I usually don't book my appointments until the week of, and noticed they do get booked quickly. So that's on me. But my doodle girl always looks fluffy and amazing when she comes in for maintenance grooming. We are currently scheduled for a full Summer cut and make note - they only take a limited amount of doodles since they take a longer time to groom. Hence, the appointments are more difficult to get for us. It's not located in the nicest area and often times, there is poop on the street walking to the groomers. I do wish they would clean up that part of the neighborhood more. In summary, they do a great job. My girl smells great when I pick her up and their prices are reasonable. I came to this salon for 1 year now. My dog Munchy was expected to get grooming service today. Her appointment was confirmed with the receptionist from a day prior to her appointment today 12:30pm. I brought my dog in taking Lyft and was hoping I could go to the gym afterwards. It's so inconvenient that the receptionist and the technician both told me they couldn't take her in and informed me the appointments are all booked and she didn't have any available until next week Thursday. I felt so comfortable with trying them after our phone conversation! I am so happy with the service and treatment Truffles got that as long as we are fostering Truffles, I will come here!!!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE!!!! They are abusive to dogs. I have a tiny 5 pound yorkie that doesn't like getting groomed (which I told them) and I also told them if they couldn't groom her, just call me and I'll come get her. I came here because the reviews were good and the location was cute. The owner Margarita seemed nice as well. But this day, I dropped her off at 10 AM & they hadn't called me yet to pick her up and it was getting late so at 4pm I CALLED THEM TO CHECK ON HER And then they responded with "oh yeah you can come now.. she's ready.. i thought that was suspicious.. knowing they close at 4:30... so when I picked up my yorkie, she just looked so sad and tired.. when she's usually so energetic and extremely happy to see me. I just held her on my lap until I got home... I usually let her walk around the neighborhood before we go inside the house so she can pee. But as soon as I put her down she started crying and yelling while limping. She could barely walk... I called the groomers and conveniently they had closed by the time I got home. I know they hurt her in some way shape and form. I called and no one would answer my calls because I know they have caller ID. I had work early the next day and got off at 5... when I called no one wanted to admit that anything happened. But she WAS FINE WHEN I DROPPED HER OFF AND HURT WHEN I PICKED HER UP.. it obviously didn't make ANY SENSE BUT IT WAS EXTREMELY OBVIOUS THAT SOMETHING HAPPENED TO MY BABY GIRL. I hate animal cruelty and they can't speak for themselves. It's just disgusting to hurt an innocent animal. So i feel take your dog elsewhere or learn to groom your pup yourself like I did. Weird, this is my second review for this company, but they are just great with our dogs. Last time I wrote a review for them we just had one dog. Now we have a Husky mix that they do a great job with. We now take both dogs, about once a month, and the always come back looking and smelling great. They clean the ears, trim the nails, and, with our Husky mix male, they do a sanitary trim to keep his hinney and boy parts tidy. Their prices are reasonable and the staff for nice. I wanted to love this place so bad because of the reviews and my first visit they were really nice & friendly. But the 2nd time I came in there was a woman with blondish brown hair wrapped in a bun being very rough with someone's schnauzer black and gray. She was using the metal bristle brush and she was brushing that dog so hard and aggressively in the face and on the body. She was even using that brush to brush the hair over the eyes, appearing to get naps out. I'm surprised the dog didn't snap at her. Whoever owns the schnauzer that was dropped off may 4th may want to have a chit chat with them or ask the owner for the other groomers to be gentle even if they're crowded or in a rush. Maybe don't overbook yourselves to have more patience. Being an animal lover it hurt me to see that. I work at a vets office so I know that wasn't nice grooming. Besides that they are nice and friendly. Just unsure if your dog will be groomed in a decent gentle manner. read more
