Purrfect Pet TERROR! My experience with them. I made an 11:30am appointment for Saturday September 26th, 2026. I dropped my cat Bella off at 11:30am for a grooming and haircut. They said that it would take approximately 4 hours which I thought was a long time but regretfully went with it. I had not heard from them four hours later so I texted them asking how my cat was. They responded that they were still working on her. 5 o'clock rolls around and I'm kinda freaked. I texted again saying that it's after 5p and that I was on my way to pick up Bella. They responded while I was on the way that she was not ready. I get there and asked them what was going on. A heavier set woman with a Richie Cunningham haircut said that she tried to cut her hair before bathing her but her hair was too greasy which is BS btw. Also, they would not let me see her. I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Mistake on my part. It's 5:15p at this point. I went home hoping for the best. 7p rolls around and I'm totally freaking out at this point! I tried calling and no answer so I texted again saying that it was after 7p and asked if she was close to being done. Bella has now been there over 7 hours!! they responded 15 minutes later saying that it was going to cost $110 dollars, cash only and that she was ready to pick up. I went back again, put the money on the table, grabbed my cat and drove home to find her still wet, no haircut and miserable! Infuriating and extremely painful and sad! I'm in touch with the Better Business Bureau as well as this review. Purrfect Pet Parlor has no business being a business in my opinion. Horrible business, horrible people! I am attaching screenshots of our back and forth texts. If you hate your pets and want to torture them, PURRFECT PET PARLOR is your spot!! read more

I discovered this little gem on my way to the post office and have been bringing my dog Darby ever since! He takes baths at home, but I entrust the nail grinding to the team at Purrfect. Since Darby came from a hoarding situation, he is usually nervous about going into any parlor - but the staff here always treats him so kindly and trim his nails super fast. The first time we came it so happened to be the week of the Grand Prix, so they gave Darby a racing stripe bandana (SO CUTE)! I've noticed most clients are small dogs, and highly recommend this local spot for their great service and reasonable rates ($15 for aforementioned nail trim; most big box pet stores charge $20 minimum). The front section is for haircuts and pedicures, and back section is for baths and spa treatments. Don't forget to pick up a beef or salmon treat for your pup on the way out! read more

I have been taking my dog here for grooming for several years and have always had a good experience. Brought my dog in Mother's Day and after we waited four hours left without a hair cut. Glands were done he just been shampooed. They quickly trimmed his nails. They dried his hair and I took him home without being cut. They asked for $75 the owner told me she forgot to mention she had raised the price since the last time we were in. Disappointed with the experience. Won't be going back. I tried calling the shop after waiting 3 hrs and no one bothered to pick up the phone. I would suggest more groomers or schedule less appointments. It would also be great to have better communication. read more

I can't say enough good things about this place. We take our dog here weekly for her "spa" treatments. The staff is very friendly and treats her like a queen. The quality of work is impeccable... they spend a lot of time with her and she enjoys her time getting pampered. They truly care about all animals. My dad saw a dog walking alone on the street. It seemed he couldn't find his owner. This place took the dog in without hesitation, cleaned him up and then helped to find his owner. Come to find out the owner was disabled with nowhere to stay and couldn't walk his dog so the dog was essentially walking himself. All that to say they went out of their way to help which is rare and the dog and his owner were happily reunited! Pricing is reasonable for the quality of work. This place is clean, ethical and a joy to come to each week. They also always give our pup the cutest little handkerchiefs! Thank you Purrfect! And Baanou says thank you also :) read more

We have two standard poodles and we have had them for 4 years. We've only trusted one Master groomer to groom our fur babies for the past four years. My husband didn't want to drive way to Studio City being that we live in Long Beach and wanted to give this place a try. I must admit I was extremely nervous because not ever groomer know how to do the classic Continental cut. This company did not disappoint! I was shocked at how well their cuts turned out. From the rosettes, their ears. Everything was just excellent. I highly recommend this company and they have just gained new frequent customers. read more

