She was supposed to care for my husky before a trip we had planned. Because of her, we had to cancel. This was over a year ago now. But I keep hearing how she just became worst and worst with clients I had referred to her. I now refer them to another local groomer who is patient with all animals and does more for the community than could be expected. Dulce had me pick up my dog (basically turn right back around) because she said she tried to bite some of the smaller dogs. My dog is a husky rescue, who does not do well with smaller dogs under certain situations. Dulce knew and was told to keep her separate. But Dulce insisted on blaming me for my dog's trauma-provoked reactions. In any case, I am happy to say that my RayRay walks freely in the new groomer's shop around all the small dogs and has zero issues with temperament. The way that Dulce treated my dog was ridiculous and mean. My other dog, Loki, is happy in his new home with my son and has done well with his new sibling, a great dane. They stopped taking him to Dulce too due to her judgmental comments about his relocation to move with my son (at my son's request). If you have a reactive dog, a dog that isn't "well behaved" to Dulce's standards, just go somewhere else. She became to unprofessional and surprisingly rude once she got comfortable. I also witnessed her being so mean to some of the clients who were waiting outside several times. Her ego got the best of her. Unfortunate. Sometimes sweet, other times she just was so overbooked and stressed that she didn't pay attention. She also is not good with long hair dogs. Not sure why she just can't admit where her shortcomings are and not be a hater to other local groomers. She can simply refer us instead of shaving our Huskies. (ugh) Anyway, glad to be done with her. She seems to do well with small dogs though. So who knows.

My DLH cat Bubbles got sprayed by a resident skunk a couple weeks ago....and she stinks. Has a few…read morematts on her fur (like 4 small lumps...so rather than bathe her and try to cut the matts off myself....I figured I'd see how much to have her groomed. The place I occasionally take my dog Olivia to is closed Sundays/Mondays so I called a few other places. 3 didn't do cats, and one did. Allie & Paws. So I called them. When I mentioned bath and just a few matts they said we'd have to see her for a price.....but normally between $150 - $280.... I'm like WHAT!? OK thank you, Allie & Paws....you just gave me the motivation needed to do it myself. And hung up. Lol. So my Sunday after church was bathing my cat and cutting off her matts.....lol....Bubbles hates me, but she smells better.....lol! Ridiculous pricing for what I did myself in less than 45 mins. Only getting a 1 star because I can't mark ZERO.

Phoebe has been coming to Tara since she was a puppy for almost 2 years. We are on a 5-6 week schedule. I've never taken Phoebe to anyone else and I probably never will. One thing I notice about Phoebe is that she loves coming to Grooming Day Salon. She doesn't try to runaway lol so that's a great sign! Overall happy with Phoebe's haircuts. Whatever shampoo and perfume Tara uses on Phoebe smells soooooo good. I love that Tara keeps track of each client. She keeps notes on Phoebe's haircuts. At each drop off, she asks to do "same as last time" which makes it so easy. No need to over explain. Any special requests, I just ask or let her know. Easy as that. Pickup is just as easy. You are in and out. Make sure to close the gate behind you. I really appreciate the occasional photo updates and the festive bows or bandanas during any special holidays. They are upfront with prices and any extra charges when necessary such as flea baths or teeth cleaning. One my dogs was very old and during his last few months he wasn't as mobile but the staff was very gentle with him nonetheless. I still bring my other two dogs here still and they do a great job with bathing and grooming. My dogs are long haired dogs so their fur gets matted when it grows too long. I just love that they are given a little bandana after their grooming and how the bandanas matches the season or holidays.
