's a drinks section with a mini fridge of drinks and a water station for refilling your bottles and coffee machine. It was busy which is great for them. Sara, a professional and sweet person who has a special skills for what she does. Friendly, sweet and a doll. Highly recommend Sara.