My boyfriend and I brought in our ragdoll kitten, Bubbles to get groomed for the first time and they did such an amazing job! We couldn't be happier with the service provided and I honestly highly highly recommend! I'm not big on leaving reviews unless I was extremely pleased with the service. Everyone was so kind and welcoming when I arrived to drop off bubbles, especially that I was running 10 minutes late. They were very understanding and were very helpful in answering questions I had. They were so kind, caring and gentle with my bubbles and I love that they posted videos of the process on their instagram story so I got to see our little kitten enjoying himself. Our bubbles feels so fluffy soft and clean! They did such a good job trimming his fur. We will definitely continue to bring our 2 cats here going forward. So glad we found our new grooming spot for our babies. Don't miss out and come check them out you won't regret it read more

This is the worst experience I've had with a dog groomer. I bring my cocker spaniel in for a cut, the woman KNICKS his neck so I have to bring him in soon for her to finish the cut, annoying but OK. I still pay her more than I should have. I book the next appointment weeks later over the phone for 9:30am. The morning of I get a call literally TEN MINUTES PRIOR saying they have to reschedule. Last chance, I rebooked over the phone. This time I bring him in and they happily take him in the back, no issues. Two hours later, I get a call from them telling me I DROPPED HIM OFF TOO EARLY? When asked why they said nothing before, the woman just said "ya that was my fault." So I rush over and find my little boy locked in a cage. They did nothing but lock him in a cage for two hours. I was entirely too patient and kind with these irresponsible people. GOOD LUCK. I WON'T BE BACK. X read more

Got my kitty groomed here for the first time, and she did a fantastic job! I used to go to BarkBark but there isn't a cat groomer there anymore. I was able to get an appointment within a week or so. After taking my 8 month old puppy, Chloe, to a couple of different groomers, and making a few attempts myself, I finally found Perfect Pet Parlor. The ladies that work there are extremely knowledgeable, professional, and so sweet. I felt very comfortable leaving my little fur baby with them. It's been over a month since Chloe was groomed, due to begin spayed and appointment cancelations, so she was way overdue. When I picked her up, I was extremely impressed with her cut. So was Chloe. I didn't even know she had such luxurious eyelashes. Her sassy little ass kept stopping at the mirror in my room, and doing little turns. Now, she looks like she should be in a Disney cartoon. I've finally found my groomer. Thank you ladies. read more

I have two, one year old puppies and I was looking locally for their first grooming. After reading positive reviews about Purrfect Pet Parlor on NextDoor App, I called to book an appointment. Many other businesses have not returned or answered my calls, but Joanna answered and was able to book an appointment for both puppies within the next week. When I arrived, she was SO warm, welcoming, friendly and informative. The business is clean, easy to find and she made my puppies feel at ease. I came a few hours later to pick them up and was in tears.... they looked SO good!!! I was looking for a local groomer and I stumbled upon Purrfect Pet Parlor. Unlike the other groomers I called, they were very flexible and were able to see Tofu the same day for a nail trim (long overdue). Prices were reasonable. Upon arrival, the lady working in the front who also did the nail trimming was very sweet and attentive. Tofu's usually anxious when he meets people, but she made sure he was comfortable. He left the groomers smiling and happy. I am very satisfied with the service, and will def bring him back for a full grooming. Thanks so much! read more

There's a certain attitude here that I didn't expect. I was told my dog is aggressive and difficult. Everyone who even looks at my dog knows he's the most docile thing you'll ever meet. He's four years old and is not new to being groomed. I just moved so wanted to find a place closer. They charged me an extra $15 for him being "difficult" and then wouldn't allow me to bring him back unless I brought him in every month for "grooming training" so basically they wanted more money and claim they're professional hair cutters and pointed to my dogs hair on his paws that the reason I never had this issue before is because his cuts weren't professionally done. A few months later and his paw hair grew out just the same as the last grooming spot we went too! Let's just say I will be making the 30 minute drive to go back to his original groomer in OC. read more
