I'll start with the positive aspects of Paws in Motion. My wife and I dropped off our two dogs. We explained to her that we have a senior dog with hip issues along with various small tumor like bumps all over his skin. While our dogs were getting their fur trimmed, dulce sent us text updates, pics, and videos. We also got a before and after Pic which was cool to see. Now to the negative. When my wife and I first met dulce to drop off our dogs, she explained that she was busy with a dog that had behavior challenges. So as a result, she could not take in our dogs. Instead of calling to notify us ahead of time , she had us to drive out to her for nothing. She booked us for another appointment. When we met her for the second time, she gave us unsolicited advice about how we should not keep our dogs in kennels along with how my wife had a lot of anxiety over our senior dog. She was very passive aggressive in the way she spoke to us, as though she knew what was best for our dogs. If we want parenting advice for our dogs, we'll ask. When we picked up our dogs, we noticed that dulce had cut into our senior dogs small tumors. She placed antibiotics over the wounds. We specifically told her about the small tumors so that she would not cut into them. If this was going to be an issue, then she should have told us about it prior to taking in our senior dog. This is a kennel free establishment, but how does she ensure that dogs won't fight? Are there behavioral examines given to dogs to ensure they get along with other dogs? Is someone constantly watching them outside to make sure they get along? My wife and I will not return. We did not like the experience. read more

Original review: I recently had my husky breed dog stay at Paws in Motion DB for a vacation, and the experience had its ups and downs. While I appreciated some aspects, there were definite drawbacks that left me feeling stressed throughout my trip. The good part was that my dog was well-groomed and clean when I picked him up. It was nice to see updates of him on Instagram during his stay, giving me some reassurance that he was doing okay. She seemed to have an issue with how I raised my dog, particularly the fact that he's crate trained. Choosing this place over Petsmart's Banfield Pet Hotel turned out to be a financial mistake, as it ended up costing me $120 more. Amazing work!!! I am soooo please with how my doggie came out! I was nervous on grooming my dog for the first time, as some places don't know how to groom golden doodles. I recently moved back to Downey and it's always given me anxiety searching for a new groomer, vet, etc. I want to be sure my children are well cared for and meeting Dulce brought me so much comfort. You can tell she LOVES dogs, she's so wonderful with them. My children are a little difficult when it comes to nail trims so I always get nervous but she was able to trim their nails and they looked amazing when I picked them up. Brought my dog Cosmo to Dulce for boarding for a few days while my family went on a last minute trip. Dulce was amazing from start to finish! We are definitely bringing him back to her from now on. We reached out regarding boarding and got a response very quickly. We took our dog to her on Friday morning and she was very much aware of how to deal with him. He's a happy dog but is very timid around new people. She gave him space and he warmed up to her after that. It showed as when we got him home on Sunday he was so happy. Normally after boarding Cosmo is not himself right away when he gets home. She was also good about posting to Instagram while she had him. We were able to see him enjoying walks and being with the other dogs in her care. Part 2 Review (now that I have taken my cat): I've had my cat for 7yrs now and she has always been groomed by Fritzys Mobile. Although the convenience of her being groomed right in my drive way I without hesitation will start to make the commute to Paws in Motion to have her taken care of. She didn't look as happy as my dogs did when I picked her up but that was expected (she is spoiled like that) but it isn't easy being a pretty girl she's just going to have to suck it up and eventually get over it. My cat experiences dry skin & I think may have had a reaction to new food I gave her. Upon picking her up her coat was soft, smoooooth skin & smelled so good. So YES without a doubt Dulce has not seen the last of Princess. Her & her daughter are a Star Team. It has taken me some time to find someone whom I absolutely love who makes me want to become a regular client for my fur-babies. Ding! Ding! Ding! Winner, winner chicken dinner! I came across Paws in Motion Instagram page (best thing in 2020) after following her post for a couple of weeks I reached out to schedule an appt. She books up pretty quickly which to me was a good sign, must mean she has quite a few regulars who love her work. Thankfully she isn't too far from my place so the commute was a plus. Here are a few things I loved about Paws in Motion services... 1.) They are very active on IG throughout their spa sessions which allowed me keep up with what was being done to my dogs. This was helpful giving me an idea the status on services so I know when to be nearby to pick them up. Also, to see my babies were doing well (I swear my pups looked like they were smiling lol!) 2.) Her grooming fees are reasonable. I can't tell you how much I've paid and was not wow'd. Happy my dogs were clean but not wow'd like I was yesterday when picking them up. 3.) Her de-shedding was AMAZING! My poor babies needed a major de-shedding. I can only do so much at home in comparison to a professional. They came back out looking brand new ready to walk the paw carpet. 4.) The services included De-shedding, Bath (shampoo/conditioner), Facial (yes! They get a facial! I was jealous) Cleaning of the eyes, ears & teeth. Nail and hair trim (of the coat & deep in the paws) Oh! And their paws felt so smooth & purty. They smelled so fresh and good. I feel like I've been neglecting them by not finding her sooner & settling on previous groomers. She did such an amazing job. Note: I know she offers pick up/drop off and also house calls but due to Covid she has had to put those services on PAWS *pause until further notice. If you are looking for a local groomer I say give her services a shot. You won't be disappointed. P.S She does CATS as well so I will def update my review once I take that furball in. read more
