Why there isn't a no star ranking, this place doesn't deserve a single star. When good gone bad. This was my 3rd visit here and definitely the last. The service was terrible (totally different from the first visit), but even worse was the haircut my dog received. When I brought him home, I noticed red scratches and a small bump on his skin -- clearly from poor handling. Completely unacceptable. Think twice before u take ur baby here! I got an instant response to my post from the owner. If they paid as much attention to the dogs as they do to online posts, the dogs would actually get proper care. It's interesting to see that this business owner thinks customers should stay quiet and not tell the truth -- and when they do, it's called harassment. read more

After my MIL having a horrible experience with her dog getting hurt here we decided to give her a second chance, I took my dog to get groomed at 1, it was past 6 and still no call. I arrived at the location sat in my car for 6-10 mintutes I saw how he was just on the table leashed to by his neck, while no one was tending to him. Who knows how long before I arrived was he alone like this. I finally got off and asked how much longer and why he was not getting tended too. She got upset cause I was calling her out and continued to say I'm the owner/manager I'm busy I was just in the other room. Am I was mad and told her that's exactly how our other dog got hurt. The vet stated he was leashed by the neck either too long or got impatient and tried to jump, they don't care for the animals here, how can you just leave why can't you just finish the dog and them go do something else. There's no excuse for that. I still paid because I wanted my dog back I shouldn't have been charged since they didn't even finish him off. Now I have to pay again and take him elsewhere . I wasn't gunna let my dog be in distress until she had the time to finish him. I did advise her she should've warned me she was overbooked and I wouldn't have taken him In. She was so unprofessional. So very disappointed because we wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt in the first place but after witnessing myself. Never again read more

We started bringing our 5 dogs here just because of the name and the image on the window. We are huge Star Wars fans and felt the force calling to us! They had more than 5 hours to groom him and when we picked him up he was still not ready! The owner/ manager was being super rude to my cousin and one of the girls was just sitting down looking at her tablet. It is scary knowing a pet is just standing on a table being leashed by the neck for who knows how long not getting attended too, the dog could've fallen and gotten seriously hurt or would've gotten a neck injury. Never again will go and I personally will never forgive how the lack of care directed towards us or our animal- did you not notice how my husband wouldn't look you in the face. It was to you. And you still have the person working there who did that terrible work to our Yorkie. And more importantly, you had always lead us to believe you were doing the haircuts, but you weren't even there to observe and give directions to your new staff. THIS IS LONG BUT PLEASE READ // YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT: I have been bringing my 3 fur babies to this groomer for years. She was working with another company and has ventured out on her own. With that said same EXCELLENT care, love, and TLC given to all three of my fur babies. All 3 LOVE going to get groomed!!!!! Just an FYI --- I have 2 90lb Pits and a 9lb Yorkee (3 totally different personalities).... So I am giving a review on both sides of the spectrum LONG HAIR & SHORT HAIR.... My Yorkee because of her long hair, they see sometimes more than we do... So within a 4 week period (from the last time she was groomed) she had gotten a really bad ear infection. They notified me right away (sent pictures) when they saw it, appointment with the vet was scheduled right then and there. From picking her up we were at the vets getting it addressed, no time wasted. They have also assisted with other concerns with my other 2 also, for example pits are know for allergies, skin irritation they will ask around those seasonal times if I want to use the medicated wash for them it helps with the skin irritation. They are like our extended family now!! It takes a village to raise kids they are apart of my village... And for the hoooomans they are very understanding that our fur babies are our everything.. My yorkee was a rescue and she was in bad shape and it was my 1st time taking a dog to the groomers. She had already gone through so much on the streets and I was really concerned, left feeling she would be in good hands. She came out looking like a new pup and was very content. 1st of my Pits is a scaredy dog (scared of everything) she loves going because she gets to visit her other doggie friends. 2nd Pit has ADHD (hyper like crazy, very protective) I was worried taking her to the groomers but they are very professional and we came up with a time that would work with my concerns. She is the sweetest puppy dog but I always take into consideration her surroundings. My nerves were settled and she now loves going and looks forward to her visit... P.S. the pricing is just right... I always tip more then I should because they deserve it!!!! I live in Lakewood CA do not know why it says San Francisco for my location. HOPES THIS HELPS WITH YOUR DECISION!!!!! read more

I had a wonderful experience bringing my 7 year old German shepherd in to the bark side! My dog requires a lot of attention and grooming him takes like 3-4 hours. The bark side takes such good care of him that we have been back multiple times now and I plan on bringing him in every 6 weeks to keep him happy. read more

Took my dog here for an appointment and 3 hours later she was still sitting in a cage only had a bath, the receptionist "Kimmie" had attitude when i asked her how long it would take to cut the hair, she then went on to say she had to b a bond with the dogs only to leave them in the cages. She then proceeded to charge me 52$ for a bath and nail trim without a haircut, if you plan on coming here just prepare for attitude and not having you dog back till 10pm. This business took over where "Give a Fluff" used to be, and where I used to take my dog to get her groomed. I have a 120lb Black Russian Terrier and it took a while to find a groomer that my dog liked and that I was comfortable with. When Give a Fluff advised they were moving locations, I was excited that they were staying locally. However, the owner contacted me to advise that the groomer that usually handled my dog quit, and she did not feel she could handle my dog . I was beyond excited to find that the very same groomer who handled my dog took over the old location. My dog was groomed there today. The service was great, my dog looks great, and the staff is friendly. I could not be happier. I would highly recommend this service for any sized dog, but especially those with larger dogs. read more
